Soyun entered the lobby and almost stumbled on the flat surface as she suddenly stopped. She was almost running to get here when she knew that he was here. Soyun looked around excitedly among the sea of faces that was hanging in their office lobby while trying to catch her breath and containing the happiness that she feels knowing she can see him.

Her world stop when she saw him sitting on of the couches and a smile bloomed on her face. She immediately patted her hair making sure it was in place and took deep calm breaths so as not to look too flustered. She then started to go to where he was sitting.

Annyeong oppa! Long time no see…Soyun practices the line in her head trying different tones to make sure that she won’t sound too enthusiastic or too distant.

However, Soyun’s steps faltered as she comes nearer to where he was sitting until she totally stopped from walking. People just passed around her without noticing, one even accidentally stumbled onto her and she didn’t even budge. She was just continually staring at him, her surroundings non-existent. He didn’t notice her approaching and her smile dropped. He was engrossed in reading a magazine that was provided by the company for visitors. He had a frown on his face.

Soyun raised her hand unsteadily, her heart beating loudly. She then gently twitched her forefinger as if easing the frown on his face even from afar, although he still looked perfect even with a scowl. Soyun chuckled lightly at her thoughts and stared at him, as if memorizing his face, the frown on his forehead, the pout on his lips and his mesmerizing eyes that she seem to can’t say no to. She haven’t seen for two months since he was busy going around the world with his group SHINee.

These quiet times when no one can see her, are the only times when she can stare at him longingly.

Right now, how she wish she could see his smile and hear his laughter. She missed how he brightens up her world.

Soyun slowly lowered her raised arm and placed it back on her side as reality came crashing onto her. No matter how she tries to ease the frown, she was not the one who can make him happy.

And that alone breaks her heart.
