Prologue

“Do you have a dream?”

“…No.”

“Well…I do! You want to know?”

“No.”

“Want to guess?”

“No.”

“Aww. Come on. Come on. Pleeease. Just once?”

She eyed the very noticeable card pinned on the blonde taxi driver’s sleeve: Kim Taeyeon. “#1 Taxi Driver in Seoul!” was scribbled below the name.

“#1 Taxi Driver in the world?”

“Ohhh. Soo close! Think larger.”

“What? What’s bigger than the world?”

The silver taxi gently halted at the red traffic light.

“The universe.” Taeyeon turned her head towards her beautiful customer. She flashed a large grin and her eyes almost seemed to sparkle.

Staring at her dorky taxi driver, Tiffany scoffed. “There are no taxis in space.”

“How do you know?” The car started to move again, its speed slowly rising.

“…Because I know.”

“How?”

“…Do you really believe there are taxis in space? If they existed, I would’ve seen some by now!”

“Well, you never know. But if there are no taxis in space, then I’ll make sure there are.”

Taeyeon easily maneuvered her taxi through a tight turn.

“How are you going to manage that?”

The taxi stopped at its destination, a small apartment. Tiffany pulled out a 5,000 won bill from her wallet. “Keep the change.”

Grabbing the bill, Taeyeon handed her customer a card. “My information,” she winked. “Just in case you need to me to pick you up.”

Tiffany reluctantly took the card into her hand as she stepped out of the taxi. She shivered as the cold air swept her long, dark brown hair across her face.  

Taeyeon waved goodbye through the car window. “Hope I see you again. Oh, and make sure to check out the back of that card. Bye~” Blowing a kiss toward her customer, the taxi driver drove off.

Tiffany turned over the small card. The back of the card was scrawled on in messy handwriting: “How am I going to manage to put taxis in space? I. Just. Can. I’m Kim Taeyeon, for god’s sake. Future #1 taxi driver in the universe. Oh, maybe ruler of the universe too but I’m getting a bit ahead of myself there. If it’s me, I can do anything. And you can do anything too, so smiiiile. Like this -> :D”

A small smile crossed Tiffany’s lips as she read the message from her taxi driver. It was a nice feeling. How long has it been since she truly smiled? And she was confused. How could a taxi driver she knew for about ten minutes cheer her up so easily? Maybe Taeyeon was right…maybe Taeyeon really could do anything. Tiffany walked into her apartment, a beautiful smile still alive on her lips. She safely tucked in Taeyeon’s card into her pink purse. After all, she never knew when she needed an emergency taxi driver to save her.

A/N: S: Hello! Thanks for reading this story. As of right now, this fic will not be updated very frequently as I'm trying to finish another fic "Hope For Tomorrow". I'm posting up another new fic too. Kill me. V is also creating another story too: "Heaven vs Hell". Haha we're now joining the other authors with too many stories. I just wanted to post this up just so I remember it and I HAD to write it. I was getting so much inspiration. LOL Thank you once again!

This fic idea randomly came to me. Obviously, it's based on SNSD's "Mr. Taxi". So don't shoot me; I know this is a common topic to write about. XD I'll do my best~
