Title from Eat Your Heart Out by Walk the Moon. This fic is dedicated to Dez, who bears my Johnwan brainrot with enjoyment and responds in kind.

WARNING for #3: I describe fatphobia and its effects on Jiwan briefly. I also discuss Jiwan's history of ual assault in non-grievous terms. Between the way she talked about it on the show and the fact that Johnwan get canonically married, I am taking the liberty of presuming that Jiwan's healing leads to empowerment with regards to her uality and needs. Of course, recovering from trauma looks different for everyone and may not include that path. That all being said: if you wanted a hurt/comfort, first-time-esque kind of description to Johnwan's life, you will not be finding that here.

Chapter 1: OHHEMMMGEEEE a fanfic of my favorite couple from the drama!!!

I'm really not expecting much from this fiction (so sorry 🥹), but author-njm, you blew my mind and heart. Ohemmgeee. This is so beautiful! The emotions, the kilig, the almost break up and reconciliation, even the very quick wedding, everything made me feel the right emotions.

I also appreciate the fact that you still kept characteristics (Jiwan with her shy but confident and sincere actions, and John's confident but loving and caring side). I like what you did in the reconciliation scene. Instead of either of them rushing to surprise each other in their own imprint events, they reconciled and talked it out in the front door of their shared condo, which is a good callback of John's confession in the drama. Proving that in good or bad times, they will always end up together and will understand each other, and ofc be together in their home.
