Happy New Year everyone! :) Sorry for the delay. I got sick since chapter 3 and it got really bad after I posted chapter 4. So I had to focus on my health first before I could focus on this. Anyway, here is the last chapter. Happy reading :)

...

The wedding day loomed ever closer, and Taeyeon had begun taking days off from work to concentrate on the upcoming ceremony, as he had promised Tiffany.

Mr. Hwang invited Taeyeon to lunch at the Hwang mansion. Since Tiffany would soon move in with Taeyeon after the wedding, he had come to help her in packing.

Upon entering Tiffany's room, Taeyeon couldn't help but comment, "Wow, it's very pink in here."

The room was adorned in various shades of light pink and white, from the bed and walls to the desk, chair, and most of the furniture.

“Don't say anything," Tiffany shushed him, her face turning red, and walked over to her bed, which held three suitcases.

"Are you finished packing?" Taeyeon asked.

"No, not yet. I have some clothes left, but I need you to bring these down first." Tiffany handed Taeyeon the luggage, and when he tried to lift it, he found it surprisingly heavy.

"What did you put inside it? A baby elephant? It's very heavy."

"My clothes," she replied with innocent eyes.

"Three suitcases for clothes only?" he raised an eyebrow.

"Yup," she said, heading to her closet room, with Taeyeon trailing behind her, leaving the luggage behind.

When Taeyeon entered the room, he was speechless. Another three suitcases on the floor were filled with handbags, shoes, and accessories.

"Are you planning to take the entire room with you?" he couldn't believe his eyes.

"What are you saying? I packed only important things. All of this is important to me." She shrugged off the stare, placing her bags on the shelves.

"Is this important too?" Tiffany looked up to see Taeyeon holding her white bunny plushie by its ear, which he had taken from her luggage.

"Hey, that's my Mr. Peter! Why are you holding his ear like that?" Tiffany snatched her plushie. "I'm going to bring it with me."

"Are you serious? Why are you bringing it along?"

Tiffany blushed. "I can't sleep without it."

Taeyeon raised his eyebrows "You mean you sleep with it every night?"

She gave a slow nod.

Taeyeon paused for a second before telling her, "Leave it here."

Tiffany was taken aback and exclaimed, "What! No!"

"I will not allow it to sleep in OUR bed. Leave it alone!"

"No, I'm not going to leave it! I need Mr. Peter! You're cruel!" Tiffany yelled.

"I'm not cruel, and I'm not going to let you bring it!"

"I'm going to be lonely without him!"

"You have me! ME! Why would you be lonely?!" He said it without realizing his tone which obviously sounded so jealous.

"Don't tell me you're jealous of him?!"

"Are you kidding me? Why would I?! For your information, the white rabbit plushie is the item I hate the most in the world!"

Both of them growled while glaring at each other, unaware that they had just had their first fight.

....

"Daddy, have you seen Taeyeon?" Tiffany asked as she descended the staircase, finding her father engaged in a game of chess with his driver in the living room.

Without glancing her way, her father replied, "Oh, he mentioned wanting to visit the treehouse in the backyard."

"Okay," Tiffany responded, stepping out of the mansion and into the backyard in search of Taeyeon.

After their small fight, they decided to reconcile, realizing that quarreling over a plushie was too childish for both of them and Taeyeon finally let her bring her plushie with her.

"Taeyeon, are you up there?" Tiffany called out.

After a moment, a faint reply reached her ears, "Yes, I am."

Following the sound, Tiffany climbed the wooden ladder and entered the treehouse nestled among the branches.

Inside, she found Taeyeon lying on a carpet in the center, his head propped on his arm as he gazed out the window roof at the beautiful sky. Tiffany approached him.

"Why are you lying down?" She asked, sitting beside him.

"You get a better view from here," Taeyeon replied, not taking his eyes off the scenery.

Tiffany looked up and inquired, "Really?" She then joined him in lying down, appreciating the view.

The weather was pleasant, birds sang, and sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating a dappled pattern on the wooden floor.

Tiffany heard a low sigh beside her and turned her head, seeing him closing his eyes.

“What’s in your mind?” She asked

Taeyeon shook his head lightly and opened his eyes. "Nothing, it just…your treehouse is amazing. It’s so peaceful here"

Tiffany smiled. "Thank you. Leo and I built this when I was 10. Leo showed me a drawing of the treehouse, and we built it together."

"By yourselves? Just the two of you?" He asked, surprised.

"Nah, Daddy helped too. We couldn't have done it on our own."

"I must say, you both have amazing imaginations. It's like a hidden world up here. I might prefer living here over my house."

Tiffany chuckled "You're weird. Why choose this place over your house?"

"This place suits me better. The city is too noisy." He explained it shortly.

"You know, when I was a kid, I had this ridiculous imagination."

"What was it?"

Tiffany smiled, looking up. "I wanted to be a princess living in a treehouse, just like in a fairytale. Then I'd wait for the handsome prince to come to me."

"Like Rapunzel?" Taeyeon asked, receiving a nod.

Taeyeon scoffed, "That's weirder than me."

"That was when I was a kid, okay. Better than you who prefers living here."

"It's not a problem. I can renovate this place to suit me better."

Tiffany tilted her head. "Find your own tree. This is a no-touch zone. It holds a lot of memories for me."

Taeyeon turned his head, looking her in the eyes. "Just kidding. Why would I do such a thing?" He paused, gazing out the window again before continuing, "What kind of memories do you have here?"

Tiffany raised her eyes before responding, "Hmm... when I was younger, I used to come here to hide whenever Daddy scolded me."

"I bet you sulked with your dad."

"I was, of course. When all I did was put a freaking frog inside Leo's shoes, Daddy scolded me a lot!" Her voice resonated with frustration, but it quickly faded as she heard light laughing from the person next to her.

Tiffany turned her head and saw the guy giggle. She observed him.

"Frog? Are you serious?" He said before turning his body to her. Tiffany did the same as him and their eyes met.

"Yeah," She replied.

"It's no surprise that your father was angry. Why would you do such a thing?" He asked, his smile still on his face.

"Because Leo irritated me a lot. and he played a lot of pranks on me when we were kids, but I only got my revenge once, and Daddy scolded me so hard. I used to wonder why I was born with a brother like him."

"But you get along now that you're older, right?"

"Yeah, childhood is just a memory of us not being mature yet."

"Isn't it wonderful to have siblings?" Taeyeon asked.

Tiffany rolled her eyes. "It was wonderful, but it got irritating with all the pranks."

"At least you're not lonely. You have someone to play with."

Tiffany paused, studying Taeyeon’s face. "Do you feel lonely? For not having siblings?"

He shrugged before turning his body again to stare out of the window roof. "I used to, but it didn't bother me much. I spent a lot of time with my cousin. We practically grew up together."

"Yuri?" Tiffany remembered he mentioned about his cousin before.

He nodded. "Yeah. Just like you and Leo have this place, we had this favorite hiding spot in the basement of our family villa. Every summer, we'd go there for a short vacation. When we wanted to avoid getting scolded by mom, we'd sneak into the basement and hide." Taeyeon smiled at the memories, unaware of Tiffany watching him.
