"I love you Taemin.“

These are the words I wanted to hear, that is what I thought a long time. I should be happy. For almost two years now I had a crush on one of my best friends, Onew.

He was always nice to me, helpful and gentle.

Just like today. We had a great day. It was the third week of the summer holiday. Onew and I were outside, at the park eating ice cream and talking about everything and nothing.

Just like we always did on summer, since we were little kids.

And now this guy who I know since I was a little kid is confessing his love to me.

I always had feelings for him, strong feelings, and at first they just were on a frienship base but then, I don’t know how my feelings for him began to rise, but it all started about two years ago.

At that time he was 18 and I was 14.

I noticed his beauty as we made a sleepover at his house. We were watching a movie. I still don’t remember what we were watching because I got so distracted by him. He was watching the movie with a smile on his face, which is practically always there. He looked so happy and calm. I felt so comfortable around him. And I just couldn’t get my eyes off of him. Of course soon he noticed that I was staring at him and he looked back at me. I blushed immediately as his eyes caught mine.

With his finger pointing at himself and a questioningface expression he asked “Is there something on my face?”

 I couldn’t get a word out and just shook my head and blinked like hundred of times, which is what I always do when I get nervous.

Yeah, that was the moment when I started liking Onew in a ‘more than just a friend’ way. 

And these feelings developed further with everyday. Everyday he was being nice, polite, funny and he even asked me every time when there was the last piece of chicken if I wanted to have it. Of course I always said ‘no’ because I know how much he loves chicken. That sounds maybe stupid, but I felt special when he asked me that. He would never share his chicken with anyone….but me.
