Haneul dashed out of her room and gave her father a quick kiss before hurrying off to her third job for the day. Balancing three jobs, she was determined to make ends meet, and this new job paid more than the others, which made her even more excited about going there.

The restaurant bar, Twilight, was hosting its annual event tonight, promising a bustling crowd and plenty of gigs, translating to abundant cash for the workers. Haneul, in particular, had a golden opportunity to perform a couple of songs for the event, gaining valuable experience and potential tips from the customers.

For Haneul, a struggling musician, this small stage was a significant milestone. It marked the beginning of her journey toward becoming a solo musician. The bar was already filling up with customers, many of them regulars and close friends of the owner. While some enjoyed discounted drinks and food, the atmosphere was promising for Haneul and her boss.

As Haneul set up her keyboard on stage, her boss motioned for her to come off stage. "Thank you for this opportunity, Mr. Park. I'm really grateful," she said humbly, bowing several times.

Mr. Park waved his hand dismissively. "No need to thank me. Just make sure to entertain the audience, alright? And remember, you're working overtime tonight." Mr. Park had been one of the few listeners of Haneul's songs. His late daughter's memory had prompted him to give Haneul a chance.

"I will, Mr. Park. Thank you so much!" Haneul bowed deeply before returning to the stage. She was scheduled as the first performer for the night, which was a great start considering the famous band D'Rockz would be the final act.

After setting up her equipment, she headed to the counter to assist with drink preparations. There, she overheard the event organizer's distress. "D'Rockz is going to be late, sir. We're short on performers for the night. I'm afraid the crowd won't wait 30 minutes with no entertainment..."

Mr. Park appeared calm but stress lingered in his eyes. "How about we have Haneul perform a few extra songs?" the organizer suggested.

"No, Haneul's still new... Her act can't compare to D'Rockz." Mr. Park responded. "I don't want her to face an angry crowd without proper experience."

Just then, Haneul stepped closer, interjecting, "I could perform some songs outside my usual genre... It might buy time until the main event arrives."

"Haneul, the crowd prefers rock music... Your style is a bit softer," Mr. Park explained.

"I won't perform my own songs, sir," Haneul reassured. "I'll do a cover and maybe just one of my own. Please, let me help." She smiled brightly. Mr. Park hesitated but eventually agreed to let her perform longer, allowing time for D'Rockz to arrive.

Meanwhile, Changsub had come across a flyer for the bar's event a week earlier and decided to drop by for some drinks. He wasn't expecting anyone he knew to be there since it was a small family-owned bar. Taking a seat in a dim corner, he ordered a bottle of beer and observed the unfamiliar faces around.

His attention was soon captured by a girl taking the stage. She greeted the audience cheerfully before the bar's owner addressed the crowd. Changsub listened intently, feeling a sense of ease in this atmosphere. As the girl introduced herself, her vibrant energy seemed out of place among the patrons, yet
