“Didn’t the police show up?” Manager-sshi asks.
“I already said they didn’t,” I reply a little irritated, I’d been talking to him for half an hour. Repeating things mainly.
“Maybe they’re somewhere around the hotel. Why don’t you look around?”
“Right, because I can get into every single room here, funny.” Now I was being out right disrespectful and he keeps silent a moment acknowledging this.
“Mianhae, Choi-sshi. I’m just...”
“Go to the front desk and ask for the manager of the hotel. Let me talk to him.” he cuts me off.
“Okay,” I leave my room and head down the elevator, “one minute.”
“That’s fine,” he speaks calmly.
The doors open and I walk to the front desk where a man stands behind the counter, writing on a notepad.
He looks up as I approach,
“SHINee’s Jonghyun, what can I do for you?”
“I would like to speak to the manager of the hotel, please,” I answer.
“That would be me,” he smiles.
“Oh, well then my manager would like to speak to you,” I hand over the phone and he takes it.
“Yeoboseyo?” he answers and there’s a blur of sound from my manager’s end.
“Yes...I see...but...they are? Alright...yes, I was once yes...yes alright,” He hangs up and hands the phone back to me.
A woman walks around behind the desk, and he looks at her,
“Aina you’re in charge until I get back,” he orders and grabbing a key walks to me.
“This hotel has over three hundred rooms. Your manager is insane if he wants me to go through each one of them. Which by the way is illegal without a warrant.”
Search three hundred rooms?! Illegal on top of that? Was manager-sshi trying to get me arrested?!
“I’ll get a warrant then...” I speak, preferring to not take the chance.

“That would be a good idea, but do you have the time? It takes about two days to get one.”
