"Hey, let's grab something to eat." Jungwon suggested, popping up at the university's library where Linna was currently studying.

"No, Jungwon." She declined, not looking up from her materials.

"I have to study."

"You can study another time." He reasoned as she sighed.

"I could, but I don't want to."

"C'mon, Linna. Take a break."

"No."

"Why are you so stubborn?"

"Because I can be." She countered, still focusing on her materials.

"So, leave me alone."

"No." He declined, chuckling.

"Besides, I'm your favorite person."

Linna glanced up with a wry smile.

"Not anymore."

Jungwon eyed his friend.

"Who's your new favorite then?"

"Sunoo."

She grinned as he scoffed.

"I'm still better."

Linna chuckled with a shrug.

"Say what you want, but Sunoo is my new favorite now."

"Liar. You could never replace me as your favorite person. Even your boyfriend comes second."

Linna didn't respond and just gave Jungwon a look. He eyed her, curiously.

"What's with the look?"

"Nothing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"But-"

"Are we gonna discuss Jay or about you wanting to eat out?"

"Both."

"I'm not doing either. Leave me alone."

Linna returned to studying again as Jungwon still persisted.

"Okay, fine. Forget Jay. Let's get some food. You never reject the topic of food."

"Until now. Because you're being more annoying than usual."

"Wow, that's rude."

"Don't care."

"Yeah, you do. Anyway, Linna, come and eat with me, please?"

She sighed, closing her books and staring at her friend again.

"Don't you have other people to bother and can ask to eat with, Yang Jungwon?"

He grinned with a playful look on his face.

"I do, Linna, but I want to eat with you and only you today."

"You're so annoying."

"I know, but that's why I'm your favorite."

He chuckled, knowing that his friend was about to give in.

"Like I said earlier, Yang Jungwon, but you're not my favorite anymore." Linna remarked, shooting him a slight glare.

Jungwon rolled his eyes in good-nature with a smirk.

"I'll always be your favorite, but c'mon, let's go."

"Ugh, fine, but you're paying."

"Of course."

He grinned.

"Now, let's go."

"Where did you want to eat again?" Linna asked once the two got off the bus and were heading to wherever Jungwon was leading them.

"Um, this one cafe that just opened up recently." He answered while scrolling through his phone.

"We should be reaching it soon."

"Okay, what's the name of it so that I can check the menu beforehand."

"Don't worry about it. I got you." Jungwon dismissed casually, casting her with a secretive smile.

"You'll love it."

"I'll be the judge of that when we actually eat."

Jungwon chuckled as he spotted the cafe.

"Oh, right here."

Linna stared at the place, recognizing the spot and scowled.

"I'm not eating here."

"Wait a minute."

Jungwon grabbed her arm, preventing his friend from leaving.

"Why not?"

"I just don't want to."

Linna didn't want to dine here because this place was where she was supposed to have a dinner date with her boyfriend several days ago. However, Jay cancelled at the last minute, citing reasons with school work and other relations. Linna wouldn't have minded, but that day was an important day for her and he totally forgot to tell her that one important thing. Jay still hadn't told her and so Linna's been ignoring him since that day. Although she could've checked her messages and stuff, she was being stubborn and didn't want to read or hear anything from her boyfriend at the moment.

"But it has the Hello Kitty specials." Jungwon reasoned as Linna nodded.

"Yeah, I know."

"Then what's the problem?"

"It's just personal, Jungwon."

She eyed him with a scowl upon her face, not wanting to explain herself.
