Hello and goodbye

Me, Bora and Kwangmin are best friends since we’re little, 3 of us are neighbors. Now we’re already entering high school, and everyday we ride the train to our school, because our school are pretty far we usually sleeps in our way to school.

“aigoo.. I’m tired~” Kwangmin yawned,

“It’s because you played games yesterday aren’t you?” Bora teased Kwangmin,

“Aniyo! I played it only a while!” he yelled,

“your a while is until in the morning!” I too,

“omo.. he’s pouting!” Bora said as she pointing at Kwangmin. And we all laughed so hard together, right this is the feeling that I always like, but..

“I want to sleep! Can I borrow your lap?” Kwangmin begged me, I look the other way and pretend to be mad at him,

“aaa... jebal!!” he begged even more,

I turned back and smiled to him, “yes.. yes.. of course you can, isn’t you always do this?” he smiled and sleep in my lap.

This is the feeling that I can’t forget the most, “I think he likes you” Bora wishpered and winked to me, I just smiled.

Bora may not know this, even Kwangmin doesn’t but I have a huge crush in Kwangmin, I always like him since we were 9.

Weeks, months even years passed already and we still remain as best friends, and yes I still like Kwangmin, but I never have the courage to tell him. Every morning in the train he slept on my lap as he close his eyes and I close mine It feels like this universe only belong to both of us, but one day Kwangmin called me,

“Are you busy?” he asked,

“Ani, waeyo Kwangmin-a?”

“I want to tell you something” he said,

As I hear that my heart beats so fast, ‘Is it possible if he’ll said he like me?’ I clear my throats and asked,

“Waeyo? Are you sick?”

“Aniyo”

“Then why?”

“I... want to confess...” he fluttered, as I heard that my heart beats more faster than before,

“to who? Do I know this girl?” I asked him nervously,

“ne, of course you know her”

“Who is it?”

“it’s...” he stopped for a while,

“Who?”

“Bora-ssi”

As I heard Bora’s name I froze and feels like my heart is shattered into pieces, I can’t say anything for a second,

“ya~ya~ Gwenchana?” Kwangmin asked me panickly “Why? are you shocked?”

I erased my tears and pretend to laughed “ani.. I already knew it”

“Jinca? Am I that obvious?”

“Aniyo.. I think she has no clue, aa.. Kwangmin-a, I think I need to help my mom first, talk again later okay?”

“ne, arraso” He then hang up the phone as I watched the stars I cried even more ‘Why do I even like him in the first place? PABOOO!’

After weeks passed every morning I still feels Kwangmin’s head in my lap, but everytime I remembered he wants to confess to Bora, my tears start to falls, until one day Bora tells us that she need to move,

“MOVE? Where are you going?!” I yelled loudly,

“Incheon, my father bussiness transfered him there” she answered,

“Promise me, you will call me everyday!” I cried to her,

“Ne, arraso” She smiled to me,

Kwangmin just stays quiet next to me, “Kwangmin-a, say something”

“Kwangmin-a, stay healthy and I promise to call you everday too” Bora said,

“Take care” Kwangmin cried,

“Kwangmin-a....” Honestly it’s the first time I see Kwangmin cried,

“Bora-ssi!!! I need to tell you something” he yelled,

“Kwangmin-a..?” Bora fluttered,

“I like you, I always been” he cried and I see Bora cried as well,

“Why did you just tell me now?!” Bora cried and they both hugged,

The next day I know they started as a couple, Every morning I still feel Kwangmin’s head on my lap but knowing he’s with someone else hurt me even more, so since then I always avoid him sleeping on my lap,

“Hey! Wanna go shopping together?” Kwangmin asked,

“Mwo? You have a lot of money don’t you?” I teased,

“Ani, Tomorrow’s Bora birthday, I want to give something to her, any idea?”

“I don’t know, maybe we can find something in that store” I said pointing a cute store, I know I might be the most stupid person in the world, but I don’t know why, everytime Kwangmin smile, I can’t help it and I just want him to keep smiling like that, even I hurt myself,

“Ya! Are you day dreaming?” Kwangmin yelled,

“Aa.. mianhae”

“You want something?” he asked,

“Aniyo, just buy me food” I teased,

“Food is what you always thinking right?” he chuckled,

“Kwangmin-a.. I think Bora will like this”

“What’s that?”

“Couple key-chain, locks and key, It’s cute” I smiled,

“Bora like this kind of stuff?”

“Aigoo.. you’re her boyfriend right? You should know”

He grabbed my hand and hold both of my hand tightly “Gomawo!! Gomawoo!!” he said hapily,

“Ne..ne.. can we eat right now?” I said,

“Wait..” he said and give me a ring, “Boya..?” I asked,

“This is a ring, symbol of our friendship” he smiled,

I nod and say “Thanks”

“I’ll send this to Bora too” he smiled,

This kind of thing hurt me the most, I know that there’s no way Kwangmin will like me, Bora is who he always like not me, I’m sorry to myself for liking him too much

“Ahh.. let’s go there!” he said with grabbing my hand,

“slow down kwangmin-a”

“I can’t.. I just really want to deliver this”

How lucky is Bora, she’s one perfect girl, she’s smart, kind, rich and now she has Kwangmin,

“Are you done?” I asked him with crossing my arm,

“Ne! Kaja!”

“Ehh.. where?”

“Eat, aren’t you the one that keep asking for food?”

“ahh.. ne” I smiled,

“O.. you have a cute smile” he said,

“B..B..Boya?” my heart beats faster,

“That smile can melts any guys heart” he smiled, really? Can it? I don’t think so though, yours don’t

“really? Are yours?” I teased,

“Ya.. I have Bora” he fluttered,

“kekeke, araso, I’m just teasing you” I chuckled,

“Ah! Jajangmyeon! Let’s eat that!” he yelled, I nod my head and follow him,

“Ose-oseyo, table for two?” the waiter asked,

“Ne” I nod my head,

“You two couple? You both look good together” the waiter smiled,

We both look at each other and chuckled, “Ani, we’re not”

“Ah!” Kwangmin suddenly yelled,

“Ya~ Don’t yell when you’re eating, your Jajangmyeon are flying everywhere kekeke”

“Bora called!” He jumped hapily and go outside to answer the call, after few minutes he come back inside with a sour look,

“Ehh.. waeyo?” I asked as I see his teary eyes, he just stay quiet and shook his head,

“Kwangmin-a.. Don’t lie! Is there something happen with Bora?”

“We.. broke up”

“EH?!”

“She said that she can’t stand long distance relationship and the thought both of us far apart and meet someone else, she don’t want to be hurt” he cried,

“Kwangmin-a...” How can Bora break up with Kwangmin, he’s always there to think about Bora, she should know how he talk about her, think about her, cry and miss her

“Gwenchana, I know this won’t be long anyway” he tried to smile,

“....” There’s just silence between us,

In the way home, we waited for the train, “Kwangmin-a..” I poked him,

“Ne?”

“Are you sure you can let Bora go this way?” he just nod his head and look away,

“YA! Kwangmin-a!!! Don’t LIE” I yelled,

“WHAT CAN I DO RIGHT NOW?! SHE DON’T WANT WITH ME AGAIN” he cried louder, looks like he’s mad at his self,

“Kwangmin-a.. go get her then” I said with giving him a ticket to Incheon,

“....”

“You don’t want to lose her right? Go get her heart back”

He grabbed my hand and look into my eyes with his teary eyes, “Kamasahamnida, you’re my truly best friend”

“Araso, now go before you’re late” I hug him tightly and he hug me back, Kwangmin-a your hug.. I’ll never forget it,

He then run towards a train and wave his hand towards me, I smiled and waved at him back “KWANGMIN-A I REALLY LIKE YOU” I yelled as the train moves and leave me alone,

Days after Kwangmin go to Incheon as well he finally sent me a picture “Thanks to you! Me and Bora are together again ^^” I put down my phone and closed my eyes as the train moves.

“Excuse me.. Is this seat taken?” Someone asked,

I open my eyes and my eyes widen “Kwangmin-a?”

He smiled and said “Ani, Youngmin imnida” he look exactly like Kwangmin, but his hair’s blonde

“No one is seating here” I replied, he smiled and sit next to me

When the train goes faster and faster he fell asleep on my shoulder and reminds me of Kwangmin, one love that I can’t get, one love that makes me cry and smile, and one love that won’t fades.
