Prologue:

"You like... who?"

"I just told you. Don't make me repeat it."

Taemin laughed and stood up, taking his plate and mine as well. "I can't believe it! The day Han Mirae likes someone, and the person just happens to be Kim Kibum."

I scowled and shot up, slamming down on the dining table. "If you tell anyone-"

"I know." He rolled his eyes. "But really, what are you going to do about it? He's our best friend."

I plopped back down and pouted. "I don't know. But… at least he doesn't have any crazy fangirls, unlike you." I noticed from the corner of my eye that Taemin was on his phone, but I ignored it and continued talking. "I mean, really, it wouldn't take long to explain to them that the fact that we live together doesn't mean that we're going out-"

"Uh, you have bigger problems than my fangirls."

"What?" 

"So, this rumor just started… it looks like Kim Jonghyun might have a thing for our Key."

"WHAT?"

I couldn't deal with crazy girls? I had to have my love rival be Kim Jonghyun, the most popular boy in school?
