"Today, I put my arm around winter for the first time"

Winter laughs embarrassed.

"I always wanted to do that. My heart fluttered"

"Unn-ie? Ne???" Winter couldn't believe what Wendy was saying. She couldn't help but feel delighted over the older's sudden confession.

Both were in a fit of giggles for a while, with the younger hiding her embarrassment by asking what the older meant.

"Musun mariyeyoo"

"I always wanted to do that" Wendy added laughing, she couldn't hold her cheesiness in.

After their behind the scenes take, Winter saw her other member who was monitoring their scene.

"Aigoo jal haesso minjeong-i~" Karina greeted the youngest member with some pats on her . "You should go ahead and rest before your next scene"

Ahh finally, Winter though to herself. "Eungg, good luck on your shoot. I'll take a quick nap"

"Btw you and wendy-sunbaenim's tension was something else" the leader said laughing.

Winter’s mouth automatically smiled at the mention of the Wendy's name.

"Yah I can't believe her confession either! She said she was treating us to MarO Kurly, I didn't know it was because of the arm-thing too" the youngest blushed at the memory.

"Yeah and you kept looking at her with your puppy eyes. You looked like a love-struck puppy waiting to get adopted!" Karina teased the maknae.

"Ne did I really??"

"See for yourself" Karina pointed at the nearest monitor which was replaying their scenes from earlier.

Winter watched it intently, both curious and amused as to whether her face revealed more of her emotions. As the recording played on she noticed how her gaze would soften every time Wendy spoke. She noted how comfortable she was during the interview, and how naturally Wendy was able to bring out Minjeong, not Winter, out. Aside from her family and her members, few people were able to break through that facade.

She smiled at herself when Wendy's sudden confession was played again, and she felt as flustered as when they were shooting. The familiar butterflies swirling around her stomach once more.

However, Winter being the maknae, and having no experience whatsoever with said foreign emotions, quickly dismissed the idea. What she did choose to go with it instead, was that this was a clear indicator of hunger. As she had not yet eaten breakfast nor lunch, and time was slowly creeping toward dinner. So, she quickly excused herself and made her way to the changing rooms to order food and finally, take that much needed nap.

Wendy POV

"Ahh jinjja seungwan-ah. Couldn't you have played it a little more cool" Wendy scolded herself. She too was taking a break (should have been taking a break) but her mind kept replaying the earlier shoot with Winter.

"What if she thinks I’m weird, or if it was too forward?? I mean I just spoke my mind and I did really like the scene where I put my arm around her shoulder...but did she need to know that????? Arghhh son seungwan!!!" Wendy grabbed at her hair in frustration.

*Meanwhile outside of the changing room*

"Oh isn't that Wendy unnie's voice?" Winter had just come from monitoring with Karina and was a few feet away from the changing room. She happily skipped toward the door, not knowing the older was in the midst of a very heated debate against herself.

"Wendy unnie~~" the younger called while opening the door.

Wendy, recognizing Winter's voice right away, quickly got a hold of herself and started playing it cool. She promptly leaned back on the sofa and crossed her arms in front of her,  QUICK TRY TO LOOK BUSY SEUNGWAN-AH!

What greeted Winter when she opened the door was her sunbaenim sitting at the sofa, and was very intently studying…...the ceiling? The maknae looked at the older, then up at the ceiling, then back at the older while trying to determine what it was that her unnie was staring at. "Unnie, is there something wrong with the lights...?"

As if by habit (of I don't know maybe being a radio DJ for almost two years and counting), Wendy immediately switched to the welcome-the-guest segment, taking extremely good care not to let the younger know how incredibly embarrassed she was.

"Ahh Winter-ssi! Nothing, nothing don't worry about it. I was....sleeping?" She mentally face-palmed herself for not thinking before she spoke.

'With your eyes wide open?" The corner of winter's mouth slowly formed a smile, Wendy being silly was one of the main reasons why she liked her.

"Y-yeh? Ahaha" The older painstakingly tried to inch her way out of the awkwardness by clearing . "So have you had lunch yet?" She stated, quicky trying to move away from the topic.

Winter gave her a look that said ‘Oh I am going to tease you more about this later on’ but decided to act on the *different* rumbling in her stomach.

"Aniyo, I was about to order late lunch. What about you unnie?"

"Oh that's good, I was about to order food as well" Wendy reached for her phone that was on the table while winter settled in on the seat next to her.

"Do you like galbitang?" Wendy asked the girl beside her.

"Ye~ I love galbitang"

"Can you fry things up?"

"Ah geuromyo"

"Without burning it?"

"Geuromyoo"

"Can you cut things up as well?"

"Ahh geuromyoo~"

Wendy giggled at the youngest's exasperated voice. Winter was too cute for her own good, and was just adorable when teased. The older noticed how the maknae's cheeks turned full when she half-pouted, half-smiled. It was one of the reasons why she liked her.

"Arasseo, five orders of galbitang for the staff as well. I'll add strawberries also." the staff inside the room cheered at Wendy's remark. Indeed, mother wenresa never changes.

Safe to say, Winter was impressed at Wendy's act of kindness. As evidenced by the :o look she had on. She heard from the staff how Wendy was always looking out for them. Buying the meals whenever she could, cracking jokes, and really really tried to get to know each and every one of the staff.

"Yah joshimae, I might really fall in love with you this time" one of the younger staff teased the idol. The whole room hollered at the staff's confession, the room eventually erupting into a fit of laughter from everyone inside.

Winter who was watching the whole scene unfold couldn't help but laugh as well. She loved how Wendy made everything so easy and comfortable and couldn't help but stare lovingly at the girl who was playfully bowing at the staff, as if she received an encore stage. The younger suddenly remembered the scene that Karina pointed out during their shoot, and suddenly, for the first time, she had a sinking feeling that these butterflies in her stomach, were more than just her MarO Kurly cravings.
