I tucked a few unruly strands of hair behind my ear as I took a few deep breaths. ‘I can do this.’ I told myself as I straightened my skirt. I took one last deep breath before putting on a smile and turning the corner.

There it was, the magnificent building seemed to glitter in the bright sunlight. My smile turned to a grin as I approached the building of what I hoped would be my future job, the building of YG Entertainment. I easily placed my hand upon the shiny, silver door handle and confidently gave it a soft tug.

I stopped short and gave it another tug, but it didn’t budge. I tried to pull on it a little harder but still nothing. I looked inside and found that it was locked. I checked the door next to it, it was locked too. I stared in disbelief. I blinked back a few tears. I had come all this way for this? I came all the way from my small hometown in The States. All this way, to only find out that the front doors were locked for security.

I sighed, feeling my shoulders begin to droop. I just looked down at my hand that couldn’t seem to let go of the door. Made a face at it, “traitor,” I mumbled under my breath. It finally released itself and fell to my side. I took a step back, trying to think of what to do next. What was there to do? This was the whole reason I had worked so hard.
