Jiyeon answered the phone, “Hello?”

The husky voice replied, “Uh…is this…Jiyeon?”

“Yes it is. Who is this?”

Jaebum sighed and pushed the tape into the VCR as the screen showed the image of Sora sitting alone in the room, watching the hole through something that cannot show or tell in the video. Jaebum was curious and wondered what Sora was doing in the room. Few minutes later, he heard her voice spoke out as she grunted with anger, “What should I do? What should I do?”

Jaebum has no idea what Sora was talking about as he continued to watch Sora pulling her cellphone and dialled numbers to contact someone he does not know. Sora sighed, “Oppa. Can I ask you for a favour?”

“Oppa…I know what you have been doing lately. They already know and we are seriously need to track you down.”

“Oppa, I didn’t mean to catch you if I betray you.”

“No, oppa. I was thinking…if we can make a plan.”

“Why? I want to.”

“I don’t care if I got caught. I don’t want to lose something I wanted.”

“I’m not crazy. I just want my love. Jiyeon is stealing him away, I don’t want to lose him.”

Another scene came out quickly as it showed Sora gossiping something to other workers and team mates, including Jaebum himself without Jiyeon around. Jaebum realized that Sora wasn’t like this kind of girl he knows but he couldn’t believe this could happened in the past. And then suddenly the scene went blank as he heard the noisy background and the girl’s voice that Jaebum is familiar with spoke out, “Oppa. It’s worked. Jiyeon quitted the job. I got Jaebum. He accepted me.”

Jaebum started to picture the past memory of Sora and Jaebum sitting together on the rocks beside the elephant playground. Sora and Jaebum were smiling at each other and Sora started to blush as she confessed her feelings to him, “Jaebum. I like you as my lover. I mean…like a boyfriend. I don’t know if you have feelings for me. But I understand that our age is kinda a big difference. I know I’m just a noona to you but I want to be your only girl.”

Jaebum smiled, “Noona, I like you too. I really like you.”

Sora’s heart fluttered and smiled widely at Jaebum.

Back to the present, Jaebum blinked his eyes as he continued to listen the recorder the next one, “Oppa, I got urgent news for you. I want you to get out where you are. They found the place. They knew. Go to the Seoul International Airport and I will meet you there. I will give you ticket and the information we had. Hurry.”

Jaebum’s heart sank again as he realized that the memory stuck his head with a blast and remembered he almost got that guy. He didn’t know that Sora has this connection with that guy he almost caught him. Blurry white snows appeared in his eyes and he was standing and talking at the same time. He was anxious and angry while he talked to one of his team mates and pointed his finger at the map. “This place. We need to catch him right now. Otherwise, we would be troubled if he will do something next. Let’s go.”

The team mate nodded and they both got into the car and drove the way to the place quickly. When they both arrived at the old warehouse covered with snows and they pulled their guns out and ready to prepare themselves for defence and ready to catch him. However, the gang were there at the same time as they arrived the place, the gang was ready to fight with fierce looks and so they both had to fight against the gang. During the fight, his team mate finished fighting as he ran into the warehouse, searching the culprit and then he ran back to Jaebum. Jaebum was too busy fighting and defending himself from the tall and big black guy. His team mate decided to fight as he picked the hard wood and hits on the black guy’s back and the black guy collapsed himself. Jaebum panted deeply and his team mate said panicky, “Hyung. He is not here. He already left.”

Jaebum grunted with anger and kicked the black guy’s leg, “DAMN IT! He already knew us coming.”

“Hyung, what can we do?”

“I don’t know….what does he doing now?”

Suddenly the phone rang and Jaebum answered quickly, “Hello?”

A female voice shouted through Jaebum’s ear like a noisy fangirl, “Oppa! It’s Jiyeon.”

“Oh Jiyeon…what’s now? I’m busy now.”

“I have urgent news to tell you.”

“What is it? I don’t have time now.”

“Kang Ahjusshi is now at airport, leaving to USA at 8.45AM. You got 10 minutes left. Go to Seoul International Airport now.”

As Jiyeon was about to tell him, Jaebum hung the phone up and told his team mate to go to Seoul Airport. When they arrived at the Seoul International Airport, they got followed by the new groups of army polices and Jaebum instructed them to go wherever they could find the culprit before the time of the flight. Jaebum looked at the time and he got at least 5 minutes and he couldn’t calm himself so he ran around the airport like a mad man.

4 minutes, he ran into the men’s bathroom and scanned each door carefully and then ran out of the bathroom as he ran forth to the security place.

3 minutes, Jaebum got bumped by his team mate and asked him, “Do you find him?”

He shook his head and replied, “There are too many people around her. He must be disguising himself.”

“He must be. Better observe them quickly. Catch him as soon as possible.”

2 minutes, he panted and panted as he ran up on the stairs and looked around the place and then ran to the terminal where the culprit was going.

1 minute, he arrived at the terminal and scanned the room cautiously and his tears of sweat soaked his shirt with a strange smell.

30 seconds, his eyes were like an eagle preying on his precious food and ta-da, he got the prize in front of his eyes.

20 seconds, he started to yell at the culprit who was on the way to the terminal and the culprit turned around with a shocked face.

10 seconds, he ran towards the culprit to catch him however the culprit quickly gave the ticket and went inside as the same time he got bumped by the girl who spilled the ice cream.

5 seconds, he bowed at the girl who was crying and tried to comfort her, “I’m sorry, little girl. I will buy you a new ice cream. How’s that sound?”

1 second, he looked at the gate of the terminal and felt disappointed in himself for not catching the culprit.

Again back to the present, he scuffed his hair and opened his mouth without making sounds; he couldn’t believe that Sora was the one who was involved in this case he is still working on one of the cases. The last one that recorded in the tape and he continued to listen as the husky and manly voice speaks out, “Hello?”

Sora’s voice sighed in relief, “Oppa, I thought you won’t answer me.”

“I won’t. What’s up?

“Boss found out about it.”

Jiyeon got bragged by her close friend, Hyomin to the popular club in Hongdae and Jiyeon got annoyed by saying it to Hyomin, “Unnie! I don’t want to go there.”

On the other side, Sora invited her boyfriend and team mates in the same club in Hongdae. Jaebum smiled a little at Sora and Sora smiled with concerns, “Jaebum, I know you are busy and tired. But this club will help you relieve the stress. We, all, should celebrate the party time today, right?”

Minho nodded, “Yeah, noona! Let’s cheer up, buddies!”

They all drank the alcohol and then one of the team mates asked with curious while looking at a familiar, slim girl with brownish hair, a black short dress with hot black high heels. “Is that…Jiyeon-shii? Park Jiyeon-shii?”

Sora was surprised and looked at a girl but she couldn’t find her somewhere and scoffed, “Jinyoung! You got a bad problem with your eyesight.”

Jaebum also looked at the dance room, searching Jiyeon with his panicking heart and then he saw her dancing with a wavy hair model-like girl with golden tight dress with high heels, too. She pointed her finger and whispered something to Jiyeon and Jiyeon looked up to someone from the live performance. He saw the boys playing and he thinks he saw the guy with cat’s look playing the red guitar, smirking at Jiyeon perhaps. He doesn’t feel good about it and Sora patted on his shoulder and asked him, “Jaebum, are you okay?”

Jaebum started to restore himself and nodded, “I’m fine. Just the case I’m still thinking of.”

“Hey, there is no time to think about the cases. Now, we are just having fun, no thoughts about the cases, right?”

Sora smiled at each person around the table and then pecked a kiss on Jaebum’s cheek and she left. At the same time she left, they all received the texts from the boss and read it, “Follow Sora. She got the connection with the long lost culprit. Now.”

Jaebum had a feeling about bad signs and Jinyoung asked, “I don’t get it. Why did Sora noona tell us that she was going to meet boss?”

Jaebum sighed, “Sora lied to us again. She betrayed us for long time. She is a spy now.”

Then he still didn’t answer it and the boss came into the scene of serious place and Sora glared with anger at the boss. The boss cleared his throat and said politely with scary tone, “Kang Sora-shii, you are now banned and now going to jail for your lifetime. You are arrested for betraying us, making schemes, killing people behind our backs, sending one of our old employees and sending information to reveal in public to someone you know.”

Sora stuttered and pointed her finger at the boss and Jaebum, “You…you….YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME!”

Jaebum’s heart felt regretful and his eyes show sorrowful and remorseful. Then two secret polices came into the room and took Sora out to the jail and Sora was struggling herself to be free and yelling at them at the same time. All of the people in the company watched the scene of Sora being taken away by two secret polices and they were gossiping and looked angry to Sora.

The boss sighed and patted on Jaebum’s shoulder, “I’m sorry, Jaebum. I had to do this otherwise the future could have been ruined like before. I’m sorry for breaking you two apart.”

Jaebum gulped while forming sad tears, “Boss, can I ask you something?”

“Yes. You can. If you want to keep your relationship with Sora, you can go and visit her if you have time. But I cannot control people out there gossiping bad things about you. I don’t want you to be hurt like someone I know, affected this bad thing before.”

“Who was that person?”

The boss didn’t reply with an answer and he looked serious and quiet and remorseful. Jaebum looked at the boss and tried to see the feelings inside the boss’ eyes and faces however he couldn’t. So Jaebum asked the same question again. The boss sighed, “Someone you know. An amazing girl brought us laughter, happiness and independence and freedom when she was with us. But…she is not here with us anymore.”

Day by day went by, Jinyoung groaned and rubbed his stomach while begging Jaebum and Minho, “Hyung!! I’m so hungry. I want to eat right now. Aigoo~ My stomach.”

Jaebum’s hands gripped and his face showed angry as he was watching Jinyoung and Jiyeon hugging together. Jaebum grabbed Jinyoung’s back and pulled back hardly. After the boys received the food from Jiyeon, Jiyeon decided to take a break and sit on the next table besides them. She smiled, “Dongsaeng, you babo…why are you looking like this?”

A girl sighed, “I need to hide myself. These dudes are so crazy and wanted to steal me.”

When Jiyeon was about to go home, she saw Jaebum leaning onto her apartment’s door and watching her with his loveable looks. Jiyeon sighed, “Jaebum-shii, what are you doing here?”

“I’m tired and I need to go inside for sleep right now. I don’t want to wait now.”

On the next day, Jiyeon quitted her job and sighed while clutching the ticket in her hand and sitting on the chair. She started to picture Jaebum’s face in her eyes and felt her heart squeezing tightly, feeling so painful like she couldn’t able to escape easily. Two words were placed in her mind, wondered if she could send the message to him and he could have received these two words. “Goodbye, oppa.”

The train appeared with noisy background and she knew it was time for her to go. However, she heard someone called her name and she turned around and saw Jaebum running towards her. Jaebum hugged her tightly first and exaggerated with worries and pains, “Jiyeon, are you really going? Are you really leaving?”

Jiyeon nodded and sobbed at the same time, “Goodbye…oppa.”

Jiyeon was about to push him and he squeezed her tightly like he couldn’t bear to let go of her. He sniffed, “Don’t go!”

“Just let me go. You are Sora’s boyfriend. Sora is all you have.”

“No, Sora is not my girlfriend anymore. She is a criminal now.”

“Well, you have your friends who are always there for you and support you all the time. I can’t be the one now. I’m not a right girl you want. Let me go, oppa.”

“I don’t really want to lose you again.”

Jiyeon was surprised and Jaebum released the hug as he looked at Jiyeon with his sincere eyes, “I don’t really want to lose you again. Let’s run away together.”

Jiyeon stuttered, “H-hu-huh?”

Jaebum grabbed her hand and ran into the train. Jiyeon asked him, “You are going to be in trouble. Where is your ticket?”

Jaebum grinned and pulled the ticket to show her, “I already paid the ticket. I wanted to go with you. Wherever you go, I go with you all the time.”

“Oppa…don’t do this to me. What about your job? I don’t want to ruin your best life.”

“I retired for a while. You are wrong about yourself. You already ruined your life but mine hasn’t. My life is good when I’m with you.”

Jiyeon was speechless and Jaebum smiled, “I love you, Park Jiyeon. Please be my girlfriend and my wife. Let’s stick together until the end.”

He pulled out the shiny silver ring with infinite shapes linked together and kneeled at her while holding the ring. Jiyeon’s mouth opened and the crowd was watching the scene and gossiping the good things about Jaebum. She heard the oldest lady talking to the young mother with a child, “Aigoo…that boy is so brave. So handsome. That girl should accept him. Aigoo…so romantic.”

The young mother nodded with a smile, “You are right, grandmother. Nobody dare to propose in the train. But this is the first time!”

The rest of them started to chorus loudly, “ACCEPT HIM. ACCEPT HIM. ACCEPT HIM. ACCEPT HIM.”

Jaebum felt proud of himself and happy about the crowd persuading Jiyeon to accept him. Jiyeon’s head nodded slowly and her face started to blush and Jaebum’s heart jumped with joy. Jaebum placed the ring through her ring and kissed on Jiyeon’s lips. Jaebum bowed at the crowd, “Thank you people. You are the best!”

Jiyeon touched her lips and Jaebum looked at her and asked her, “What’s wrong?”

Jiyeon pouted, “Th-that’s my first kiss.”

Jaebum chuckled, “Aigoo. I’m your first kiss. I’m happy.”

“I’m not happy.”

“Really? Let me kiss you again.”

Jiyeon started to protest against him and he was too strong to her and kissed her deeply.

Deeply.

In Love.

Kissed deeply in the train.
