"Hey! Give me back my textbook!" You were busy shouting while chasing your best friend, Ji yeon.

Omg, I swear the last thing i want is my textbook being exposed to the whole school. Apparently my textbook is not just any textbook because I have spazz alot about my eyecandy. Yes that is right, my eyecandy, Baek hyun.

*Bump*

"Ouch" you landed on the floor because you bang onto someone.

"Sorry! Are you alright?" the person you banged on apologised immediately and even gave you a helping hand.

You looked up only to see Baek hyun infront of you. His flawless face stunned you and you stayed on the floor for like 123456789 seconds.

"Erm, what are you waiting?" he signalled his hand to you again.

"Oh! I'm fine. Thank you." you grabbed his hand.

People around you two started gossiping. "Are they dating?!" "Omo, she is holding Baek hyun's hand! How lucky!" "Did she purposely fell down so that she can get a chance to talk to Baek hyun?"

You heard a lot of nasty comments and came back to reality.

"I better go! Bye." you told him and ran away as fast you could. But darn, you couldn’t find Ji yeon. So you gave up and returned to your classroom only to find her inside.

"Ugh, Ji yeon can you just return me my textbook? And stop teasing me!" You tried to beg Ji yeon.

"I put it inside Baek hyun's locker!" Ji yeon said excitedly.

"What?!" You flared up a little. Even though she is your best friend, you can’t help but felt that she was a little overboard this time round.

Ji yeon burst out laughing. "Nah, just kidding. Is under your table" she then point to towards your table.

"Phew, if you really did, I am gonna kill you" you tried straggling Ji yeon but failed.

The boring class starts again and soon you find yourself daydreaming about Baek hyun, again.

"Yah! KIM JI EUN!" Ji yeon tried calling you back to reality.

Shaken back to reality the only word that came out from your mouth was "huh?" 

Ji yeon then quickly packed all your stuff into your bag and dragged you out of the room.

While walking back home,

"So when are you going to confess to your eyecandy next door?" Ji yeon questioned.

Your cheek turned red the moment you heard the word ‘eyecandy’. Oh well, I'm quite sure I like Baek hyun. But I don’t think I love him. Come on, how can someone love somebody when they never even talk before? Oh wait, we did talk. But it was like a few lines.

"Kim ji eun! Did you heard what I asked?"

"I did! I did! But, how am I supposed to answer this? You know very well don’t you? Me and Baek hyun can never be together"

"Why not? You're pretty and he is handsome. That is perfect"

"We don’t know each other. Plus, he has got like so many admirers!" You said in an unhappy tone.

"Get to know him then!" Ji yeon tried cheering you up.

"No thank you" you said.

Honestly you would love to make friends with him. But you know clearly you two are of different class.

He is rich and you're poor. He is smart and you're.. not dumb. Just happened to be in the last class. He can sing and dance very well but you're not talented at all. He has got so many good points yet you can’t find any good point in you that give you the slightest hope that you can fight for him.

"That is my bus. I got to go. Byebye!" Ji yeon waved and ran to her bus.

You sat down in the bus stop and because you're bored, you decided to go Twitter through your phone.

"Eh? Where is my phone?" You got panicked as you realised your phone was gone. You started tracing all the way back to school, only to realised nothing was found. Maybe I should try calling it. You went to the nearest public phone and start dailing your own number.

Ring once, ring twice.

Finally someone picked up the phone.

"Hello! This is Ji eun. I'm actually the owner of this phone. Can you return me my phone?" You asked politely hoping that the person who picked up your phone will return it back to you. You heard the other line clearing his throat and speak. 

"Yeah, sure. I will just place it in the school's library. Come and collect it yourself." he said.

"Alright! Thank you so much!" You went crazy smiling over the phone because you can get your phone back.

You ran to the school's library and ta dah, your beloved S2 is there.

"Aish, I should have asked the person his name or a way to contact him so that I can thank him personally."

Just then your phone suddenly ring.

"Hello?"

"I guess you got your phone"

"Oh is you! Yes, I got it back already! Thank you so much!" you said cheerfully.

"Welcome."

"By the way, are you from the same school as me?" you curiously asked. 

"Why ask?"

"Just.. i just thought of thanking you in person"

"Yeah, I am from SM high too"

"Great! Means I will get to see you in future. What is your name

"Hmm, you can call me Bacon for now."

"What? Bacon?!" You burst out laughing only to realise you're a little impolite.

"Oops, sorry. I'm Kim ji eun by the way. Nice to meet you, Bacon."

"Just so you know, that is my nick. My name, I will keep it a secret for now" he smirked.

"Why keep a secret? Aren’t we friends now?" You curiously asked.

"Are we?" He asked back to you.

"Yes we are! Fine if you don’t tell me your name. I will call you every day just to pester you and make you say your name out." you start giggling.

"Really? I wouldn’t mind" he laughed.

"Nah, just joking. I don’t think I will be that free to pester people. Anyway, I need to hang up already. I've got homework to complete."

"Bye Ji eun."

"Bye Bacon."

You two hanged up the call and you started doing your homework while writing some Baek hyun's facts in your homework.

One hour passed. Two hours passed. Three hours passed, half of the math homework you don’t know how to do.

You wanted to call Ji yeon for help. But well, since she is in the same class as you, her studies isn’t that good as well. So you shall pass. You took out your phone and click on twitter application.

Your phone started ringing. 

"Hello?" You asked.

"That was fast. What are you doing?" He asked. You recognised his voice immediately so you didn’t bother asking who. Instead you just reply his question.

"Looking at my twitter timeline"

"You finished your homework already?"

"Nah, math is such a . More than half of the questions I don’t know. So I gave up."

He just laughed when you say that math is a . "Which questions? I can teach you"

"Serious?" you sat up straight in your bed the moment he said he can teach you.

"Yeah, quickly ask before I change my mind"

You started to spam him questions and when you are done it was already late at 2am.

"Omg, I am so sorry. I didn’t realised it is already 2am." you said it apologetically.

"Is alright. Is just nice my sleeping time." Baek hyun said while yawning.

"I owed you again! Thanks for today and good night!" You said to him and hanged up the call. You switched off your table light and went to the bed.

The next day you woke up with a text left unopened in your phone.

-Good morning! Kekeke- from Bacon.

You text back him

-Morning! I am running late for class. T.T-

You quickly rushed to your toilet and brushed your teeth and also changed into your uniform. When you are done, you headed out to your kitchen to grab some breakfast to eat. While eating, you checked your phone for any text from Bacon. And here you go! One unread text,

-Well, if you hurry up you might actually reach on time before the gate close ^^- from Bacon.

You check the time in your phone and realised if you run to the bus stop now you might have enough time. So you decided to run. But before that, you decided to reply him first.

-Alright! I made up my mind. I shall run! See you in school Bacon! :D-

-See yah- from Bacon.

You rushed all the way and check your watch. Omg, one more minute. When you reach the gate it was about to close but someone managed to stop it from closing and let you in. The someone was none other than Baek hyun. 

"Omg. Thank you. If the gate close, I am gonna get the number I-dont-know-what detention" you said it breathlessly. While trying to get some air, you can’t help but stared at his gorgeous face. How can someone be so handsome?

"Anytime" he walked away.

Oh yes, class. You went straight to class once he is gone. You took out your math homework since it is math lesson.

"Did you managed to solve all the questions?" Ji yeon asked.

"Yeah, I did. With the help of my friend" you said happily.

"Let me copy!!!!" Ji yeon smack your arm endlessly.

"Do it quickly before Mr Lee comes and catch your questions undone" I winked.

Ji yeon signal me the 'okay' sign.

Instead of doing my daily routine, daydreaming. I took out my phone and text Bacon.

-Bacon!!!!! I talked to my eyecandy today. *millions of scream*-

-Oh? Eyecandy? In SM high? Or some other schools?- from Bacon

-SM high! If you're in SM high, you should know who is he! He is like the eyecandy of so many girls~

--Hmmm, so who exactly is he?- from Bacon

-Baek hyun!!!! Do you know who is he?-

You check through your phone every single minute. 10 minutes later you gave up. Maybe he is just busy concentrating in class.

*ring ring* recess time!

"What cha eating?" Ji yeon asked.

"Something light? Bacon?" You giggled at your own joke.

"What is so funny about bacon?" Ji yeon asked with her index finger tapping on her lips.

"Nothing's funny." you ran all the way to the canteen while Ji yeon chased you in a hurry.

You checked through your phone again while queuing for your food.

One unread text. You opened it up excitedly only to discover it was some spam text.

"Oh wth" you said as you delete your text.

Wait, why am I waiting for his text? Is it because I am beginning to feel interested in him or I just wish he knows Baek hyun and he can help me make friends with him? Aish, mind kinda confused now.

Recess ended.

You check your phone for the last time before putting it in your pocket.

Oh a text! You quickly opened it up.

-Baek hyun? Oh yeah, I heard of him before. The main singer from EXO right?- from Bacon

Yes yes! Is him. The awesome him!

You started spazzing about him to Bacon.

 

Another day has gone.

Soon weeks has passed.

You and Bacon has become closer to the extend you two will text each other in school and call up each other when you guys reach home.
"So Bacon, when can I get to see you?" You asked him over the phone. There was a long pause.

"Actually, we see each other every day" he replied.

"In SM high? But the thing is I don’t know which one is you! Please, I told you all my secrets including me fandolizing Baek hyun and why can’t you tell me what is your name and also why can’t we see each other?!"

"Because I am afraid I might disappoint you. Isn’t the current state best for us now?"

You realised no matter how hard you tried asking him to meet you or ask for his name, you wouldn’t get an answer back. So you gave up.

"I need to sleep. Good night." you said in an utterly sad tone. Before you even wait for him to say good night, you hang up his call.

Baek hyun's pov

Sorry Ji eun, I didn’t mean to spoil your mood a day before your birthday. I promise, tomorrow you will be the happiest birthday girl ever.

 

Clock strike midnight 12am.

You received a text. Hoping it was from Bacon you opened it out.
 

-Happy birthday ji eun! Quickly get yourself a bf and forget about Baek hyun!"- from Ji yeon

Awww, Ji yeon is always on time.

-Thanks Ji yeon. See you in school tomorrow :D-

You received a few other texts from your classmates. With that, you fall into your dreamland.

You woke up only to discover you are going to be late, again.

"Ugh, why is this happening to me again?!" You scolded yourself while looking at the mirror combing your hair.

After you’re done you quickly run to your school before the gate close.
 

Baek hyun's pov

Is she late again? I should have morning call her this morning. Just then he saw you coming towards his direction.

"Oh yes, she is here"

 

Back to your pov

"Yes i made it! God loves me." You cheered.

Baek hyun couldn’t help but giggled a little at her.

In class, the white board wrote big big 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY, by Bacon'

"Eh?"

"Ji eun! Who is this bacon?!' Ji yeon look into your eyes and demand you for an explanation she wants to hear.

You were a bit reluctant to say it. But you can’t hide anything from your friend too so you said "A friend of mine. But i didn’t tell him today is my birthday."

"Is a him?! Omo, you finally give up on Baek hyun?" Ji yeon eyes went wide.

You nodded.

The teacher arrived before Ji yeon got a chance to ask you more questions.

Before turning back to the front she mouth to you 'tell me about more later'. You just smile at her.

You unlock your phone while the teacher was marking attendance.

One unread text.

You opened it up, hoping it was from someone you want to see, bacon.

"Meet me at the rooftop after school today"- From Bacon

You texted him an okay and start listening to the teacher.

Once is break time, Ji yeon asked about Bacon. You just start your grandmother story all the way to you guys are finally going to meet each other.

"So yeah, we are finally meeting today after school" you chuckled.

"Are you scared?" Ji yeon asked.

"A little. But at the same time, I wish to know him in real life too. So no matter what, I am going." You gave Ji yeon a determined face.

"Do you want me to accompany you?"

You shook your head.

"Alright, let’s just hope he is a wonderful guy in real life too" Ji yeon smiled.

School ended nicely. You walked slowly up to the rooftop.

When you reached there, Bacon wasn’t there yet. So you sat down while waiting for him. You look up at the sky and smile towards the sky because you realised how beautiful the clouds are today.

"Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to Ji eun. Happy birthday to you" an angelic voice came out from behind. So you turned back only to see Baek hyun. You were a little shock that he is standing behind you with a small cake on his hands.

"Happy birthday ji eun" baek hyun smiled happily towards you.

"Eh? Baek hyun? Why are you here?" You asked in a curious tone.

"I'm the one you been wanting to meet" he said.

After one minute of thinking,

"You're Bacon?!" You almost shouted.

"Please allow me to reintroduce myself. I'm Baek hyun from EXO.” he bowed.

The only thing you can think off is what the hell just happened?

"I think you made a mistake" you said and went off leaving him standing alone in the rooftop.

You walked off angrily because you realised that all along he has been lying to you from his true identity.

"Wait! Wait!" Baek hyun shouted from behind but you didn’t bother to turn your head back. He ran to you and grabbed your wrist. You turned to him and asked "what do you want?"

"Listen. I am sorry that I hide my true identity from you. But I didn’t mean it. At the start when we banged onto each other, to me it was like love at first sight. I couldn’t help but glance at you more. When I was finally backed to reality, I saw your phone on the floor. I wanted to call you back, but you were already gone. I unlocked your phone and saw your wall paper. It was a picture of my selca. I couldn’t help but get interested in you. When you called your phone, I finally realised what I should do. If I were to make friends with you as Baek hyun, it might not turn out good. So I decided to use my nickname instead." Baek hyun confessed to you everything.

"Wait, love at first sight?" you started laughing out loud when he was so serious.

"Yes. It was really love at first sight. I didn’t believe in that until I met you." You looked into his eyes and discovered that everything he said comes out from sincerity. 

"Alright, apology accepted. You didn’t lie to me anyway. After all, Bacon is your nickname." you smiled at him.

"So we are still friends right?" Baek hyun asked shyly.

You nodded.

"Do you have anything on right now?" Baek hyun asked while scratching his head.

"Nope. I don’t. Why?" You asked.

"Then let’s go!" He took your hand and started running.

"Wait wait, where are we going??" you held him back. He look at you and put a finger on his lips. “Secret”

You have got no choice but to follow him since he is holding your hand.

After 10 minutes of running, you two finally reached a place.

"Ta dah. Here we are."

"Are we sitting the ferris wheel?" You pointed up to the big ferris wheel.

"Yes! I always wanted to sit the ferris wheel with someone I like. The someone is you." Baek hyun confessed. He ped his backpack and took out a pink paper rose.

"I tried learning it from youtube videos ever since I first saw you. This is the first rose that I've ever made. Looking at it now, it isn’t that nice but I promise you that each day, each rose that I am going to give to you will become better. So will you become my girlfriend?"

Did my eyecandy just confessed to me? Is this real? Suddenly you can feel your own temperature raising.

You nodded shyly and took the rose away from him. You couldn’t help but smile at it. You wanted to do what every girl did, to smell the rose. But since is paper made, you doubt there is any smell.

"Erm, well you know. *cough cough* I watch some confession videos and realised girls always tend to smell their bouquet of flowers. So to make this happen to the paper rose, I spray perfume on it"

You giggled a little and smell it.

"It smell nice. Thanks, Baek hyun."

After your date, you two walked back to your house hand in hand.

"Thanks Baek hyun. Being your girlfriend is the best birthday present ever." You smile at him.

"Actually, it is still not the best. I still haven’t said something I wanted to say since just now."

"Oh? What is it?" You started thinking what he wants to say. But nothing came into your brain. 

"Ji eun, I love you." he then plant a kiss at your forehead. Your eyes were tightly shut when he kiss your forehead. You can totally feel your cheeks burning. After he was done, you opened up your eyes.

"I love you too. Call me when you reach home. Good night" you said and went in to your house.

At this moment both of our minds were thinking the same thing.

This love, shall be everlasting.
