The thing with auditions is that you never know what could happen. Despite having a talent for singing, dancing or acting, there are some who don't even make it through because they didn’t have that "extra spark" the judges were looking for. For those who did make it through were lucky, having the ability and chance to captivate their audiences at the right moment. 

Once the numbers of idol hopefuls were reduced to the last 50 contestants at the SM Town Auditions, the boys and girls became more like people and less like nameless faces in the crowd. Among them, were Kim Jong In, who was later named as Kai and a Chinese boy with a dream, Lu Han.

They didn’t know it then, but their futures were shining brightly together.
