Kyuhyun woke up in the middle of the night to find his beloved hyung staring at him wide-eyed in the dark. Fortunately, he already got used to his lover's weird habit after dating the man for more than a decade. Smiling fondly, he caressed the older man's chubby cheek.

 

"Can't sleep again? But I thought you dozed off not long after listening to my lullaby?"

"Mm... Only for an hour... I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep. So, I watched your cute face instead."

 

Yesung nuzzled the maknae's warm hand and scooted closer into the welcoming embrace. Kyuhyun's hand shifted to rub the other man's nape as he kissed the messy blond head of his lover.

 

"There's still time before my first schedule. Let's sleep more, Baby."

"Kkuru, can you sing for me again?"

"Sure thing~"

 

Kyuhyun gladly sang for his boyfriend while rubbing the back of the smaller man's head. However, he ended up falling asleep first due to fatigue. Yesung smiled at the sight of his adorable snoring boyfriend and bowed his head to lightly peck the maknae's philtrum.

 

"Sweet dreams, my Baby Kkuru~"

"Yah, Kyuhyun, stop making a face like you're considering making someone's life miserable."

 

Hyukjae teased and playfully smacked the Super Junior maknae on the back. Today, they got to film a variety show together but Kyuhyun's brows never once stopped furrowed. The younger man sighed loudly and glanced at him, only to sigh even louder and look away; and Hyukjae instantly protested.

 

"Hey!! What's the meaning of that!?"

"It means nothing. Donghae hyung falls asleep five seconds after his head hits a pillow so you can't help me with my problem."

 

Accurately grasping the main concern, Hyukjae stopped joking around and sat down next to his (bratty) dongsaeng.

 

"Did Yesung hyung's insomnia strike again?"

"Yes... I've been doing everything in my power— don't let him drink coffee after dinner, don't let him play with his phone thirty minutes before bedtime,  make him drink chamomile tea, make sure our bedroom is dark and quiet, sing him to sleep, you name it— but nothing worked. It just makes Yesung hyung call me Daddy outside of the bedroom too."

"That last bit of information is totally useless and disgusting but I can see it now. Well, hyung has been suffering from insomnia forever. Although his health got a lot better after being under your control—, cough, I mean, Yesung hyung looks fit and happy after dating you. Still, insomnia wouldn't disappear overnight just because you take care of him well."

"Thank you for saying what I already knew. I really made the right decision asking for your opinion. I guess I have to ask Teuk hyung next."

 

Kyuhyun got up when the makeup noona called him and breezily avoided a kick in the from his older brother. Hyukjae rolled his eyes and got up as well.

 

"Have you ever thought that Yesung hyung just has too much energy? Hae-ah can fall asleep anytime because he's usually tired after the exercise."

 

Kyuhyun stopped and pondered the suggestion. He admitted that it sounded convincing but didn't want to his hyung's ego. So, he smirked deviously and nodded at the older man, before adding the "necessary" comment.

 

"You're right, Eunhyuk hyung. That's why I should exhaust Yesung hyung a lot before the bedtime, so much that he begs me—"

"Ah! Just go to Teuk hyung directly next time!!!"

"What's he up to again...?"

 

Yesung murmured as he unlocked the door. The last time his boyfriend said that, he came back to a lewd maid outfit coupled with a choker and lace thighs. Needless to say, he was played with to the point that he couldn't think straight for a while after the intense . He loved Kyuhyun and loved the surprise. He just couldn't help feeling anxious not knowing what awaits him... Taking a deep breath, he grasped the door handle and stepped into their house...

 

A cute sunflower penguin plushie welcomed him in the hallway.

 

Yesung smiled as he saw the maknae's favorite plushie. He kneeled down and noticed a pile of clothes plus a small piece of paper behind the penguin. He checked the note first and immediately smiled wider.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"So, you do know how to draw, huh?"

 

Yesung grinned and carefully pocketed the cutest invitation ever in his coat for putting in his memory album later. Next, he checked the clothes (probably the dress code for this party) and snorted after finding out that it was a black cat onesie, complete with a tail and ears. Still grinning widely, he picked up the "pajamas" and went to change in the bathroom. Kyuhyun was nowhere to be found in the living room and kitchen so he suspected the party's location to be their bedroom (make sense). While carrying their child the sunflower penguin plushie, Yesung opened the door leading to the bedroom...

 

"Welcome to Kyuhyun's pajama party!!"

 

As soon as he stepped inside, Kyuhyun shouted in joy and popped a party popper to greet him. The maknae's pajamas are also a onesie but a penguin one. Yesung beamed and ran into his sweet boyfriend's arms first thing first. The taller man chuckled and hugged him back while swaying their bodies to the left and right.

 

"Kyuhyun-ah, what is all of this?"

"Your insomnia comes back again so I'm trying to help as a good husband should~"

 

Pulling away from the warm embrace, Kyuhyun held the older man's small hands and kissed them.

 

"Hyung, you tend to harbor unnecessary thoughts before going to bed and get anxious. That's why I'm going to help you relax and get a good night's sleep~"

"Kyu..."

 

Feeling extremely touched but lacking a word to say, Yesung tip-toed and left a quick peck on his precious boyfriend's smiling lips. Then, he grinned as the younger returned the sweet touch on his forehead. Done with the explanation, Kyuhyun held one of his hands and spread his free hand to show the decorated bedroom as if to show off his hard work. Yesung nodded and took a closer look. A cute "Pajamas Party" handmade banner was hung by the window. Many colorful balloons stayed afloat on the ceiling. A few of their animal plushies (also wearing pajamas) sat here and there in the room— on the floor, on the bed, on the table, etc. On the floor, a train toy ran in circles on a track with small penguin and turtle figurines on board. On a computer table, a miniature Ferris wheel spun rhythmically to quiet pop music in the background. Yesung chuckled when he noticed that Kyumae (Kyuhyun's new doggo merch at Antenna) and a small cloud plushie were together inside one of the Ferris wheel's cabins. Checking out the bed next, he noticed that it was made nicely with a Monopoly game on a pillow and a single large sunflower on the folded blanket. On a bedside table, a mini Bluetooth speaker and a Camomile-scented candle sat next to their anniversary picture. All in all, it was obvious that Kyuhyun put a lot of effort into the preparation, even though his boyfriend was already busy preparing for his solo concert tour in Asia... Yesung blinked away the happy tears and turned back to face the younger man.

 

"It must be hard to set up everything by yourself, right? Thank you so much, Cho Kkuru~"

"Well, I did drag—, cough, ask Eunhyuk hyung and Ryeonggu to help me. I put in the most work and came up with the idea though!!"

"I see~ My husband is the best~ So, what are we going to do at this party?"

"Obviously, we start with singing and dancing!"

 

Kyuhyun connected his phone to the speaker and played a song. Yesung instantly recognized the song from its first note— Pajama Party by Super Junior-H. Seeing the look of recognition on his face, the maknae nodded in approval. Then, Kyuhyun started singing the rap intro by Eunhyuk while pretending to hold a mic and extended his other hand towards him. However, Yesung didn't take the offered hand and just watched the younger with an amused smile, causing Kyuhyun to sing the first line with a pout.

Knowing by heart that the next line belonged to him, Yesung beamed and finally took the larger hand. He squeezed it and sang his line while looking at the taller man's bright puppy eyes.

For the chorus, they exchanged knowing looks and playful grins, before letting go of each other's hand. Taking a narrow step back, they bent their knees and put their hands next to their legs to perform the exact choreography of the song.

When the second part of the chorus played, Yesung happily squeezed both of his boyfriend's warm hands while Kyuhyun intertwined their fingers. Then, they sang together while jumping up and down and shaking their hands

 

 

영화처럼요 베개 싸움도 해요

눈처럼 하얀 베갯속 세상

우리 둘이 신나게 즐겨요

(Like they do in movies~ Let's also have a pillow fight.

Like the color of snow~ Inside a white pillow world~

After that, the song kept playing as they kept singing and dancing together. During the bridge part before the last chorus which belonged to him, Yesung put on a vocal prowess show and sang it to the best of his capability. It earned a genuine big clap from the maknae who looked at him with a proud smile, which, in his turn, blushed and smiled shyly. They continued to sing the last chorus together while dancing hand in hand (and Yesung casually belted high-note adlibs while jumping around.) Finally, the closing line arrived which also belonged to him. Yesung stepped closer to the younger man while still holding the larger hands. He looked up and sang from the bottom of his heart.

While the music continued to play until the end, Yesung closed his eyes and kissed his beloved boyfriend on the lips. They stood still like that, neither stepping back nor pushing further with the kiss. They just enjoyed the genuine bliss of loving and being loved by their significant other. After what felt like a forever and a millisecond at the same time, they slowly pulled away but kept their foreheads touching, all the while squeezing their connected hands. Noticing a tiny glint of desire in the maknae's big doe eyes, Yesung couldn't help but snort.

 

"Are we skipping to the rolling-in-bed part?"

"As much I'd love to, nope, we're not going to have that kind of fun tonight. I want to help you relax, not have you wake up with a sore back and waist."

"If you say so~ Then, what are we going to do next? Huh? My dear reliable husband?"

 

Kyuhyun grinned smugly and kissed his cheek once, before skipping happily to the bed. The younger picked up the Monopoly game and showed it to him.

 

 

"Hyung, let's play a game together!"

"Hahaha!! You walk into my property again! Hurry up and pay the fee~"

"What!!? I just paid the last turn! You're cheating!"

"That one and this one are different properties so you have to pay me again. Besides, how am I cheating when you're the one who rolls the dice?"

 

Yesung pouted because he really couldn't come up with any rebuttal to the maknae's question. He hasn't played Monopoly for many years so he only knows the basics. On the other hand, it was evidently that Kyuhyun practiced before tonight. While he simply bought every property that he rolled the dice, his boyfriend actually planned and bought in a clever pattern (he only realized it after he fell for the younger's trap.) Right now, he is on the verge of bankruptcy...

 

"Yesung hyung, even if you sold all of your properties, it still wouldn't be enough to pay for the fee. So? Are you going to take a loan from the bank? Or declare bankruptcy and lose to me?"

 

Yesung knew that he couldn't win but the maknae's smug smile made him feel annoyed. He didn't want to just admit the defeat without fighting back!!

 

"...How about the third option?"

"What third option? C'mon~ Just admit that you at this game, hyung, haha—"

"Can I pay with my body?"

"—Ha. Wait. Did you just—?"

 

Yesung started by his bottom lip and batting his eyes suggestively to capture his boyfriend's attention. When Kyuhyun's brown doe eyes completely focused on him, he smirked and slowly pulled down the onesie's zipper at the front to show his neck plus shoulder blade. After that, he slightly crooked his head to the back and purposefully exposed his chest to the gulping flustered maknae.

 

"So? Mayor Cho, is my body enough to pay off the debt?"

"...A very tempting offer, I admitted."

 

The younger man's eyes strayed to his chest and Yesung smirked in his heart, ready to celebrate his victory. However, his boyfriend actually managed to look away and foiled his strategy.

 

"Hmph! If you think that I'm very easy to sway then you're wrong! I only want my money or your defeat!"

 

Kyuhyun smirked in return and wiggled his fingers to send the message, and the other man's smug expression annoyed him. Pouting, Yesung lay down on the board game and rolled back and forth. After thoroughly ruining it, he rolled onto the younger man's lap next and his boyfriend happily caught him, though not without teasing him first.

 

"What? Hyung, you didn't want to lose so much that you resorted to throwing tantrums?"

"Am not. A giant cat monster invaded the Monopoly City and destroyed the civilization. No more games. Rawr."

"Really? What should we do about this adorable monster then?"

 

Yesung grinned and tapped his lips, and his boyfriend more than gladly played along. Kyuhyun's beautiful lips descended and stole his annoyance from losing the game in just one sweet kiss. After they retreated, Yesung pretended to writhe as if he was in pain and rolled off the maknae's lap. Then, he pretended to faint and bolt up from the floor in the next second, acting as if he was possessed.

 

"Kyuhyun-ah! What happened!? I only remembered that we were playing Monopoly but then I fainted... That's right. What happened to our game?"

"Baby, a giant cat monster attacked our city but you're safe now! My true love kiss saved you~"

"Omo! Really? Cho Kkuru~ You're my savior~ It's a shame that we can't decide on the winner but it can't be helped, right? So? What are we going to do next?"

 

Kyuhyun snorted at his lover's blatant poor attempt to gloss over the losing game but didn't say anything. He just carried his naughty boyfriend and headed to bed for their next activity. Seeing where he was heading, the older man blushed but actually looked expectant as he spoke up.

 

"Kyu, I thought we weren't going to...?"

 

Kyuhyun just smiled sweetly.

"Then, Donghae hyung added a slice of avocado to Eunhyuk hyung's ramyeon, saying that it was good for his health. I love Donghae hyung but that ramyeon was hideous! However, Eunhyuk hyung who hates avocados still finished the bowl! Even praised his boyfriend that it's yummy. Ha! And he likes to laugh at me for being your whipped husband. Would you believe that?"

"Kyu..."

"Oh, I heard that Heechul hyung confessed his love to Leeteuk hyung via his Bubble instead of telling him directly again. This old man is full of nonsense! How come he is embarrassed talking to Teuk hyung but not to thousands of ELFs?"

"Kyuhyun..."

"By the way, this is only my speculation so keep it a secret! I think our Ryeonggu plans to hold a wedding in Bali. Personally, I think that's a great choice! Kinda reminded me of how we had ours at Jeju Island, hehe~"

"Kyuhyun-ah, seriously, what are we doing now?"

 

Yesung asked deadpanned to his boyfriend. When Kyuhyun gently laid him on the bed, he thought that they were going to do the deed. However, the maknae simply lay down next to him and hugged the sister penguin. The younger then did nothing but gossip about their friends for a while.

 

"What are we doing? One of the main courses for a pajama party, obviously! It's romance talk section!"

 

Kyuhyun smirked when he noticed a hint of disappointment in the older man's eyes and a cute pout.

 

"Why? Baby, were you perhaps hoping for something else~?"

"T-That's not it! Please continue our romance talk!"

"Sure thing~ Oh! There's this amazing guy who my acquaintance is dating. I heard that he's the best husband he ever has!"

"Who's that?"

"Weeeell, you seeee," Kyuhyun drawled with a smug look. "The acquaintance's name is Kim Kanghoon. I heard that his husband is not only handsome but also rich. Plus, the husband is very loyal and only ever looks at him. Although he's quite busy, he always makes time for his lovely spouse and takes care of him. What's more. The husband is smart, kind-hearted, considerate, full of humor, hard-working, determined, patient, resilient, very understanding, and romantic to boot! Most importantly, I heard that the said husband's technique in bed is extremely unparalleled and his great stamina leaves no room for doubt~"

 

Kyuhyun paused and drank in his beloved hyung's flabbergasted expression for a few minutes.

 

"What do you think about my acquaintance's husband? Isn't he cool~?"

"Yes, he's very cool and I love him so much."

 

Yesung snorted at the younger man's surprised expression. Kyuhyun probably expected him to say something along the lines of "Don't be so full of yourself", not earnestly agree with everything. Knowing that he completely caught his boyfriend off guard, he happily continued with the teasing.

 

"My life is full of misfortune but meeting my husband is one of the best things that happened to me. He's everything that I could ever imagine a husband would have. Most importantly, his love makes me doubt my worth no more. I really, really do love my husband, with all my heart."

"W-What!? Stop it, hyung, you're giving me goosebumps!"

"Why~? Is my Baby Kkuru feeling shy~?"

"No! Am not! Totally not!"

 

Seeing the maknae keep denying despite his reddened ears, Yesung couldn't help but coo. He also wanted to tease his adorable boyfriend more! He grinned mischievously and rolled on top of the younger man's strong body. With his hands resting on the drumming heart, he looked down on the flustered man like a cat enjoying its prey and batted his eyelashes suggestively; all the while purring his boyfriend's name playfully.

 

"Cho~ Kkuru~ Shy~ Baby~"

"I'm not a kid!!"

"But you're my baby~ Baby Kkuru~"

"Ah, hyung, stop!"

"No can do~ Cho Kkuru~ I love—"

 

Floop!

 

"Stop! Are you trying to make your husband die... from a heart attack..."

 

Kyuhyun glanced up when the magnetic voice of his beloved hyung suddenly went quiet. A silly "Oops" escaped his lips when he realized that the older man stopped teasing him because he accidentally threw a pillow at the man's face. He quickly took it away but it was too late. Yesung hyung already glared at him. The smaller man's gaze was full of murderous intent. Realizing that he pissed off his boyfriend, Kyuhyun hurriedly tried to placate his furious kitten.

 

"Baby... I didn't mean to... Don't be angry, okay?"

"... I'm going to kick your ing !!"

"Eek!!"

 

Kyuhyun squealed after he narrowly dodged a deadly pillow attack from his angry boyfriend. He quickly got up from the bed and barely bowed his head in time to avoid a flying pillow. His hyung didn't give up though. Yesung snatched a pillow and immediately started chasing the laughing maknae around the bedroom, determined to get even a single hit in that infuriating handsome face. When the older man almost caught up with him, Kyuhyun hurriedly grasped the pillow on the floor that was thrown away by Yesung and used it to defend himself. He even dared to hit back when the chaser finally caught him.

Soon, a silly pillow fight commenced and white feathers flew everywhere as the two men kept hitting their spouse with their fluffy weapons, all the while laughing in joy. At first, the odds of the winning were even. However, the situation quickly turned the tide against Yesung when Kyuhyun utilized his large hands and grasped another pillow to assist the fight. Eventually, with two fluffy pillows hitting him left and right, Yesung got cornered and fell backward on the bed while giggling. Kyuhyun didn't let this golden opportunity get away and trapped the smaller man under his body. Smiling down at his satisfied and delighted cat, Kyuhyun lightly kissed the wrinkles on the bridge of the older man's nose caused by laughing and nose scrunching.

 

"I won both the Monopoly game and the pillow fight. Hyung, you ."

"I won your heart, didn't I?"

 

Yesung smirked in superiority at the maknae's instant reddened ears. Kyuhyun groaned and dropped his weight on his beautiful brother, nuzzling his nose against the crook of the older man's smooth neck like a wronged puppy.

 

"Hyuuung~ You're being unfair again!"

"How? Aren't we even because you also win my heart?"

"See!? You did it again!!"

 

Yesung snorted and giggled when his flustered big puppy got back at him by nibbling and kissing his neck obsessively. He let the younger mark his skin as much as the man wanted and just lay there quietly while humming. Their silly fight caused the onesie hoodie to fall off so he could pat the maknae's fluffy brown hair. Then, he noticed a few feathers sticking out from his boyfriend's hair and tenderly took them off. Before taking out the last two feathers, an awesome idea popped up in his head. He pursed his lips to block a laughter as he pinned the two feathers on both sides of the maknae's head.

 

"—Pfft, oops."

"Baby?"

 

Hearing his lover's suppressed laughter, Kyuhyun pulled away from the tempting neck and tilted his head confusedly. However, that only made the blond failed to hold back his laughter.

 

"Hahahahahahahahaha! K-Kkuru, y-your head, pfft, A-Antenna... Hahahahahahahahaha!!!"

 

While his weirdo beloved hyung laughed and rolled around while holding his tummy like a madman, Kyuhyun got up and went to see his reflection in a dressing mirror. He sighed in fond exasperation after he spotted two white feathers sticking out of his hair like antenna. Pretending to be angry, he stormed to the bed and stared down at his grinning cute boyfriend with his arms crossed over his chest.

 

"Dearest Wife, are you finally having enough of making fun of your husband?"

"...Pfft, ha, yeah! That's the best laugh I've had in a while. Thanks, dummy."

 

Perhaps because he has been running around and laughing heartily, Yesung immediately yawned after finishing the sentence. He rubbed his eyes sleepily with the onesie sleeves while the maknae chuckled fondly.

 

"It seems like my princess has exhausted all energy now. Shall we retire for the night, Your Highness?"

"Cho Kkuru~ Take me~"

 

Kyuhyun snorted but gladly carried the older man who extended his arms towards him with a cute pout. Then, they spent longer than usual to brush teeth because they kept kissing instead. By the time they left the bathroom, Yesung has already closed his eyes and snuggled comfortably in his boyfriend's arms. Kyuhyun kissed the older man's forehead and gently laid him on the bed. Luckily, one pillow survived the fight. Kyuhyun used it and let his yawning boyfriend sleep on his shoulder instead. He smiled and rubbed the kitten's back who put his blond head on his chest and murmured huskily.

 

"Kyu... Can you sing Pajama Party for me...?"

"Anything for you, Baby~"

"Hmm... Make it a ballad style... But don't sound too depressing..."

"Sure thing~"

"Kyu...?"

"Yes, Baby?"

 

Yesung looked up and kissed the maknae's chin.

 

"I love you."

"Me too, Baby..."

 

Kyuhyun returned the sweetest kiss on his beloved hyung's head, before singing with his mellow voice.
