"Aye JR! What's with you? You sound pissed" Aron who was lying on my sofa could tell that I had a bad day just by listening to my movements....I broke the door

"Just this these kids I ran into today. Hey move over I wanna sit" I pushed Aron hyung aside and sat there leaving a big sigh. Aron has been with me.. since.. I can't even remember. Like 5 years ago? It was when I was having a tough time adapting to the new change of lifestyle.

Flashback

I was coming home one night buying food and saw a kid the same age as me (well I thought he was) lying on the ground like a helpless person. I dropped the bag of food and helped him up "Hey it's not safe to lie around the streets like that" I grunted as I tried to lift him up to take him to my shelter or as you can call it my crappy home. Why was he on the streets you wonder. He was an orphan, he ran away from the place because maybe it was cruel? Ah I don't know. He speaks fluent English though even until now

I gently placed him on the ripped sofa and opened a water bottle. He had no energy to hold up the bottle himself so I held it up for him. "Th-hank you" He muttered under his breath.

"Just rest for now, wake up whenever you have the energy" I covered him with a blanket and he quickly fell asleep. I slept on the ground for the night and hopefully he'll be better the next morning.

"GOOD MORNING~!" I heard a giggle echoing in my ear, I wasn't in the mood to wake up so the covered my ears with my hands "Yahhhhh~ wake up or I'll-" I didn't wait until he finish his sentence I woke up immediately and scratched my head

"Oh your up.." I squinted my eyes for a bit and notice it was that boy I picked up from the streets "Thank you for having me" He went on his knees and bowed until his head touched the ground "I'll let myself out now" while I was still squinting , I notice what he said and replied "Wait!" He waited and I was wobbling while standing up

"You don't have a place to stay right? You're welcome to stay here" He had glimmering hope in his eyes. Before I know it he was squeezing me tightly "O..K..OK.. you can let go now" He gave me some space to catch my breath and bowed again "I will not get in the way"

End Flashback

'And look at him now..'  "So tell me about these kids"

"Eh.. They were bullying a helpless old man and someone called me a bumble poor idiot"

Aron snickered while trying to fix the door "What's so funny?" I half smiled at him while kicking his "Oh nothing~ just the name suits you that's all" 

"Yah just remember I was the one who have you a home"

"What if I don't need one~?"

"Then go find another home" K, this is only us joking around don't take it seriously. We've been doing this since we met. We laughed it off afterwards.

"Awh .." He stopped mending the door and went down from the chair

"What 'Awh '? " I rest my eyes a bit until I heard hyung swear

"We're out of glue" As soon I heard the word glue I knew I had some left from fixing the old mans cane "Here" I chucked it at him and he caught it

"Oh and nails. Do you have any nails in there?"

"What do you think?" I smirked at him and carefully reached inside my pocket and took out a water gun I snatched from the rich kids. I laughed while squirting the water at him but he didn't look amused when he opened his eyes

"AHHH fine I'll go out and get the nails.." I climbed out and over the opening window above the sofa and went off to Baekho's place because I really can't be buying new nails

When I arrived at Baekho's apartment (yes an apartment), I used the key he gave me to get into his place "Hey Baekho-" I saw him meditating so I quietly walked to he cupboard where he kept his tools, but whilst getting there I made squeak on the floor 'oh ..'

"STOP RIGHT THERE" He raised his bamboo sword and ran towards me like a ninja

"Y-Y-YAH IT'S ME" I tried dodging his hit with my arm but I swear I'm getting bruises from his ing stick "WHO THE HELL IS ME" I bobbed down and yelled out "JR YOU IDIOT" He stopped waving his stick around just above the tip of my hair, he opened his eyes and looked down "Oh hyung~" He dropped his stick gently on the ground and hugged me

"Aish get offa me" I pushed him off. Both of us looked around the place and there were pillows everywhere and multiple broken things around the kitchen

This is how we first met when I tumbled into his family's dojo 3 years ago. Except I wasn't looking for tools

"Wow did I do all this?" I lightly scoffed

"Chyeah you did" He weakly laughed while scratching the back of his head

"Well help me will yah"

"Awh man I didn't come here to clean up.." I silently whispered under my breath and started pick up the appliances

"Then why did you come here" Baekho has good hearing skills that's why he went all tank and when I made that creak noise

"Oh I came here to get nails but since I caused you to make this mess.. I'll help you clean"

"Good hyungie" I looked away from his puppy smile and sighed. After we finally packed up I got the nails, I was about to leave but he told me to sit down

"So how’s kendo?"

"Didn't go today; I just wanted to relax for the day and not worry about anything else"

He stretched his arms and positioned into meditating again "Ok then I'll go now since your thing..." I let myself out. I closed the door behind me, and a sudden rumble growled in my stomach "I'm hungry..." I would go back in but I'm scared that Baekho would go all Bruce Lee on me again

I hurriedly came home but bumped into a person "Argh hey why the hell are you standing in e middle of the street

"Hmm?" The blonde guy turned around holding and a lollipop 'it's the same person I bumped into this morning'

The dull expression on his face lightened up when he saw me. He took out his rainbow lolly stick out of his mouth and pointed at me "You're the cool guy I met this morning!"

I scoffed "And you’re the guy who I thought was a girl" He didn't react until a second or two and said "Thank you." He kept on staring at me so I flicked his forehead hard and he came back to reality

"What are you doing here? Aren't you with your little spoilt girlfriend or to the city, where you belong?"

"She's not my girlfriend. She's just a friend, and I came here to find the candy tree" I blankly looked at him and around the place "Wtf are you on about kid"

"My friend said that there are candies on one of the trees"

"Is your friend that girl?"

"She's not that girl her name is-" "Yeah yeah yeah whatever" before he couldn't even finish his sentence I butted in. I couldn't really care less about her name or anything about her

"All I know is that you just got tricked by your friend. Do you think us poor people can even grow let alone plant a tree with or without candy? Just go home kid you don't belong here" I push the guy aside and headed home. The sun went down and I was still starving

"Here I got the nails” I went in where I first came out, I stood on the top of the sofa while Aron was sleeping below me. He blinked a bit and was startled that I appeared right in front of his eyes "Woah you scared me" He rubbed his eyes and got up so I could finally jump down and sit

"I got the nails" He looked at them

"They look new..where did you get this?"

"I got it from Baekho's place, you should be happy I got the nails. You know how painful it was to get it from him? Here look" I showed him the bruises on my arms "And I think he whacked me in the as well..you wanna se-" I stood up and jokingly pulled down my pants down in front of him

"Don't even think about it" He kicked my rear end and went back to sleep. I placed the nails on the side of the door and heard a sudden *clink* outside. I thought it was an intruder so I peeked out of the window and saw that blonde guy

"Aish not you again" I went out the doorway and caught him

"Not him what?" Aron hyung asked

I grunted as I carried him in (he's so skinny but he's heavy as! .. )

I answer Aron, “Him" I dropped him down and he gazed around the room

"Woah you place is.."

"A dump? I know"

"So magical" He cupped his face and ran around the room. It makes me think. What is wrong with this kid?

"Who's this guy?" Aron pointed. He was the only clueless one here

"I don't know his name. We just bumped into each other this morning"

"Oh is this the person who called you an idiot?"

"Why would I call him that?" He looked mad when Aron assumed he called me an idiot "Oh. My name is Ren. Nice to meet you" He bowed politely and stared into space after getting up

"Aren't you supposed to be with your guards or something?" I leaned against the wall folding my arms "I just wanted to see where you live. And no I came alone, I don't like guards following me around" After it was awkward silent until Aron broke the silence

"It's getting dark I think you should go home now"

"Naw but I wanna hang around here more"

"Just go we'll see you another time jeez.." I pushed Ren outside as he said his goodbyes afterwards

*sighs just when I thought we had some peace and quiet "Hey again" Ren popped out of nowhere and gave us a candy each "Thank you for having me here, bye bye" Hopefully he went home this time and now there's silence in the room "He's a pretty decent guy" Hyung said eating his lolly happily "Really? I think he's annoying and gullible” The thought of him thinking there's a candy tree cracked me up "What are you laughing at?" He smiled and nudged my arm "Ah... Nothing important let’s just head to bed"
