Chapter One

“Hyunjae, good morning” Eunmi greeted as she saw Hyunjae entering the school gates. “Good Morning Eunmi ^^” Hyunjae greeted back “I heard that you yelled at a guy yesterday for bullying a girl classmate” said Eunmi “Yeah, I felt so scared” Hyunjae responded then Eunmi patted her on the head and said “Don’t worry, you did the right thing” and Hyunjae gave her a smile

When they arrived at their classroom, “Good Morning Ms. Hyunjae” her classmates greeted her “Good Morning ^^” Hyunjae greeted back and gave them a smile then she went to her seat

“Hyunjae-ssi is really kind isn’t she?” “Not only that, she also helps those who are in distress” “Yesterday I saw her yelling at a guy because he was bullying her girl classmate” “Oh, that’s our tough princess for you”

The murmurs of her classmates reached Hyunjae’s ears and she felt uncomfortable then “Hyunjae, I heard that we’re going to have new classmates today again” Eunmi said as she looked outside the window “Really? I wonder what kind of people are they?” Hyunjae responded “We’ll find it out now” Eunmi said as she pointed at a car that just parked in front of the school gate. Hyunjae looked outside as well and there were a lot of girls in front of the car. “Guess they’re someone famous” said Eunmi “Uh” said Hyunjae.

The car doors opened and out came two good looking guys. The girls started screaming “Tch, idiots” Eunmi mumbled. Hyunjae looked at them and the one who had short hair looked up and saw her “Uh?” she wondered.

                When the bell rang, the students went back to their seats and the teacher entered the room. “Good morning class, as you are all aware, today we have new students so please take care of them” the teacher said. The two guys introduced themselves to everyone

“Nice to meet you, I’m Choi Minki but you guys can call me Ren, okay? Please take care of me” the guy with blonde hair said

“I’m Hwang Minhyun, nice to meet you” the other one said with an expressionless face but still, the girls found it cool.

“Okay, then the two of you please go to your seats” the teacher said and they nodded their heads. Ren sat next to Hyunjae while Minhyun was behind her, Ren turned to Hyunjae and gave her a smile

“Please take care of me” he said “Uh” Hyunjae said then she smiled and nodded her head “Tch” said Minhyun.

During lunch time, the two guys were immediately surrounded by girls “Argh, it’s really annoying” Eunmi mumbled “Yeah, but we can’t help it, they’re famous and new here” said Hyunjae then “Say Hyunjae, go and tell them to shut up” said Eunmi “E-Eh?” Hyunjae wondered “Go on, it’s practice. You can do it” said Eunmi “O-Okay then” Hyunjae responded as she felt a little nervous then she went to where the crowd was and when the girls were aware of her presence, they kept quiet and stayed behind the guys

“I’m sorry for suddenly disturbing your fun but we are at a school, not in a market so please minimize your voices. You are disturbing the other classes” she said “Okay Hyunjae-ssi” the girls responded “Thank you” Hyunjae said as she was about to leave but then

“Really? I don’t mind if they’re being noisy” Minhyun inserted “Uh?” all of them wondered. Hyunjae turned to him and he stood up and went near her “Who do you think you are to tell us what to do?” he added

“Oh no, this is bad. He looks really scary, no, someone help me (TT__TT)” Hyunjae cried in her thoughts. She turned to Eunmi and saw her signal that said ‘talk back’

Hyunjae released a sigh then she turned to Minhyun “As your class representative, I have the authority to tell you guys to keep quiet since you are bothering the other classes” Hyunjae talked back. Minhyun smirked then “I don’t care if you’re the class rep or the chairman’s daughter, to think that you can actually order people around, why that’s just-” but before he could continue to talk, Hyunjae suddenly slapped him which made everyone shocked

“Oh no” both Ren and Eunmi said “Minhyun, are you okay?” Ren asked

“Oh no, I slapped him, he’s going to get mad. Oh no, shoot! But I can’t cry now, not with all these people watching us, oh shooooooot!” Hyunjae thought. Minhyun suddenly got pissed and he turned to her “Why you” he said but then “Hyunjae! Let’s go!” Eunmi proclaimed as she grabbed Hyunjae’s hand and pulled her outside the classroom

“Uh?” the others wondered

“What was that? Why did Hyunjae-ssi suddenly slap Minhyun oppa?” “Well he deserved it since he talked back” “But still it was wrong” “I hope there won’t be a fight”

Ren went near Minhyun who seemed surprised of what happened “Hey are you okay?” he asked “Yeah, I’m fine” Minhyun responded then he left the room.

                Meanwhile, at the rooftop “I’M SORRY! (TT ____ TT)” Hyunjae proclaimed as she was crying on Eunmi’s shoulder “There there, you only did that because he talked back” said Eunmi “But I shouldn’t have slapped him. It was wrong, I’m sorry! T_T” Hyunjae cried once more

“Really, you’re unbelievable Hyunjae” Eunmi said as she patted her on the head. When Hyunjae was done crying “Why don’t we go to the cafeteria and eat lunch?” Eunmi suggested “Okay” Hyunjae responded and the two went downstairs.

On Minhyun’s way back to the classroom, he saw Eunmi and Hyunjae together “That girl” he said as he was going to approach her but then he noticed something, Hyunjae was smiling like a kid. In fact, she was very childish around Eunmi and that was a side of her that Minhyun did not expect to see “Oh?” he said as he smirked.

                At the cafeteria, “Here you go, your favorite” Eunmi said as she gave Hyunjae a plate filled with lasagna and another plate of chocolate cake “Thank you Eunmi ^^” she said and Eunmi smiled back at her.

While they were eating “Hey Eunmi, is it really okay?” Hyunjae asked “Huh?” Eunmi wondered. “That guy, Hwang Minhyun, is it really okay if I don’t apologize to him?” Hyunjae asked again. “Actually, you should apologize to him” said Eunmi “EH!?” Hyunjae proclaimed “But not right now of course, I’m afraid that if you apologize right away, you’ll cry” said Eunmi “O-Oh” said Hyunjae. “You know what Hyunjae, you better watch out for that guy. It’s dangerous if he finds out that real side of yours” Eunmi added “Okay!” Hyunjae proclaimed

“Look, it’s Im Hyunjae and Park Eunmi” “They’re best friends right? But isn’t Eunmi-ssi kind of like a delinquent?” “Nah, with that face of hers? She’s not a delinquent, but I heard she acts like a guy though and is very strong” “She was once the captain of the karate club during middle school, right?” “Yup2x” “Wow, those two look great, they kind of look like princesses” –students

“Seriously, when will they stop talking about me being a delinquent? (=_=)” Eunmi murmured and Hyunjae let out a chuckle “Yah, it’s not funny!” Eunmi proclaimed “I know, I’m sorry ^^” Hyunjae responded.

After lunch, they headed back to their classrooms, during class, Hyunjae would feel a scary aura behind her. Whenever she would try to look back, Minhyun would give her a scary glare and she would turn away immediately

“This is really bad, he’s definitely angry (T_T)” she said in her thoughts then

“Hey seatmate” Ren said and she turned to him “Don’t worry, Minhyun isn’t angry, okay?” said Ren “I see” Hyunjae said

“That’s easy for you to say, you’re not the one who slapped him (T^T)” she said in her thoughts once more.

                After class, when Hyunjae was about to leave, she accidentally bumped into someone “Oh, I’m sorry” she apologized without looking at the person but then “Hey” the guy said, she turned to him and realized that it was actually Minhyun whom she bumped in to

“Oh no, it’s him! What do I do?” Hyunjae was starting to get worried because Minhyun was staring at her “Hey you, what’s your problem? Why are you avoiding my eyes?” Minhyun said “Because I don’t like them” Hyunjae responded “Oh shoot, wrong response (>.<)”

“Is that so?” Minhyun said then he smirked and continued to stare at her. “Please stop doing that” Hyunjae said as she was trying to push Minhyun away but he wouldn’t move “Look at me first” he said “No way!” she proclaimed “Tch, not cute at all” Hyunjae murmured “And who says I want to be cute for you? Jerk” Hyunjae said then she forcefully pushed him aside and went out of the room

“What’s with her?” Minhyun said then “Looks like you’re going to make another girl fall for you” Ren inserted “Eh? Well if she confesses then I’ll reject her of course” said Minhyun suddenly

“HA! Don’t be so full of yourself, you’re not even Hyunjae’s type!” Eunmi proclaimed and the two guys turned to her “Uh? Who are you?” Minhyun asked “None of your business, anyway, if you do something to Hyunjae you’re dead meat, got that?” Eunmi added then she left

“Who was that girl?” Ren asked, Minhyun then remembered the girl whom Hyunjae was with on their way downstairs to the cafeteria “Must be her best friend” he replied “Oh” Ren said.

                In Hyunjae’s case, she decided to go to the Counselor’s room. She knocked on the door and opened it. She saw the counselor sitting on his chair and reading a book

“Oppa, are you busy?” she asked
“Uh? Hyunjae? Not really, come in” the counselor replied. Hyunjae closed the door and sat in front of him. He put his book down and paid attention to her “So what brings you here my dear sister?” the counselor asked. Hyunjae released a huge sigh then

“SIWAN OPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA (TT ^ TT)” she cried.

Moment later, “I see. You slapped a guy but didn’t mean it and you also pushed him away a while ago huh?” Siwan said and Hyunjae nodded her head. “But Hyunjae, I don’t think that you should cry about that I mean, you did those things because he was being mean to you right?” Siwan said “Yes but I made him angry and I feel really guilty” Hyunjae responded “Then why don’t you apologize?” Siwan suggested “He’s scary and I might cry if I apologize to him T^T” Hyunjae responded

“Eh? Seriously, how about this, If you apologize without revealing your real self to him, I’ll cook your favorite meals tonight” Siwan suggested

“Eh? Really!?” Hyunjae proclaimed as her eyes started to sparkle

“Yup ^^” Siwan responded then “Okay, I’ll go apologize to him!” Hyunjae proclaimed and she left. “Heh, still a kid” Siwan said to himself then he continued to read his book.

Hyunjae went back to the classroom to look for Minhyun but when she got there, “Oh Minhyun, he left a while ago with a girl. I think she’s going to confess to him, it’s still our first day here but we already received a lot of confessions ^^” Ren said “Oh I see. Thank you for your response” Hyunjae said as she was about to leave but then

“Wait! I think the girl said something about going to the school garden, maybe they’re there” said Ren

“Really? Okay, thank you!” Hyunjae proclaimed then she gave Ren a smile and left “Uh? Heh” he said.

                Hyunjae went to the school garden located at the back part of the school. It was a perfect place for confession and a lot of lovers often stay there after class. She was looking around when suddenly she bumped into a girl who was crying

“Uh? Are you okay?” she asked as she felt a bit worried “I-I’m fine” the girl replied “Are you sure? Who made you cry?” she asked once more but before the girl could reply, Minhyun inserted and said “I did” “Uh?” Hyunjae wondered as she turned to him then the girl suddenly left

“Wait!” she said but the girl was already gone then she turned to Minhyun “What did you do to her?” she asked in a serious tone

“She confessed to me and I rejected her and then she started crying. End of story” Minhyun replied “What did you say to her?” Hyunjae questioned
“I only said ‘sorry, I don’t feel the same way’ and after that she started crying. Jeez, I really hate those kinds of girls. They seriously make me sick, just because the person they like rejects them they get to cry like that all of the sudden, it’s really annoying you know” said Minhyun then

PACK! He was slapped again by Hyunjae and it surprised him. “You…” he said as he turned to her “I came looking for you to apologize to you because of what I did during lunch break, but it seems like you deserve to get slapped again. Hurting a girl’s feelings like that and calling her annoying, what the heck!?” Hyunjae proclaimed then she suddenly ran off

“What the? Hey wait!” Minhyun said and he ran after her.

                Hyunjae ran as fast as she could and when she reached the roof top, “Argh!” she proclaimed as she was panting, she looked around and no one was there then she suddenly threw herself on the floor

“Seriously, what’s with that guy?” she said to herself. She felt like she was about to cry because she was scared and at the same time, mad at Minhyun. She grabbed her bag and got something out from it. It was a diary, she grabbed a pen and opened the diary and started writing

Dear Diary

                Today was a really rough day for me. Two new students suddenly entered the academy and both of them are famous. The one who looks like a girl seemed like an okay guy since he talked to me and smiled at me even but the other one, well I hate him! Yes, I know it’s wrong to hate a person but I simply don’t like him. First of all, he talked back at me and I slapped him. Yes, I slapped him and I was really scared when I did that because he was really angry. But I was also angry too since he talked back but still, what I did was improper and so I was thinking of apologizing to him but I was scared because if I apologize to him immediately, I might cry and reveal this real side of me. I went to oppa to ask for some advice and he said that if I apologize to that guy, he’ll cook me my favorite meals tonight and so I agreed.

I went looking for that guy to apologize to him but then he did something that made me really mad and that was to make a girl cry. He even called the girl annoying. I know that I am someone who has not confessed to the person I like yet but I am still a girl and I understand how that girl was courageous enough to confess to him but he just called her annoying. It made me really mad so I slapped him again and I also yelled at him

Waaaah~ I really feel uncomfortable. My chest hurts and I’m tired from running. I really want to cry right now (TT ^ TT)

-Hyunjae

“Then why don’t you cry?”

Hyunjae was surprised to hear that voice, she turned around and realized that Minhyun was right behind her and he was reading what she wrote on her diary. She immediately pushed him away and closed the diary

“You… did you just read everything!?” she proclaimed “Yup” Minhyun replied then he went near her and smirked “I knew it, you were hiding something” he added “U-Uh” Hyunjae said “Not good, I’ve been found out (T^T)”

“So our tough princess isn’t really tough but is actually a scaredy-cat huh?” Minhyun said and Hyunjae just kept quiet. Minhyun went near her and gave her a smirk

“Say princess, what do you think will happen if everyone knew your real side? Will they still respect you just like now or will they make fun of you instead? I wonder” he said “P-Please… don’t tell anyone” Hyunjae pleaded “Oh? You know, I don’t do favors without an exchange” said Minhyun “Then I’ll give you anything you want, please, just don’t spill my secret” said Hyunjae

Minhyun then touched her hair and looked at her caressed it “Anything huh?” he said “Yes, anything” Hyunjae responded. Minhyun smirked then he turned to her “Then become mine” he said

“W-What?” Hyunjae was shocked of what she heard and she suddenly felt her heart beating fast and she was getting teary “What? If you don’t want to agree then I’ll-” “I’ll do it!” she proclaimed “Uh?” Minhyun wondered then he smirked and patted her on the head “Good”

                Moments later, “So you keep this image up so that you won’t ruin the chairman’s image huh?” Minhyun said and Hyunjae nodded her head in response “Heh, stupid. What kind of father would force her daughter to become perfect?” he said “He didn’t force me, I did it out of my own will” said Hyunjae “Huh?” Minhyun said as he turned to her “My father, because of him, I was able to live a life like this and I feel really indebt to him so that’s why I should become a perfect daughter for him to be proud of me” said Hyunjae

“In debt? Perfect daughter? Tch, I think that reason of yours is too stupid” said Minhyun “Eh?” Hyunjae wondered as she turned to him

Minhyun stood up and looked at the sky and said “You don’t have to feel in debt since he is your father and that is a parent’s job to do everything for their child” “Uh” said Hyunjae

“Hey” Minhyun said and he turned to her “I’ll help you become strong so you won’t have to force yourself to act tough, how’s that?” he added. Hyunjae was shocked and at the same time happy because of what Minhyun said

“R-Really?” she said, “Yup but I won’t do it for free, remember, you are MINE. Got that?” said Minhyun “Uh, yes (TT ^ TT)” Hyunjae responded “Heh, well I’ll see you tomorrow princess” he said as he was about to leave but then Hyunjae grabbed his hand and stopped him

“What?” he said as he turned to her then “I-I’M SORRY!” Hyunjae proclaimed and she started to cry and Minhyun went (.____.?)

“Ha?” he said “I’m sorry because I slapped you earlier twice, I really didn’t mean it but you made me angry but still, I shouldn’t have slapped you. But I was really mad but-”

“Will you cut that out? It’s really annoying” Minhyun cut her off and she looked up to him “Like I said before, I find it annoying when a girl cries so don’t easily cry okay?” he said with a scary voice and Hyunjae nodded her head but tears would still continue to come out from her eyes. Minhyun released a sigh and wiped the tears away “Princesses shouldn’t cry as well, it ruins their image” he said with a gentle voice which made Hyunjae blush then

“Ah! Hyunjae, there you are!” Eunmi suddenly came and when she saw the two together and Hyunjae crying “Uh? WHY YOU BASTARD!” she proclaimed as she went near Minhyun and punched him

“WHAT DID I TELL YOU BEFORE THAT IF YOU MADE HYUNJAE CRY, YOU’RE DEAD MEAT!” she added as she turned into a scary monster then “Eunmi, calm down, Minhyun didn’t do anything to me” said Hyunjae “Uh?” Eunmi wondered then “Well if Hyunjae says so then okay ^^” she added as she turned into a girl all of the sudden

“What the heck?” Minhyun mumbled as he sat up “Are you okay?” Hyunjae asked as she offered her hand to him “Yeah, I’m fine. That gorilla girl punched me hard though, hey, are you sure you’re a girl?” Minhyun responded

“(^’_‘^) what did you say?” Eunmi said as she grabbed his collar and pulled him up but she was still wearing a smile but it was an angry smile

“N-Nothing” Minhyun responded “Good” Eunmi said then she out him down and went near Hyunjae “Why are the two of you here anyway?” she asked “Well…” Hyunjae said and she told her everything

                Moments later “WHAT!?” Eunmi proclaimed “Hyunjae, didn’t I tell you that he should be the last person to find out about your real side!? Omo, what do I do? My dear Hyunjae is now in the clutches of this demon king!” she added as she pointed her index finger at Minhyun “Demon king?” Minhyun wondered

“B-But Eunmi, he said that he’ll help me become stronger” said Hyunjae “Eh? Is that so?” Eunmi wondered and Hyunjae nodded her head. Eunmi released a sigh and said “Fine, but if he hurts you just tell me okay? I’ll pulverize him! (◣‿◢)” “O-Okay (^^||)” Hyunjae responded

Eunmi then turned to Minhyun and gave him a glare “Uh?” he said

“Hwang Minhyun, if you hurt Hyunjae you’re dead, got that?” she said “Yeah2x, I know that already” said Minhyun “Tch” said Eunmi then

“Oh Minhyun, there you are” Ren inserted as he went near them “Uh?” they wondered “Oh, you’re here with Eunmi and seatmate Hyunjae” he added then he noticed that Hyunjae’s eyes were teary

“Oh no, did you make her cry?” he asked “Actually, I-” “She got dust stuck on both of her eyes and that’s why it looks like she’s crying but she wasn’t, okay?” Minhyun replied

“Uh?” both Hyunjae and Eunmi wondered “I see, well let’s go home already~” said Ren “Okay” said Minhyun “We’ll see you tomorrow seatmate Hyunjae and Eunmi-ssi” Ren said, Hyunjae turned to Minhyun and Minhyun gave her an evil grin “See you tomorrow, princess” he added and the two left

“I don’t know why, but that girl-look-a-like Ren is starting to get on my nerves” said Eunmi “Uh... hm” said Hyunjae “Eh? Are you okay?” she asked and Hyunjae nodded her head “I’m fine!” she added as she showed Eunmi her smile.

Dear Diary,

                My new classmate, Hwang Minhyun, found out about my real side and he agreed that he won’t tell my secret if I become ‘his’. I don’t know what he meant by that but I bet that he wants me to become his slave (TT ^ TT) but he also said that he’ll help me become strong so I guess it’s okay right? He will keep my secret and help me become strong as long as I become his slave *sigh* it sounds so wrong but what can I do? I was too careless and I wasn’t able to protect my real side but… I guess what he said about helping me was really true because a while ago, his friend Ren saw us and he saw me with teary eyes, I was going to tell him the truth but then Minhyun lied to him. I was pretty shocked and at the same time happy… but before they left, he gave me an evil grin and I couldn’t help but think that something awful is going to happen tomorrow...

She released a sigh and closed her diary then she placed it under her pillow, she lied down and looked at the ceiling “Tomorrow… I wonder what’s going to happen tomorrow?” she said then she closed her eyes and went to sleep.
