Minji point of view

I wake up staring at the familiar white ceiling. Also the familiar voice yelling at me for being stupid.

      " Mom, I don't regret what I did" I tell her weakly

      " You already know that your body is weak so why did you go out?" My mom crying.

      " Mom I already know that I only have 1 month left, I want to do what I wanted before I leave" I wipe tear from her face

      " What? how did you know?" My mom ask in shock

      " I overheard you talking to dad. Mom you know how much I like Baekhyun oppa. I knew that you would never agreed to it so I go out secretly." I whisper

      " I already know that's why i agreed to fake your sister birthday and invite him over" My mom sit down on the bed. 

      " I love you mom" I kiss her on the cheek. My mom knows that I love Baekhyun oppa that why she faked the birthday party so that I can see him. She didn't even tell me I was so surprised when I opened the door to see Baekhyun standing with his mom.

       " Mommy, Baekhyun oppa kept his promise" I said and my mom give me a gentle smile

       " I told you he will" My mom kissed me on my forehead and went outside to call my dad. I close my and remember when I was in fifth grade

" Baekhyun oppa thank you for the flower" I smile at the 11 years old Baekhyun

" You are welcome " Baekhyun smile which melts my heart

" Oppa I want to go to the amusement park, my mom said that she always go there with my dad, she said it really pretty" 

" Okay when we get older I will take you there" Baekhyun try to pose like an grown up

" Really? oppa when we get older there will be a lot of pretty girls you will not ignore me right? " I pout

" Yes i promise and I already told you I only look at you" Baekhyun kissed me on the cheek, i blushed

Baekhyun point of view

I stayed up all night wait for my mom to come back. I fell asleep on the table without noticing. I hear someone opening the door.

      " Mom, is she okay?" I run to the door.

      " Yeah I heard she woke up, what a relief. the doctor said that she overdose her medicine, but from now on she need to stay in the hospital. She can't stay at home anymore. They need to keep in to watch her closely." My mom walk to the kitchen and i follow her.

      " Oh" I hope she feel better. ' thank you for keeping your promise' that sentence been running through my mind the whole night

      " Too bad, we can't see her as often anymore" My mom take a sip of water

      " Mom, at the birthday party is not the first time I see Minji right?" I ask

      " What do you mean?" My mom put the glass down 

      " Did I know her before like when I was little or something?" I ask, My mom look at me with a shock expression.

      " Did you remember something?" My mom rush over " tell me did you remember something?" she asks louder this time

      " No, but How come I dont have any childhood memories? Did something happened to me?" 

      " Sit down" My mom point at the chair, so i sit down " Baekhyun, when you were in fifth grade you got...kidnapped." My mom stop to check on me before continue   " The doctor said that it must have been a really bad experience so your brain erase the memories. Basically, you erased all of your memories and all your memories from fifth grade and back are all erased you only remember what happen from sixth grade till now"

       " so...I...That why i have no memories of fifth grade at all" i try to remember what happened

       " don't force yourself sweetie it's better to not remember those horrible memories" My mom pat my head

       " Did I know Minji back then?" 

       " You and Minji were best friend. You two always hang out with each other. I remember you told me that when you grow up you want to have Minji as your wife. Minji was really cute and strong back then, you used to get bullied a lot and she the person you protected you form the bullies. After you got kidnapped Minji came over to play with you, but you ignore her completely you even hit her so that she will leave you alone. You don't even know how heartbreak Minji was, she comes over everyday thinking that you might remember her. One day, she come over and I don't know what you told her, but she ran out of our house crying since that time she never come back again." 

I can't believe this we knew each other. What promise did I made with her and what did i said that she her cry and never come back? So many thought run through my head. What happened, why did I erased my memories? I want to know everything. I hit my head trying to remember.

        " Don't do that, I dont want you to remember those things okay? Im tired Im going to sleep"  My mom walk to her room.

 Minji pov

      " I talked to the doctor and your dad, and we all agreed that it is best to transfer you to America. They have better medical treatment" My mom inform, but I can't hear her anymore. I dont want to hear it America? that too far away. I don't want to leave Korea, I don't want to leave Baekhyun. If i only have one month left I want to spend the whole month with him. 

      " But...mom..." I reject the idea

      " No you have to go I will not let you die, even if there a small chance to keep you alive I would take it." 

      " then when is it?" I ask knowing she will not change her mind 

      " tomorrow" 

      " what but then that is too soon" I sit up from my bed

      " You're very sick we need to leave as soon as possible" 

I sit there staring into space. I barely get to talk to Baekhyun oppa again, but now I have to leave. I missed him so much, he still doesn't remember me. I want him to remember all the memories that we had together. He said that he only look at me, he even said that he going to marry me. Hot tears fall down my cheek. Even if i stay I only have one month and I don't think he would marry a sick girl like me. My hair would fall later and I will not be able to speak, i dont think i want him to see me like that. I guess America would be a good choice.

Baekhyun pov

I hate monday, I hope school will be over soon. Im going to visit Minji today, I hope she feel better by now. the after school bell finally ring, I rush out of school and go to the nearest flower shop. i brought the prettiest flowers and run to the hospital

      " What the name of the patient you looking for?" the nurse ask

      " Kim minji" I answer, the nurse type the name in the computer and look up at me

      " She got discharge this morning and according to the information she is being transfer to an hospital in America" 

What America? 'please let her be at her house' i thought as i run to her house. i run as fast as i can hoping that she is still packing up at her house. I need to see her for the last time before she leave. I haven't tell her my feelings yet. What if we would never see each other again. America is too far away. 

      " Baekhyun " My mom call i immediately stop 

      " MOM  HAVE THEY LEFT YET?" i ask out of breath

      " Im sorry son they just left in that cab" My mom point at the yellow cab that about two block away. Without thinking i run after the cab

      " MINJI!!!!!!! YOU CAN'T LEAVE, I HAVEN'T TELL YOU THAT IM SORRY FOR NOT REMEMBERING YOU. I HAVEN'T TELL YOU THAT I LOVE YOU YET.  YOU CAN'T LEAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i yell running after the cab but it's all useless  the cab seem to be drive faster every single second. I run as fast as i can but the distance between us keep on getting farther. I couldn't feel my leg anymore and fell to the floor crying. I feel so hopeless
