“sorry for this, I troubled you so much.” So Min said to Jae joong with an eye smile then she continued cleaning the table. Jae

froze in a second, he admired so min’s beautiful smile. “ah, its nothing. They are cool. Bet its always this chaotic whenever they are

here” jae said making conversation now. He wants to be with so min longer. “you have no idea, they are such sweet boys. Specially

jonghyun.” So min uttered and shook her head while giggling. “my brother have been friends with them since 1^st year but I just

recently found out about the band.” She continued.

“are they good?” jae asked. “well, as far as I heard they are. They are making a name in hongdae clubs.” So min replied. “you should

hear them, yonghwa and jonghyun are super great.” So min widen her eyes in exclaiming. “you really like that jonghyun kid?” jae

uttered a hint of jealousy in his voice. “what? Jonghyun please, I’m older than him, besides, he just reminds me of someone.” A

faint smile registered in So min’s face, and look at the photo displays. Jae looked at the direction so min looked.

Jae Joong POV

“omo! You have a photoshoot tomorrow you should be resting” So Min clapped her hands once.  She really never fails to amuse me

with her small gestures. ~why am I being like this?~ “oh, right. Do you have a ride tomorrow?” I asked her. She looked at me

clueless. “I will go to the company of course, ajussi will be going with me.” She replied. “oh, I’m just wandering of you want to go

with me.” I asked. ~why am I so nervous?~ “with you? But I have lots of stuff to bring. The company van is what I need.” She

replied. ~aiish, this girl can really be stupid at times~ “oh okay suit yourself. I’m going” I try to hide my frustration. “okay see you

on the set tomorrow” she replied waving. I waved then she turn to go back in their house.

When I was about to get into my car “oh, jae joong hyung, you’re going already,?” jungshin suddenly appeared. “ah neh. Got an early

schedule tomorrow”  I replied. “oh, is that so, well be careful driving” he said and give me a salute. This kid is cool. “oh, noona, okay

bye jae joong hyun” he said and run towards the stairs. “KIM HYUN JOONG” he shouted. So min froze on the stairs, she slowly

turn to face jungshin, her facial expression is blank with a hint of excitement.  “yah! Jung shin! Why you! Come here palli!” she

shouted. Jung shin is laughing with her sister’s sudden outburst. He looked at my direction again and waved then he run towards his

sister. So min hit him. That’s my cue, so I drive away from there. “who is Kim Hyun Joong?”

So Min POV

“you!” pinch shin-ah’s ear. “awww, aww, noona that hurts. I’m just joking” shin –ah uttered. “mianhe” he continued. I released him.

“don’t you ever do that to me again.” I scoff. “noona, what if he comes back?” Shin asked me. That question stunned me. What will

happen f he comes back. a sudden urge to see hyun joong is lingering my mind now. ”so what? And he will not” I replied. “noona we

are doing what ifs here” shin crossed his arms in his chest. “shin, he is still my bestfriend. I’ll be happy if he comes back” I

simplify my answer. “okay” shin just replied.

Inside my room I kept on thinking what shin-ah asked me, “what if he comes back?” she faced the wall, and then flashback came in,

~Flashback~

“so min ah! Come on, we have to finish the assignments for we can go the the amusement park” hyun joong called on so min who is

inside her room. “shin-ah, can you get your noona for me” hyun joong said to shin-ah who is just 9 years old then. “Noona, hyun hyung

is waiting. What are you still doing there?” shin said while knocking. “did you get my English dictionary again shin-ah? I can’t find it!”

so min said after opening the door. “ah… deh.. miane.. I’ll just get it. Go outside, hyung is waiting for you.”shin goes to his room.

So Min and Hyun joong have been friends since they were young.  The families are tight too. Hyun Joong is So Min’s first love. Only

that he doesn’t know.  “Hyun joong, are you really going to migrate after high school?” Somin asked with a hint on sadness in her

voice. “yes, my parents got a good job in L.A so we need to move there. As much as I want to stay here and enter college with you I

can’t.” hyun joong uttered looking at  So Min. He didn’t want to leave. He wants to be with her. “promise me you’re always gonna

email me.” So min said and sob. “of course I will. You’re my best friend forever remember?” he said while hugging so min. So min

can’t help but cry now. “shh.. Tomorrow is our big day. You don’t want to be ugly on our graduation day.” Hyun joong mock her. 

month spassed after hyun joong went to L.A, “noona, you’re staring at your screen again, hyun hyung doesn’t emailed you yet?”

junghsin asked while chewing his food. “he doesn’t, maybe he is so busy with his new life now. He forgot all about me.” So min felt a

little sting in her heart. “I’d better cancel this email account.” So min said. And just like that, So min key in something on her

screen.

Dear Hyun Joong,

How was L.A, hope you and your parents are doing great. I miss you best friend.  By the way, I just wanted to tell you something. I

know it’s going to be awkward from now on but I have to tell you this,

Ever since I have liked you. Not just a friend.  Well, I gotta go. Good luck on your new venture.

~End of flashback~

So Min didn’t cancel her email account but she has never used that account ever since she wrote that to hyun joong.  So Min stared

at her ceiling.  “what if he comes back? will he remember me?” she asked herself, with that thought lingering her mind her eyes

got heavy and she falls in to a dreamless sleep.
