Meeting The Gang Again

The Cool Guy or The Player?

The sound of people rushing to get to their plane and little kids screaming of excitement could be heard as a girl entered the Airport’s luggage area. On her face was a bright smile as she searched for her family. It wasn’t long until someone was calling out her name.

“Minnie!” Someone called out, using her nickname. So it could only be one of the few people she was really close with. “Over here!”

Mi Cha turned around to see a boy her height but with blond hair. He looked feminine but yet handsome in a way. Mi Cha smiled wider and ran into the open arms of her brother.

“Mickey!” Mi Cha squealed, using her nickname for him. Her brother picked her up and twirled her around before placing her back on her feet. He smiled at and pinched her cheeks. “Ah, you never change.”

Mi Cha pouted and rubbed it. “And you too, Min Ki.”

The blond boy chuckled and shook his head. “Call me Ren from now on. Or just stick with Mickey. And you’d be surprised at how much I’ve changed.”

“Huh? Why Ren? And what do you mean changed? You don’t seem any different, you’re still pretty small.”

Ren shot her a look. “I’m not small, I’m fun sized! And Ren because I’m use to being called that now. Min Ki is a foreign name to me now.”

Mi Cha pouted but nodded. “Arasso, Ren.”

Ren smiled and pulled her into a hug again. “Ah I missed my adorable little sister. Anyway, I already have your bags; it’s in the car with mom and dad. Oh and just to remind you ahead of time, they’ll be going on their year trip starting tomorrow.”

“What? Tomorrow, but I just got back!”

They both walked outside to see their parent jumping up and down with happiness. They ran straight over to Mi Cha and pulled her into a hug.

“My adorable daughter is back!” Her mom cried. “I missed you my hunny.”

“Mom.” Mi Cha whined.

“Now don’t be like that. Do you know how much your mother misses you? Even I do.” Her father was on the verge of crying.

Mi Cha huffed but smiled and hugged them both. “I know I missed you guys so much too. It was hard just exchanging letters with you guys.”

“I know, but we are going to go home and on the way you will tell us everything!” Her mother nodded and they all piled into the car.

Mi Cha nodded and went over to hook arms with her brother. They all hopped in the car and drove to her ‘home’. On the way, Mi Cha told them about the 3 years she had to spend in a boarding school in America, but also how much she missed everyone.

As soon as they got home, Mi Cha ran up to her old bedroom and looked around. Everything was how it was before she left. She smiled and lay down on her bed.

“I’m home.” She sighed.

“Yes you are.” Ren said, appearing in her room with her suitcases. “Man, what did you pack in here? I know you were gone for three years but didn’t you girls only wear uniforms?”

Mi Cha giggled and went to grab one of the suitcases from him. She opened it to reveal treasures for herself as memories and gifts that she bought for her family and her friends. She rummaged around until she found her gift for her brother.

“Here! I bought this for you.” Mi Cha said as she gave her brother a small gift wrapped box. Ren immediately opened it and took the gift out. “You bought a Mickey mouse phone chain?”

“Yup, I know how much you like Mickey Mouse, so I thought I would buy one for you. I also bought one for myself. See?” Mi Cha held out her phone to reveal a Minnie mouse chain for herself.

Ren smiled and placed the chain on his phone and held it out. “Looks good. Oh yeah, mom says to go downstairs now. We’re having our ‘family’ meeting.”

Ren rolled his eyes as Mi Cha laughed a little. They both left her room to the living room to find both of her parents sitting down, waiting.

“Ne, mother?” Mi Cha asked, taking a seat.

“Mi Cha! I’m sure by now that Ren told you about us leaving tomorrow?” Mi Cha nodded. “Great, well we’re going to Japan for the year. Are you okay with that?”

“Not really, but you guys do deserve your vacation.”

Her father nodded. “Okay, we’re sorry but this is the only time where we’re both off from work. But don’t worry people will be here so you won’t feel lonely.”

Mi Cha tilted her head. “Um, what people?”

“Well,” Ren said, “There’s me … and then remember my friends from before?” Mi Cha nodded. “They’re all going to be moving in as well.”

“Wae?” Mi Cha jumped. She knew the guy, that’s for sure, but she wasn’t comfortable with the fact that she was going to be the only female in a house filled with guys.

“It’s a vacation … For all of us.” Her father said. “The boy’s parents are going as well, and we all thought it would be best to move the boys in this house since it’s the biggest. But if you’re not fine with it, we can do something else.”

Mi Cha opened to agree but her brother stood up and covered . “Ah, you agree? Thank you, my dear kind sister.” Ren shot her look to be quiet.

“Great! Well, there’s been a change of plans.” Her mother informed. “The flight has been changed to today, so we have to get going now. The boys will be coming over tomorrow with their stuff. I expect you guys to behave, alright?”

Mi Cha couldn’t say anything since Ren’s hand was still on , but Ren gave them a smile and nodded. “Ne, mother. Don’t worry me and the other guys will take care of Mi Cha.”

Her mom and dad said their good-byes and left out the door in a rush. As soon as they did, Mi Cha pushed his hands off and glared at him. “Mickey! Why did you do that? I’m not comfortable living in a house filled with guys!”

Ren laughed nervously. “Please, don’t get angry. You know them so it’s okay.”

“So? I’m the only girl! And you guys are just so messy! I don’t want to be cleaning up after you!”

Ren pouted and gave her his puppy eyes. “Please, my dongsaeng? Please!”

Mi Cha glared at him, but he kept up with his puppy face. Soon after, Mi Cha sighed and pouted. “Arasso, fine. But you guys are cleaning up after your own mess, and no bringing other girls into the house, alright? I don’t need to see you guys making out with one, it’s gross.” She shuddered at the thought.

Ren broke out into a wide grin and hugged his adorable little dongsaeng. “Arasso! Don’t worry; you’ll have fun with them.”

Mi Cha went up to her room with a thought. Somehow, I feel like I’m going to regret this.

The Next Day

As Mi Cha was cooking breakfast, the doorbell rang.

“I got it!” Ren said. As soon as he opened the door, Baekho ran in yelling, “Where’s my adorable dongsaeng!”

“In here!” Mi Cha called from the kitchen.

Baekho ran in to see his adorable dongsaeng all grown up and looking cute. He pulled her into a hug and twirled her around. “I missed you my dongsaeng! Did you miss your oppa?”

Mi Cha giggled. “Ne, I did.”

He placed her down on the ground and inspected her from head to toe. “Ah, you’re all grown up and looking even cuter than before! Are you ready to be my girlfriend?” He winked.

Mi Cha scrunched up her face and shook her head. “Aniyo! I don’t like you like that, oppa.”

Baekho placed a hand over his heart and faked a hurt look. “You’re rejecting my heart? Ah, you’re so cruel.”

“Yah, leave her alone!” Aron said, popping up at the doorway. Then he smiled at Mi Cha and held out his arms. “Come here, Minnie.”

Mi Cha ran into Aron’s arm and smiled up at him, “Annyeong, Aron-oppa.”

“Annyeong, Minnie. Baekho was right, you have grown up. But you’re still my adorable little dongsaeng.” He smiled and pinched her cheek.

“Ne, where are the others?” Mi Cha asked.

“In the living room, come. They’re waiting for you.” Aron held out his arms and Mi Cha linked it with hers.

Minhyun was the first person she saw as they both entered the living room. Minhyun smiled coolly, but Mi Cha knew that he was just as happy as she was.

“Welcome back, Minnie.” He said, coolly.

Mi Cha rolled her eyes and went over to hug him. It didn’t take long for Minhyun to return it with his cool smile replaced with a smile. “I missed you Minhyun-oppa!”

“Same here, and I must say.” He pulled away and inspected her. “That you’re fashion sense has gotten a lot better.”

Mi Cha smirked. “Better than yours.”

“Hey! I have the best taste in fashion. Everyone wants my clothes.” He chuckled and wiped an invisible thing off his shoulder.

“And who’s everyone? Your imaginary friends?” Minhyun glared at her and shook his head. “Aniyo, for your information, I don’t have invisible friends.”

“Ah, so you admit it! You use to have them!” Mi Cha giggled while Minhyun just looked away, caught.

“You know,” someone interrupted, “you’re forgetting one more person.”

Mi Cha turned around to see a tall guy with dark brown hair. His bang was covering his right eye and he had a rather mysterious aura to him. At first, Mi Cha was confused as to whom it was but that’s when it hit her.

“Jong Hyun-oppa?” Mi Cha asked.

The guy nodded and smiled so soft that she barely even saw it there. “Ne, it’s me, but I prefer to be called JR.”

Mi Cha blinked. She remembered that JR used to be the cheerful guy who always smiled. Now, it seems like he was a rather mysterious and cold type of guy. Nevertheless, Mi Cha still felt that slight attraction towards him that she used to have from before. But it felt different this time. Her heart felt ready to jump out and run away and her stomach suddenly got this feeling of butterflies. It also didn’t help when JR came over and hugged her.

“I missed you my dongsaeng.” JR whispered. Mi Cha froze, hesitating. She felt like she was on fire with him hugging her. But then her arms came up and around him, hugging him back. Mi Cha could tell he was different from before, but he still had the same effect on her and she liked it. “I missed you too, oppa.”

“Alright, alright! Enough, I want to hug Minnie again.” Baekho interrupted her ‘sweet’ moment and pulled Mi Cha out of JR’s grip. “Ah, now I feel complete.”

Mi Cha wanted to hit Baekho for ruining her moment, but she couldn’t help but smile at his affectionate side. Everyone laughed, except for JR who was smiling instead, and sat down on the couch, talking. Mi Cha’s eyes wandered over to JR who was quiet and listening intently. Her heart gave a soft thump at how handsome he’s grown and she couldn’t help but blush. Baekho, though, got the wrong assumption.

“Ah, you’re blushing just from me hugging you? You’re so adorable! I love you too, Minnie! Let’s go out!” Baekho cheered.

Mi Cha shook her head and pouted. “Aniyo, I was just remembering something. Stop trying to make a move on me, oppa.”

“Aw.” Baekho pouted causing a loud rupture of laughter from his fellow members. Mi Cha couldn’t help but laugh as well, but then her eyes met eyes with JR. He gave her a soft smile and then turned his attention away. Mi Cha blushed once again and sighed.

You’re so different, and I don’t know if it’s good or bad. What I do know is that you still have the same effect on me like before.
