netflix's newest korean dating show is coming soon. they saw the success of "single's inferno" and  "nineteen to twenty" leading them to create a new korean dating show with a twist. the cast consist of individuals, ages 23 to 29 who are looking for a serious relationship and haven't had much success on dating apps or blind dates.

 

"sPARK cONNECTION" combines the excitement of a reality dating show with the anonymity of a chatting app. Participants send in applications to the casting crew THROUGH THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE, providing information about their interests, preferences, and what they are looking for in a partner. The casting crew received help from relationship experts and matchmakers to pair participants with their best potential match.

 

The matches engage in a week-long anonymous chat to form genuine connections.  Then, all participants transition to living in a house for three weeks. the identities of their initial matches are not revealed to the female cast. while the identities of each initial connection pairs were revealed to the male early on during their stay in the house. other than that, the same rules apply to male and female cast. during the show, participants may search for their initial connection or explore new sparks. 

 

the show follows the female participants' perspective in looking for love. follow along with the female cast in the entangled search for love and guessing who their initial connection was.
