"C'mon Hae, let's sleep. It's late."

"I just wanna look just a little longer..."

Donghae sat in front of his tiny tree, the flickering lights scattering across his face.

"You know, right?"

Donghae turned to Hyukjae, smiling innocently.

"Know what?"

"Know that Santa isn't-"

"Santa isn't what?"

Hyukjae was caught in Donghae's stare, unable to look away from his wide eyes as he tried to explain that some jolly old man wasn't going to magically appear overnight.

"Santa isn't-He isn't..."

Did Donghae's eyes always sparkle so brightly? Hyukjae gulped.

"He isn't, uh, going to come unless we go to sleep."

Donghae sprang to his feet. "You're right!!" He grabbed Hyukjae's arm, pulling him off the couch. "Let's go to sleep right now!!"

Hyukjae sighed, but smiled fondly. It's okay to tell a little lie, right? As long as Donghae's happy.
