Mrs. Cho Kyuhyun was not something she was used to just yet. It's been a little over six months since vowed eternal love and happiness to one another. Misun only snorted. Eternal love and happiness? Ha! That was a funny line. This marriage was anything but eternal love and happiness. This relationship had no ounce of eternal love and happiness. And why is that?

Because this marriage was an arranged marriage between their grandparents. Lee Misun was once a simple girl, enjoying life to the fullest; until that woman appeared and her life just turned upside down for the worse. A promised marriage, to some uberly cliched rich brat? Who the hell does that in this day and age? Didn't we step away from some so... Ancient because we finally figured out about the term of love between two people? Well, apparently not since she wouldn't be in this situation.

Misun hardly ever saw her husband anyway. Mainly because he the moment he woke up (which was hours before she even bothered to turn over), he'd eat breakfast and head off to work. Then he'd be gone for the entire day and won't be home until the late hours at night. She'd take one side glance his way before he'd drag himself to his room turned office and never come back out.

And that annoyed her to no end.

There were times that he'd come home for dinner at least and during those times, she'd attempt to be nice and try to coax him to eating dinner with her. He'd refuse and just flat out tell her to bring it up because he still had work to do. You gotta be kidding me... She mentally sighed as she glared at the door lightly. Whatever.

And for almost half a year, it's been like that. Even the beautiful honeymoon to the Caribbean Islands was no fun. She practically celebrated that by herself (until the last day, where she got fed up with him super gluing his eyes on his laptop screen, she kicked him and forced him to go play at the beach with her for a few hours), which is really boring by the way.

But even she had to admit that he had his moments that made her smile. Apparently his mother got fed up with him as well and forced him to take a day off to spend it with his wife. At first the little outing was really awkward. Neither of them said anything and when Misun actually did open , Kyuhyun would just stare at her blankly, which caused her to completely shut and they would stay silent again. Walk around Seoul silently. What a perfect date. That was until they somehow reached a little neighborhood park. Children were playing with a giant ball and accidentally kicked it too far. It rolled over toward the unsuspecting couple and ended up hitting Kyuhyun on the leg. At first Misun thought that he'd get angry, but he surprised her big time when he picked up the ball and threw it back at the kids... With a smile. And for a few hours, both Misun and Kyuhyun played catch with those kids and that was probably the very first time she saw him smile.

That was a little over three months ago and since then, she would offhandedly try to make him smile again. But he went back to his normal routine. Get up super early, eat breakfast and hurry out of the house, then return home super late and barricading himself into his room.

“You seriously can't be working on Christmas Eve...” Misun couldn't help but wonder out loud. It was the evening before Christmas Eve and probably the first time Kyuhyun had been home the entire day, but he'd still be in his office. But for once, he actually left the room and the both of them were now eating dinner together. Looking up at her, Kyuhyun once again gave her a blank stare, but Misun only stared back, not wanting to back down this time around.

“And if I am?” he questioned, his tone rather cold. A slight taken back look appeared on Misun's face and for some reason, her chest got really heavy.

“You need a life,” was all she said and went back to silent (yet angry) eating. She didn't want to show it, but she took a weird liking to her husband and she was hoping that she could spend somehow spend Christmas Eve with him. This was going to be their very first holiday together and she wanted to try her best to make this who relationship at its best. But Kyuhyun didn't seem to want to cooperate with her at all.

Grumbling, Misun stood up once she was done eating and started to clean up. Her husband was still quietly eating, but before he could take another bite, Misun grabbed his dishes and quickly shuffled over to the kitchen. Dumping the contents in the trash, she couldn't help but peak over from the entrance way, only to find Kyuhyun still at the dinner table. She also had to hold back a laugh because of the priceless look on her bewildered husband's face was too much. It was clear as day that no one had ever done that to him before and once he finally got up and left, Misun couldn't hold back and she started laughing loudly.

As expected, her ever-so-lovable husband was once again gone, leaving her to waddle around like the lonely housewife she was. However, this time... She was going to go spend her Christmas Eve going outside. It was better than being at the house all by her lonesome self and so, she quickly got dressed and made her way outside.

Okay, maybe that wasn't such a good idea. The busy streets were flooded with last minute shoppers and not to mention, so many couples. Misun's chest got heavy once again and with a heavy heart, she continued walking.

“Aish!” she grumbled as she stopped in front of a store and gently knocked her forehead with the palm of her hand, “I can't be depressed! This isn't my fault that I got born into some weird family, who'd throw their only daughter into a rich brat's unwelcoming arms.”

Looking up and dropping her arm, Misun found herself staring at a jewelry store, her eyes landing on a rather nice looking watch. Tilting her head, she remembered that she had overheard about Kyuhyun accidentally losing his watch when he went out of town for some business conference. Since then, she never saw him wearing a watch. Biting her lip, she quickly pulled out her wallet and stared at the credit card she rarely used. Nodding her head, she awkwardly stumbled into the little shop and bought the watch.

Misun ended up doing some last minute shopping for some others; mainly for her family, along with Kyuhyun's family and something small for her friends. It was already dark by the time she was finally done shopping. The usual hustle and bustle had died down, she grabbed a bite to eat and hurried over home. However, out of nowhere, a blur ran past her, hit her and grabbed a couple of bags from her.

“What the hell?!” she gasped as she fell back and landed none too comfortably on her rear end. Wincing, Misun checked her things, only to find that the guy had grabbed Kyuhyun's Christmas gift. That caused her to explode, “You did not... YAH, GET BACK HERE YOU PUNK!”

Jumping up, Misun ran after the thief. Running down the sidewalk and dodging some unsuspecting bystanders, she finally caught up with the guy and ended up tackling him into a wet patch of grass, “Give it back! That doesn't belong to you!”

Both Misun and the thief ended up rolling down a small hill and into a large puddle of water. After struggling for a few minutes, the thief finally gave up and threw the bag into another puddle of water. Instantly she jumped off the guy and went to retrieve the bag, while the guy got up and ran.

“You're crazy!” was the last thing the thief shouted. Looking up, Misun couldn't help but laugh as she returned her attention back to the gift. The bag was dirty and ruined and once she pulled out the white box, she found it wet and ruined as well. Carefully, she removed the white (well, now it was wet and dirty) box and opened it. Much to her surprise, the watch was still okay and a relieved sigh escaped from her and she got up.

Only to have a jolt of pain to shoot through her, “Aigoo!”

Falling back down, Misun couldn't help but wince. Her ankle was killing her and it was most likely because she tackled someone. Sighing for the umpteenth time, she ended up crawling away from the water and sat there, at the bottom of some grass hill with no means of contact. She accidentally left her other bags at the spot where she got robbed and most likely, those were gone, along with her purse, which had her cellphone in it.

What a wonderful Christmas Eve... She frowned as she held Kyuhyun's gift close to her.

“...Sun! Lee Misun!”

Snapping up her head, the dull look in her eyes grew bright the moment she overheard her name, along with a familiar voice.

“Kyuhyun-ssi...” she muttered, before raising her voice, “Cho Kyuhyun! CHO KYUHYUN!”

It wasn't a second later that Kyuhyun appeared from the top of the hill. Once again, she called out his name and instantly, he dashed down the hill and was in front of her, panting.

“You crazy woman, where the hell were you?!” he barked as he fell to his knees and looked at her. Her hair was disheveled, her clothes dirty and wet and there were some dirt marks all over her. Misun merely swallowed, a guilty expression on her face as she looked down.

“I'm sorry... Cho Kyuhyun-ssi...” she muttered. Out of nowhere, Kyuhyun suddenly grabbed her and hugged her tightly, which caused Misun's eyes to widen, “Kyuhyun-ssi...”

“Stupid girl,” he whispered as he tightened his hold on her, “Do you not know how worried I was when I came home early, only to find you gone?”

“I didn't know you were capable of that...” she teased, only to have Kyuhyun pull away and glare hard, “Yah... Sorry! I got you a present... A watch...”

Kyuhyun didn't say anything; however, he ended up doing something that caught his wife off guard. Grabbing her face, he pulled her into a rather hard, yet passionate kiss. A completely different kiss that he had given to her on their wedding day. And it was a kiss that Misun only saw in those TV shows/movies... Never in her life would she believe that Kyuhyun would be the one who'd give her this kind of kiss.

She loved it.

“Kyuhyun-ssi...” she muttered his name for the umpteenth time, “You...”

“Yah... I found you...” he answered as softly as he could, “Sa-saranghae, Lee Misun...”

Misun merely smiled, “Saranghae Cho Kyuhyun...”

And if this moment couldn't get any better, it did; especially when it gently began to snow all around them.
