Hello! I’m Berit, I’ve always enjoyed writing, and now this’ll be one of my larger projects. This K-7MiH will consist of multiple boy groups, probably also girl groups, as well as solo artists. They will be written by me spontaneously or as requested by others.  I hope you will all like what I post here, and I will strive to satisfy each and every one of you with the words written.

Prologue:

Your name is Baek Dahyun. You’re 18 years old, and the daughter of a coordi-noona. You basically grew up nursed into the celebrity world, so to meet idols wasn’t really that exciting. You had learnt that they were just normal people. Well, except for their skillful dancing and beautiful singing. And that part of the idols, you really respected.

Today was the rehearsal day of a big show, and many different idol groups from separate entertainment companies were present in the arena area. The whole first quarter of today had been dedicated to greeting each other. Later this evening would be queued for practice.

There were a lot of pressure hanging on the idols' shoulders. It was time to take their first footsteps on this really ing huge stage. Of course they’d be jumpy and nervous, even if they’re experienced.

You were heading towards the dance studio where every idol group were gathered, chit chatting, having their first break in a few tough hours. Your job today as the assistant of your mother was just to look out for them. Thus, you came dragging a huge load of water bottles on a carriage.

As you entered the studio an immediate cheer met your ears and people started passing around the bottles. You bowed gratefully to each and every one of them, feeling slightly oppressed in the presence of all the very important people.

“Thanks!” people shouted from across the room. You bowed once again.

Suddenly, you noticed a certain boy stood directly in front of you. He patted your shoulder, leaned forwards and stared you straight in the eye.

“This is something I really needed,” he then chuckled, flashing his teeth in an oh-so-gorgeous smile.

Kim Jonghyun. You kinda bet he was expecting you to flail around and blush up, like most of his fans’d do, but you just bowed again and thanked him.

He pouted.

“Don’t be so stiff.”

“You’re scaring her,” Key butted in.

“She’s the daughter of a coordi-noona, that doesn’t mean she knows who you are,” Jaejoong sneered.

“Then…good bye.” You started to back out of the room with the carriage when Jonghyun once again grabbed a hold of your shoulders.

“Don’t you know who I am?” he actually looked genuinely hurt.

Glancing around at the burning stares of the others, it was obvious that particularly Key had you basically choked under his gaze.

You really wanted to get out of here by now. Mumbling the answer, you tried to scarper again.

"Kim Jonghyun."

“Did you say something?” Jonghyun kept his firm grip and tugged your body back towards him.

“…SHINee’s Kim Jonghyun,” you repeated.

He stepped back. Everyone around you had creeping smiles on their faces, grinning triumphantly.

“See! She is interested in K-Pop!” Jonghyun cheered.

“Could’ve just been you,” a tall but slightly baby-faced boy whined from the back. You recognized his voice in an instant.

“Block B’s Pyo Jihoon.”

The room went silent. What were you doing? How did this come to be a guessing game? Why are you even doing this, it’s not like you’ll win something.

Another idol pointed to himself, clearing his throat.

“MBLAQ’s P-park Sanghyun.” You stammered.

“…Woah.” Jonghyun tilted his head and laid his hand on your cheek. “This girl knows your real names. Must be a fan?” The latter statement was more of directed as a question towards you.

The heavy air had became too much. You snapped - and bowed down to 90 degrees with your hands curled up to fists by your hips.

“My name is Baek Daehyun, 93-line! Daughter of a coordi-noona! I listen to K-pop but I really only see every one of you in a light of respect! Please forgive me for interrupting you!”

Clap. Clap. Clap, clap, clap.

“She’s interesting!”

The room had erupted in applause. Your eyes darted around, succumbing the wonderful feeling of being praised. Even though you didn’t know why.

The evening continued with an excessive amount of chatting, including the previous guessing games. You never once failed, but… shouldn’t that be kind of scary for them? Even so, they kept their smiles, and actually seemed intrigued.

You had loosened up a lot. It’s like you had found a whole new bunch of friends. Yesung, Himchan and Yunho were the ones you got along with the best. Seulong and you kept fighting over the littlest of things.  Gongchan was already like a little brother for you to protect.

And... in the middle of the utopia you had entered, this devil out of the blue decided that he had a “super-mega-awesome-daebak-idea”.

“You guys… It’s past 8 p.m. Let’s turn the entertainment up a little.”

Jonghyun stood up on a chair, flashing his cell phone in the air.

“This app will randomly select a name. The chosen one… has to go inside that closet over there-“ he pointed to a dark corner of the room where a robust door could be seen “-and stay inside with Dahyun for seven minutes. During this time period, everything is allowed.”

What. The. Glorious. .

You were the only one that wanted to object, it seemed, as everyone else now gathered a chair of their own and sat down in an uneven circle, surrounding Jonghyun.

“Alright, let’s start!” he beamed, and pressed the button of your life’s end on his cell phone, which read shuffle.
