rules of loving you

Jimin's gaze was fixed on Minjeong, her expression etched with deep concern. She had never seen her girlfriend in such a state before, and it pained her to see her so afraid.

Minjeong's eyes were wide with fear, darting around the room as if she was searching for something to hold onto. Her breathing was ragged and uneven, and her entire body trembled uncontrollably. It was as if she was being consumed by her own fear.

Jimin took a step forward, hoping to offer Minjeong some comfort, but as soon as she did, Minjeong recoiled, backing away as if she was afraid of her own shadow. It was as if her fear was taking on a life of its own, twisting and turning inside her until it consumed her completely.

Despite her own fears and anxieties, Jimin refused to let Minjeong suffer alone. She knew she had to do something, anything, to calm her girlfriend down before things got any worse. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself, before taking another step forward.

"Minjeong, please," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "It's okay. You're safe."

But Minjeong shook her head, her eyes darting around again. Her breathing grew even more ragged, and her trembling intensified.

Jimin's heart ached as she watched Minjeong like this. She knew how terrifying it was to feel like you were losing control, like your own mind was turning against you. But she refused to let Minjeong face it alone.

She took another step forward, reaching out a hand towards her girlfriend. "Minjeong, please," she said again, her voice soft but firm. "Look at me. Focus on my voice. Breathe with me."

But Minjeong shook her head again, her breathing coming in short gasps. "No, no, this can't be happening," she gasped. "I must be dreaming. Am I dreaming?"

"Minjeong, listen to me," Jimin said, her voice steady and calm. "You're not dreaming. You're not losing your mind. You're just seeing things clearly for the first time."

Minjeong looked at Jimin, confusion and fear written all over her face. "What do you mean?" she whispered.

Jimin took a deep breath and closed her eyes. She knew what she was about to do could change everything, but she couldn't stand to see Minjeong suffer like this any longer. She opened her eyes and looked at Minjeong, and with a deep sense of purpose, she let her true form be revealed.

As Jimin's wings unfurled from her back, they seemed to stretch out endlessly, each feather perfectly placed, creating a breathtaking display of white and gold. The feathers themselves were almost translucent, seeming to glow with a soft, warm light. As they expanded, Minjeong took a step back, almost losing her balance in the process.

Her eyes widened even further as she took in the sight before her, struggling to comprehend what was happening. She could hardly believe her own eyes as Jimin's wings continued to spread out, the sheer size of them leaving her awestruck. As the wings stretched out, Jimin's halo began to glow brighter, creating a radiant aura around her. The light that emanated from it was blinding, but at the same time, comforting, as if it was casting away all of the darkness that surrounded them.

Minjeong let out a yelp of surprise, her voice barely above a whisper, as she tried to take in everything that was happening. Her heart was pounding so hard in her chest that she was sure Jimin could hear it.

"I'm an angel," Jimin said, her voice barely above a whisper. "And I'm here to protect you."

But Minjeong just couldn't seem to wrap her head around the situation. She stared at Jimin, still not quite believing what she was seeing. "This is insane," she muttered.

Jimin couldn't help but smile at the absurdity of it all. She knew it wasn't funny, but something about Minjeong's reaction was making her want to laugh. So she took a step closer, her wings rustling slightly, and held out her hand.

"Come on," she said, her tone gentle. "Let me show you something."

Minjeong hesitated, her eyes flickering nervously between Jimin's face and her outstretched hand. For a moment, it seemed as if she might pull away, but then she took a deep breath and nodded.

Jimin smiled softly and took Minjeong's hand in hers, leading her over to a full-length mirror in the corner of the room. She stood behind Minjeong and began to point out things about herself.

"Look at my wings," Jimin spread out her wings, which were large and majestic, with feathers of different shapes and colors. Minjeong gasped in amazement, her eyes widening as she took in the sight before her.

The feathers were arranged in layers, each one fitting perfectly with the others to create a seamless structure that looked like it could withstand anything. Jimin's wingspan was impressive, easily reaching several feet across the room. As Minjeong examined them more closely, she noticed that each feather was indeed unique, with different patterns and textures that made them stand out from one another. Some were smooth and sleek, while others were fluffy and soft to the touch.

She could almost feel the feathers moving under her fingers, as if they were alive and reacting to her presence. The intricate details of each feather were simply stunning, and Minjeong couldn't help but stare in wonder.

"They're beautiful," Minjeong whispered, barely able to take her eyes off Jimin's wings. "I've never seen anything like them before."

Jimin smiled at her, her eyes glowing with pride. "They're a part of who I am, Minjeong," she said. "And they're one of the things that make me an angel. With these wings, I can fly and move with ease, and I can protect those who need it most."

Minjeong felt a sudden warmth spread through her chest as she gazed at Jimin's wings. She was amazed by how strong and graceful they looked, how they seemed to embody everything that was pure and good in the world.

She pulled back, a little unsure of what to do.

Jimin seemed to sense her hesitation, and she reached out to take Minjeong's hand, squeezing it gently. "It's okay," she said.

She knew that there was so much more to Jimin than just her wings and halo, but for now, she was content to simply bask in the wonder of it all.

"And my halo," Jimin continued, gesturing towards the shimmering ring of light above her head. "It's a symbol of my angelic nature, a sign that I'm here to protect and guide those in need."

Minjeong nodded, still transfixed by the sight before her. She couldn't believe that the woman she loved was an angel, with wings and a halo and all. It was like something out of a fairytale.

"But there's one thing," Jimin said, her voice suddenly serious. "Don't touch my halo, okay? It's important."

Minjeong nodded, a little surprised by the sudden shift in tone. "Why not?" she asked, her curiosity getting the best of her.

"It's...complicated," Jimin said, her expression pained. "Let's just say that it's not something that's meant for human hands."

Jimin paused for a moment before continuing, her eyes fixed on her halo. "My halo is a representation of my divine nature and a manifestation of the light that guides me in my mission to protect and guide humanity. It's a symbol of the power and responsibility that comes with being an angel, and it's not something to be taken lightly." She took a deep breath before continuing, "You see, Minjeong, the energy that emanates from my halo is incredibly potent and can have a profound impact on those around me. It's not uncommon for those who come into contact with it to feel overwhelmed or even faint from the intensity of the energy." Jimin's tone was serious as she explained the dangers of touching her halo. "If someone were to touch my halo, they could be exposed to an immense amount of divine energy, which could have serious consequences for their physical and spiritual well-being. It's not something to be toyed with."

Minjeong listened carefully, her mind racing with questions and curiosity. She couldn't believe that the woman she loved was an angel, and the weight of the responsibility Jimin carried was overwhelming. Jimin noticed that Minjeong was still staring at the halo above her head. She could see the awe in Minjeong's eyes, but also the curiosity. Jimin knew that her halo was a source of fascination for humans, but it was also a source of danger. She had to make sure that Minjeong understood the importance of not touching it.

With a heavy heart, Jimin decided to hide her halo. She concentrated her energy and the shimmering ring of light slowly faded away, leaving her head bare. Minjeong looked confused, but Jimin knew that it was for the best. She couldn't risk Minjeong getting hurt.

"It's better this way," Jimin said, forcing a smile. "I don't want to risk hurting you by accident."

"Jimin, could you hide your wings for a moment?" Minjeong asked shyly. "I just really want to hug you, and I don't want to hurt you."

Jimin looked at Minjeong with a soft smile and nodded. "Of course, my love," she said, as she closed her eyes, and a sense of deep concentration overtook her. She focused on the energy that flowed within her body, and with a few swift movements, her wings began to fold up, and a warm golden light radiated from her back. The feathers rustled gently as they retracted, folding in on themselves, like a book being closed.

It was a strange sensation, as if something were slipping away from her, yet at the same time, it was a relief. The immense weight of her wings lifted, and she felt lighter, more agile, more like her human self.

Minjeong embraced Jimin tightly, feeling the warmth of her body against her own. She closed her eyes and felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew that Jimin was different, but in that moment, she felt like they were just two people in love, holding each other close.

As Jimin held Minjeong in her arms, she could feel her tense body begin to melt into her embrace. She held her tightly, pressing a soft kiss to the top of her head as Minjeong spoke softly.

"I'm scared, Jimin," she murmured, her voice trembling slightly. "I don't know how we'll get through this."

Jimin pulled back slightly to look into Minjeong's eyes. "Hey, hey," she said softly, cupping Minjeong's face in her hands. "We'll get through this together, I promise."

She leaned in and pressed her lips to Minjeong's forehead before continuing. "I know it's scary, but we have each other, and that's what matters most. No matter what happens, we'll face it together, okay?"

Minjeong nodded, her eyes shining with unshed tears as she looked up at Jimin with a mix of love and vulnerability. "Okay," she whispered. "Together."
