It’s been one month since our school started and all I can say is it is already hell. 

 

This renowned school, synonymous with unyielding standards, served as a beacon of academic excellence. The entrance exam, a formidable hurdle, admitted only 2 out of every 5 test takers into its revered halls. The odds were imposing, yet I passed the exam.

 

Duh, ako pa? Para saan mga review ko if hindi ko pagbubutihan sa mismong entrance exam.

 

Pero seryoso, I did my best in reviewing all the scope and tips that I got from Reddit. Sino ba naman hindi? eh puro bad experience nababasa ko. Para daw kasing UPCAT, USTET and ACET yung exam pero mas mahirap version. 

 

Ang fun ng experience ko mga bhie! Habang sinasagutan ko yung Math iniisip ko na yung future ko, like saang branch ba ako ng Mcdo magtatrabaho

 

Grabe! Saang lupalop ng mundo nila kinuha yung mga tanong?

 

Entrance exam ba ito for SHS? Parang pang Harvard na kasi mga teh!

 

Yes, they are correct! Hindi lang oras kalaban mo kundi kabobohan din. Ewan ko ba, parang pang college na yung mga questions eh incoming Grade 11 palang ako?

 

Anyways, let’s just forget that dreadful exam. Sana lang talaga kabaligtaran ito ng mga sabi-sabi sa UP. 

 

“Mahirap makapasok pero madaling makalabas” Sana ganito. Ang unfair naman kasi if hindi huhu guide me Daddy God!. 

 

Papunta na ako sa classroom. It is located on the third floor. I chose to take the stairs. Ginagawa kong exercise ito since busy talaga sa school, trabaho, and sa bahay kaya walang time para mag workout.

 

Pero sa totoo lang, nahihilo kasi ako sa elevator lalo na baba taas ito lagi. Ano daw? Self? malamang elevator yan gaga.

 

“Rina!” Ningning shouted.

 

Nakakatawa talaga ‘tong babaeng ‘to. Bakit parang alam niya yata anong oras ako sumusulpot sa stairs. 

 

“Narinig mo na ba yung chismis?” Ito nanaman siya. Umagang umaga chismis nanaman ang magiging almusal ko.

 

“Hindi pa. About saan ba?” 

 

“May transferee daw!” Hala ate girl o kuya. Huwag niyo na pong ituloy kung gusto n’yo pong mabuhay pa. 

 

Wow, self? Akala mo naman hindi mo choice na pumasok sa school na ito. Pero gora lang, all I can say is…amen!!  

 

“Gwapo ba?”

 

“She’s a girl, but, yes!! Gwapo siya!” 

 

“Totropahin,” I said while putting my bag on my chair.
