final

gentle(man) mornings

10 years of setting the alarm at this time didn’t make Tiffany like it any better.

Even at the slightest bit of consciousness, she could feel the throbbing pain that settled in her temples. Her limbs were sore, wobbly, and tingling which all the more made her less inclined to stand up.

“Dear god…” Cursing herself once again, she slowly wiggled her way over to the alarm clock then slammed her hand lazily. Much to her dismay, it continued beeping irritatingly.

“Aish–” She poked her head and was about to turn it off again when she realised it was only 8am. It’s not supposed to go off for another 2 hours.

All senses came rushing back to her when she finally registered the unfamiliar bedside table, her mattress and pillow, heck– even the clock was not hers.

“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.” She quickly sat herself up on the bed. With a wave of panic, the first thing she did was lift the blanket and slowly peeked under the covers. At this point in life, she was definitely no longer a , but she still kept her own dignity and self-respect by doing it with people she deeply trusted.

A heavy sigh of relief overcame her when she saw that her clothes were still in one piece, seemingly untouched. She fiddled with it more just to double check, then put a hand on her chest when everything seemed to be dry and in pristine condition.

Tiffany let herself rest for a minute. Processing all this while battling an overwhelming headache wasn’t the best way to start a morning, more so when the thought came to her that she didn’t even know if the owner of the house was a man or a woman. She shivered at either thought.

Her phone was right beside her, though it wasn’t her main priority as of the moment. She quickly stood up, which turned out to be the wrong move as she fumbled back and forth on the bedside. After steadying herself, she examined her surroundings to get any clue as to whose house this belonged to.

It wasn’t that hard considering there were tons of picture frames lying around, but finding out the owner made Tiffany wish she hadn’t.

Super Junior albums, family photos, certificates from UNICEF… She bit her lip.

No way. No fuc—

She teetered her way to the desk in front of her where a bundle of clothes was tidily folded. On top of it all was a small note, written in a neat penmanship that only confirmed her worst fears.

Good morning, Tiffany-sshi. I'm running my morning errands so I unfortunately cannot meet you

however, here’s some clothes you can change to if you choose to take a shower.

Toiletries and other stuff are already in the bathroom. Please make yourself at home.

And that was it. She double-checked the backside just in case she missed something only to find a blank page. Sighing, she put the note down and examined the clothes. They were mostly a size or two larger than hers, a shirt and some cycling shorts. However, what piqued both her interest and confusion the most was the newly-bought set of underwear, still wrapped in its packaging, sitting idly on the side.

Her face heated up as a million questions raced in her mind. How? Why? What…? When she could feel the migraine starting to form in her mind, she shook herself clear of the thoughts and decided it would be best to ask the questions later. She took the clothes and stepped into the bathroom.

The first thing that greeted her was the horde of products on the counter. She briefly skimmed over them, and that was when she caught a glimpse of her reflection in the mirror.

‘He took off my makeup…?’

It was a simple gesture but an appreciated one, nonetheless. Tiffany had her fair share of sleeping-in-makeup before and she knew first hand the consequences to her physical appearance. The gratitude was only multiplied tenfold considering she was an idol, and looks was one of the main selling points.

The shower took longer than she intended, as she spent the first 5 minutes fiddling with the heater and praying that she did it right and wasn’t about to destroy an expensive system this early in the morning. It proved to be a good cure though, the soreness across her body was alleviated by the hot water, and her consciousness became clearer after.

She put her hair up in a turban and sat on the bed for a small while. In those quiet 10 minutes, she took the much needed time to recap whatever bits and pieces she could recollect from last night. Unfortunately for her, all that came was darkness. She literally could not remember anything past the point where Sooyoung told her that she wouldn’t be able to come, and with that she plopped on the bed and screamed.

Even her moment of peace was interrupted by a gurgling noise. Her stomach… Really, sometimes she wished she was less of a glutton. And she wished even more that she should be less easily swayed by these sorts of temptation. Standing up, she wasted no time to head out of the room.

“OH MY GOD–”

Her heart almost pounded out of her ribcage when her eyes met a familiar face. It caught her so off guard that she almost lost all sense of formality and grace. Almost.

“Oh, you’re awake.” A dimpled smile greeted her. If she wasn’t already red from the migraines she was having, she certainly would’ve by now.

“Siwon-oppa!” Tiffany’s face contorted awkwardly. “You’re here.” Calming her nerves, she let out a sheepish smile.

‘Really? It’s his house, Tiffany.’

She realised after a while that the man was in the complete opposite state as her. He was fully awake, the beads of sweat and sporty fit telling her that he had started his own morning hours ago. How the heck could somebody be so energetic this early in the morning? Though with what she knew of the man, that didn’t surprise her at all.

“Good morning to you too. I already prepared some breakfast and drinks on the table outside. You can eat ahead, I’ll just go take a shower.” Siwon smiled, bowed curtly, then made his way past her.

A million questions raced into her mind but she decided it would be best to give the poor man some time to prepare before she’d get into interrogating.

The door locked behind her and Tiffany tiptoed her way towards the living quarters. Though Siwon was all polite and cordial in his praises, she couldn’t help but feel so ashamed at this point in her life. She felt like a trespasser, a criminal— far worse, however, she felt like a toddler. Lost, hopeless, and just a tad bit annoying to everyone.

She must’ve been such an inconvenience.

Nonetheless, just like he said, on the marble countertops lay some food containers and drink bottles. One of the cartons had a Caesar salad while the others had salmon cuts and rice. She also noticed that some bananas and mangoes were pre-cut on a plate and a whole box of energy drinks were waiting for her. At the sight, she couldn’t help but feel even worse.

Tiffany sat on one of the high chairs and banged her head on the countertop. She groaned.

“Tiffany… You’re such an idiot.”

Although she didn’t want to, it would be an absolute lie if she said she wasn’t hungry. Besides, it would be even more improper for her to decline the food that someone else took time to prepare for her.

One by one, she munched on the assortment of breakfast that was laid out in front of her. A cut of salmon, a piece of banana, an embarrassingly unhealthy chug of that energy drink; when she was feeling better, she decided to check out her phone for everything she missed that night.

‘34 unread messages. 2 missed calls from YURIAAAAA.’

Any other day she would’ve been surprised. This was suspiciously too little content for the status that she held as an idol. Nonetheless, it was a free day for her which is why it was only some chats from her members and social media recommendations that flooded her notifs last night.

She was busy fiddling with her phone when she heard the click of the door and it opening shortly thereafter. Once again, the dread that left for a fleeting moment came crashing down upon her. Her body stiffened and she tried her darndest to avoid looking at the man who just came out of the room.

It was silent for a few seconds.

Tiffany swore it was the longest 3 seconds of her life.

“Glad to see you enjoying your food. Are you feeling better now?”

The way his voice echoed throughout the room sent her into a wave of panic.

“Ah, yes. Thank you, it really was too much.” God, why was her voice so tiny?

“No, no. I know what it feels like to have a hangover. You need all of that, trust me.” He chuckled quietly and thank heavens that made her feel somewhat at ease.

Deciding to take her chance, she breathed in before taking a huge gulp from her drink.

“Uh… Siwon-oppa.”

“Yes?” The man who sat on the opposite side of the room stopped in the process of opening his newspaper. His eyes looked straight into hers and she wanted to melt into the floor then and there.

“I hope you don’t mind asking but… What happened last night?”

Siwon smiled softly and put the paper down. “Do you really want to know?”

“Oh god, I didn’t say something that would cost me my life, right?”

He laughed at the statement. The awkwardness was fading away from the atmosphere.

“Don’t worry, you said nothing embarrassing. Besides, if you did, I promise to keep my mouth shut.” He made a zipping gesture then clasped his hands. “Now, where to start? After meeting with some friends, I saw you on the bar already on the edge and…how do I say this? Someone was trying to advance inappropriately so I pretended to be your—” Siwon stopped and Tiffany saw him gulp before speaking.

“Companion.”

She honestly didn’t know if it was the leftover alcohol in her mind or it was simply the fact that she was naturally a slowpoke but it took a solid 5 minutes before the word registered in her head.

It took her another 5 minutes to realise what Siwon really meant.

“Oh.”

May all saints guide her right now because she was a hundred percent sure that her face was boiling up a cherry red. Thankfully, it didn’t seem like she was the only person in the room to react that way.

In less than a heartbeat, she was bowing 90 degrees repeatedly, shouting out various forms of ‘Sorry!’ and ‘Forgive me!’ to Siwon. All of the commotion led Siwon to panic and do the same and now here they were, 9am in the morning, exchanging reassurances to each other with little to no success; Tiffany almost at tears on asking for forgiveness and Siwon’s hands almost aching from gesturing ‘No, no, no!’ too many times.

“I’m really sorry, I should’ve handled myself better last night. I usually take alcohol well but last night I might’ve drank too much. Again, my sincerest apologies!”

Siwon, not knowing what to do, could only wave his hands in window wiper motions to calm her down. “It’s fine! It’s really fine, Tiffany-sshi. Please don’t worry, I was the one who decided to help and it’s also not right to just leave you there knowing you could be in danger. It wasn’t your fault that the guy was erted. Please don’t blame yourself for the wrongs of other people. ”

For some reason those words once again calmed her down. Still, she was genuinely sorry; not only for Siwon but also for herself. Who knew what else could’ve happened if he wasn’t there?

“Thank you for being there, I probably wouldn’t be safe if not for you. I really was just supposed to meet someone else but…”

“Tiffany-sshi, the reasons why we go to such places are for ourselves. You don’t need to explain anything to me.” Tiffany exhaled heavily, finding relief at his words. Her eyes naturally formed crescents even though the topic was serious. ‘Really… Siwon you’ve never changed. Always such a gentleman.’

“Though, I do want to say that you should look after yourself. Luckily I was there at the time but I’m not always with you.” He was right. It was such a coincidence that he was there at the right time, at the right place.

Taking it to heart, she smiled.

“I will.”

The loud bass of the speakers and colourful neon lights all seemed to fade into the background, melting into something all one and the same.

Tiffany was seated on one of the high chairs, taking on a shot of tequila and slamming the empty glass beside the half-empty bottle of Cuervo. Her black satin dress rode dangerously up her thigh, blazer loosely draped around her shoulders, and wavy platinum blonde hair slung over her shoulders.

She had been waiting for Sooyoung to arrive about an hour ago but then the latter had to cancel plans due to an emergency. Tiffany understood the decision. Still, her year of absence in Korea led her to spend the night for longer, and the loneliness eventually came in the form of consecutive shots of different types of drinks. Each hour, each minute, was a sip after the other.

Some people had tried to approach her. Even though she was on the 2nd floor that was reserved for VIPs, she couldn’t help but be infuriated by the amount of men and women trying to hit on her. She could see through it, of course, and declined each of them by (politely) saying that she was waiting for someone else (she wasn’t).

That was when she could even understand what was happening.

As time went by, she found herself losing more and more control over her body. Though there was still sense to her that gave way to some awareness of what was around her, it came in the form of a tiny little voice that was shoved at the furthest back part of her brain. Logical, sensible, and responsible, she found herself to be neither of those three as the night went on.

At one point, someone who had been observing her from afar noticed the circumstances and decided to make a move. The man was not known unlike the other guests but an enough to approach a drunk woman and take advantage of the situation. Clad in a half-ed polo fit complete with a loose tie on his neck, he tried showing off his own charm by smirking and brushing his hair with his fingers.

“A pretty lady like yourself shouldn’t be drinking alone.”

Though somewhat drunk, Tiffany could see right through the man's ego. “I enjoy drinking by myself, thank you very much.”

“Bet you’d enjoy it even more with me.” The man smirked and Tiffany covered her face with her hand to roll her eyes. She wanted to shoo him off but found herself saying nothing. Damn the alcohol that she kept drinking!

The man offered her a hand. “Daehyun.”

Fishing her phone out of her pocket, she pretended to receive a new message. “Sorry, my friend just told me he’s here. It’s my time to leave.” Though she pretended to be in control, the moment she tried standing up, her entire body started rocking back and forth. Her hand quickly made its way onto the countertop, trying to balance herself, while Daehyun immediately had his grip on her arm.

Too high. Too tight.

“You can’t go out there by yourself, I can take you home.” He offered, other hand suddenly finding her waist. Tiffany tried to wiggle him off and give him a forced smile but much to her dismay, parts of her body just weren't cooperating. “I-I’m fine. I have someone outside waiting for me.”

“No, no. My car is just outside–”

“Babe, sorry to keep you waiting.”

A deep voice cut through in the middle of the conversation. The new guest wore a simple white polo and suit pants though his figure and composure made the look jaw-dropping.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know Tiff invited a friend over." Siwon let out a dimpled smile and went towards Tiffany, who was leaning against the counter unaware of the commotion happening around her.

“Meeting went longer than expected. Let’s go, honey.” After emphasising the last word, he shot the man a threatening glare and took his erted hands away from the girl. Before the guy could even answer, they had already left the place and Siwon led her towards the parking lot where his car was parked.

Throughout the walk, she was unusually quiet, not the Tiffany he knew in the past when they were together. Her legs wobbled here and there but every time she tipped over, Siwon steadied her by wrapping an arm around her waist and holding her wrists.

He made sure she got into his car, blocking the railing with his hands in case she bumps her head on the metal. Once she was seated comfortably, he made sure to put on her seatbelt.

She watched her every move like a child eyeing candy and though silent, Siwon felt the hair on the back of his neck stand at the intense stare.

Siwon was already seated at the driver's side when she slurred.

"You look familiar… Like someone I know."

He smiled, realising that she was way past the drunken point. "Oh really? Can you remember who it is?"

He fixed some things in his car while listening to Tiffany enter a monologue. "Hmm… I can't quite put my finger on it but it's a member of Su…Ju? Do you know Super Junior?" The question caught him off guard and Siwon laughed. "Yes, I'm pretty familiar with them."

"Yunho oppa?” She spoke to herself. “No, no, Tiffany, Yunho oppa is not with SuJu. Leeteuk oppa? That's the same group." Tiffany thought hard and giggled childishly. Siwon could only watch in entertainment, an amused smile on his face. "But you don't look like Leeteuk oppa…" She paused for a few seconds.

"I got it! You look exactly like Shiiii-won oppa! That's amayyyy-zing." Her sudden English made everything seem funnier and Siwon continued on entertaining her.

"Siwon? Huh? What does he look like?"

"Pretty eyes, charming smile, his jawline could practically cut me in half. I remember him being one of the most handsome people I know… His dimples…” She sighed dreamily. “Did I forget to say he’s also, really, really kind hearted? He’s a walking street… sailor…No! Saint." Uh oh. The half-English half-Korean stream of compliments wasn't expected. Siwon felt his face heat up and he was suddenly blushing from the bombardment of kind words.

As if it wasn’t enough, she continued obliviously. "I really looked up to him back then, literally and figuratively, maybe too much."

He choked on his spit.

"You do know what I mean, right? I mean, who wouldn't?"

He knows he shouldn't be hearing this right now but what can he do? Push her out of the car after insisting to take her back home? And who would've guessed that SNSD Tiffany would be a chatty type of drunk? She was practically exposing herself left right and centre.

Deciding to brush it off, Siwon started the car, driving off straight into SNSD’s dorm and listening intently to the unending rants that Tiffany spat out. At one point, she went dead silent and Siwon looked to find that the girl had passed out leaning on the door. He chuckled softly to himself, seeing partly open and her head bumping against the window every now and then. At a stoplight, he made sure to fix her position so her head was resting comfortably against the seat.

It wasn’t 30 minutes when they arrived at the basement parking lot of the familiar building. Once the vehicle came to a halt, he fiddled with his car’s touchscreen and not soon after did a voice pick up.

“Hello? Oppa, why did you call?”

“Yuri, is anyone in your dorm right now?”

“Hyoyeon is out for a couple of days for vacation. Same goes for me. Why do you ask?” Siwon grimaced at the circumstances. Though he knew that the other SNSD members had their own homes that maybe he could drop her off to, travelling to the nearest one would take at least an hour. As of now, time was of the essence. He checked his watch and grimaced. 2am.

“I found Tiffany-sshi in a bar passed out and I was thinking of bringing her back to the dorm. It’s fine though, I can just take her to my house.”

He could practically see Yuri jumping out of shock. “Really?! Aish… That girl.” There was a pause. “Sorry, oppa. I think her manager is not on duty right now and the other members have their own schedules.”

“It’s fine, I’m not really busy. I’ll be heading off now. Thank you again, Yuri, take care!” Yuri bid farewell back and the line ended.

Siwon never thought that something like this would happen in his life. A friend he hasn't met for at least 4 years was passed out on the passenger’s seat, practically lifeless, and he was left without any other choice but to bring an unexpected guest to his home. Shaking his head and scoffing to himself in disbelief, he checked on the sleeping girl beside him and set off once again.

They arrived at the basement of his own building in only 15 minutes. Thankfully, the traffic was practically non-existent due to the time. He was tired, but at the same time he still had to do some things.

“Tiffany…” He tried calling out. “Tiffany-sshi.” He slowly held her shoulder and shook it just a tiny bit. Still, Tiffany didn’t budge. All she did was let out an angry huff, brows knitting, then fell back to sleep. He sighed.

“Looks like we have to do it the hard way.” He stepped out of the vehicle and went over to her side. First, he unbuckled her seatbelt then gently wrapped her arm around his neck.

“Thank god she’s light.” With a heavy grunt, he lifted her from the seat, making sure he wouldn’t hit her head on the car’s frame. He then rested her against his chest so the upper half of her body wouldn’t be dangling uncomfortably.

With a kick, he closed the door and locked the car. Walking wasn’t a pain given he carried practically nothing except for the girl in his arms. The elevator was also free considering that most of the people were already sleeping at this time of the night. Siwon considered it as another benefit, he knew some people won’t be able to contain themselves and meddle with his business.

Still, it didn’t come without any hindrances as he found himself in front of his pad when he faced another problem.

The numlock…

It was placed higher than he could reach with both his hands occupied. He looked around, trying to find if there was anything he could use or someone he could ask for help. The hallways were empty, save for the fact that his hushed sigh seemed to echo loudly.

Left without a choice, Siwon slung Tiffany over his shoulder.

He tried to do it in the calmest way possible though with his strained movements, he could only mutter an ‘I’m sorry.’  when he was done fixing her position. Siwon winced when he felt her hang haphazardly, and once more when he forced himself to hold onto her legs to avoid her from slipping over.

He punched in the code as quick as he could and headed straight towards his bed where he lay her down. Not forgetting to support her head, he carefully placed her on the plush white mattress he usually slept in. Tiffany remained unconscious throughout the entire trip which didn’t surprise him, she took more alcohol tonight than she could handle.

Siwon stared at her for a few moments, trying to figure out the next best course of action.

He took out some of his own clothes and went straight to taking a shower. In his pyjamas, he looked for the spare air mattress he kept lying around and decided it would be best to sleep in the living room tonight.

It would be both awkward and inappropriate if they were to sleep together, and he couldn’t even begin to fathom what kind of explanations he’d have to make up and give to the woman as to why they were sleeping in the same room; let alone the same bed.

He checked on the woman sleeping on his bed, making sure her breathing was normal and that she was fine. Before heading into his own slumber, Siwon took out some makeup wipes he had lying around and sitting on the bed, decided to take off her makeup.

With little to no experience doing it to another person, he tried his best to be as gentle as possible. He was both surprised and amazed when only a small amount of foundation came off as well as streaks of her eyeshadow. It took him only two pieces to remove most of it, and he couldn’t help but admire how flawless she looked in her bare face.

Shrugging off the thoughts, Siwon threw the used wipes in the bin and placed his comforter carefully on the sleeping girl. He pulled it just past her shoulders, and gave her his lone bear plushie that the fans gave him during a concert. He couldn’t help but smile unexpectedly, heart slightly melting, when she squeezed it tightly and curled into a ball.

Though immensely tired from the copious amount of work, Siwon found himself not being able to sleep that night.

“I should get going.” Tiffany spoke.

She finished the food on the table, which did not help her prove that it was indeed too much. Or maybe Siwon was just right, she really needed all of it. Nonetheless, spending the entire night as well as this morning’s stock of breakfast made her feel all the more inclined to leave. Guilt and embarrassment was shaking her very core by the second.

“I can drop you off.” Siwon replied, and at this point Tiffany wished that he wasn’t such the textbook gentleman, kind soul that he was.

“No, no. That would be too much, I’ll call my manager to pick me up.”

She fished out her phone to accentuate her point, and turned around the high stool so she wouldn’t be staring at his face while anxiously waiting for her unnie to pick up. Still, she could feel how his eyes bore holes in her back and how she could tell the smirk that painted on his lips.

Tiffany cursed once when an automatic voicemail answered her back, and she cursed twice when Siwon chuckled.

“Looks like someone is still asleep.”

“More like spending time with her boyfriend.” She bitterly mumbled without a thought.

Siwon laughed at her statement, before standing up and gathering his things.

“Do you still live in your apartment in Gangnam-gu?” He asked.

“Yes.” She replied.

“I can drop you off there, my office is nearby.” He spoke, a soft smile grazing his lips.

Tiffany’s stomach, on the other hand, did backflips in humiliation. When her call failed to connect for the third time, she accepted defeat and timidly replied. “If it’s not a bother, I can always call a cab.”

“No worries, Tiffany-sshi. Besides, cab fares are expensive nowadays.”

“Aish, stop calling me Tiffany-sshi. What happened to calling me Fany?” She laughed, trying to ease some comfort into her bones.

They were more than just acquaintances back then, about half a decade ago when both groups were at the peak of their careers. It seemed as if their schedules, performances, and activities always collided, and naturally, they became good friends. It was regrettable that time has managed to pull them back to stranger status, when they’ve been sharing stories and concerns neither would share to their own members before. Even Siwon has introduced her to his parents before.

“Okay, okay. It’s just been quite awhile since we’ve met, let alone talk like this.” He replied with a full grin.

“I know right? When was the last…? The Valentino event in HK way back in 2015?”

“Yeah, yeah. And even then, we couldn’t even talk much to each other because our arrangements didn’t line up. Just one picture.”

“Ahh… Yeah, that one event and it was back to Korea the next day.” She sighed, remembering how hectic her schedule was during that year. Back and forth from multiple countries without a break.

“Uhm oppa…” She meekly spoke, remembering something.

“Yes?”

“Do you have any, uh, shades and a hoodie I can borrow?” She asked, which made Siwon raise an eyebrow. And then it hit him.

“Oh. I do.”

“Sorry, just can’t be too safe nowadays.” She rubbed the back of her hand.

God, dating rumours are just the bane of every idols’ existence.

Siwon came back from his room with a grey hoodie and the shades case. He handed it to her and she quickly put them on, making sure to tie her platinum blonde hair inside knowing full well that flaunting it would be as good as sticking a neon sign on her forehead saying TIFFANY YOUNG.

“Do you have all your things with you?” Siwon asked and Tiffany double checked the contents of her small pouch. Phone, wallet, and her used clothes folded neatly.

“Yep!’

He smiled at her. “Okay, let’s go.”

Tiffany was waiting in the basement parking lot of the apartment. Siwon offered to have her wait there while he gets his car, out of cordiality but also to avoid more instances where they could be seen together in public.

The familiar Audi R8 rounded the corner and Tiffany recognized the famous car. Gabriel was Siwon’s baby that he featured in a lot of videos, not to mention endorsed as the brand ambassador as well.

She rode the car in the passenger’s seat and put her seatbelt on, making sure that her disguise was set properly before they went to the streets. With the press on the adrenaline, the 30 minute ride to Gangnam-gu started.

The ride was fairly quiet from the start.

“What songs are you into these days?” Siwon asked.

“A lot, honestly.” Tiffany thought for a moment, browsing mentally over the list of her most played songs for the past week. She beamed out a mischievous grin. “But you know what, this moment calls for a classic.”

Siwon watched as she fiddled with the dashboard interface of the car. After a few gestures, a  familiar tune encapsulating the 80s reverberated throughout the vehicle. Siwon laughed wholeheartedly. Oh boy, was she right.

Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree?

Tiffany started bobbing her head up and down, vibing to the tune of one of her favourite songs. Soon, Siwon was joining her by tapping against the steering wheel with a huge smile on his face.

Their music tastes seemed to clash perfectly, having a full blown jam session throughout the journey. From Rihanna to Beyonce, Destiny’s Child, and even Ne-Yo, they exchanged turns in singing their hearts out along the tunes of iconic pop favourites.

“Yeah I’ll tell you what I want, what I really really want!” Tiffany sang, finger pointing mid-air as if a camera was capturing her dancing.

“So tell me what you want, what you really really want!” Siwon sang back even louder, head swaying side to side with a smug look on his face.

After Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, they decided to relax a little bit, playing some songs by CODE KUNST in the background. Leaning back into her chair, Tiffany exhaled. Maybe giving a mini-concert on the car wasn’t the best move considering she still had a little migraine. Still, she didn’t regret the decision a single bit.

“You really have a lot of energy today.” Siwon chuckled.

“My head is in the dumps right now but really, you cannot not sing along to the Spice Girls.” She replied.

“Absolutely.” Siwon smiled. “Anyways, I heard you moved back to LA?”

“Ah yep. Since… you know, 2017 and leaving SM and all that, I just wanted to pursue music in my hometown.” Tiffany spoke. Honestly, it was hard starting so far away from where she was used to. Living for more than a decade in Korea then coming back, she had no one to thank but her fans and members who gave her continuous love and support no matter what decisions she made.

“How about you, oppa? Bet casting directors are still chasing you for their lead roles.”

“Ah no, no.” He denied, though his acting career proved otherwise. “Just happened to be lucky, I guess.”

“You can’t just owe it all to luck. You’re great at what you do!” She slapped him lightly, trying to knock some confidence into him.

“Thank you, Miyoung.” He grinned. She slapped him again, this time harder and with a frown on her face.

“Yah! Never change, huh?” She rolled her eyes. Back then, Siwon would always in her Korean name. Though he said multiple times that the meaning fit her well, that didn’t change her feelings for the name.

“It suits you though?”

“Eh… It sounds old.”

They talked about more things, including their status with their groups, what they were busy with currently, as well as projects they were looking for in the future.

They arrived at the basement parking lot of Tiffany’s apartment in the middle of discussing SNSD’s tentative comeback. She opened the car door and was about to take off the hoodie she was wearing when Siwon stopped her.

“No, no. Keep it.” He spoke.

“But this is yours...” She replied timidly.

“You can give it back when we meet again, alright?” Siwon gave her a sly grin. Tiffany, realising what he meant, slapped his shoulders and laughed.

“What is this? Choi Siwon is offering dinner?”

“I didn’t say anything, you’re the one who jumped to conclusions.”

“Aish, don’t act so sleek now, even a three year old could understand what you mean.”

“The car ride wasn’t enough for catching up, y’know. So is that a yes?” He smiled cheekily, waiting for Tiffany’s response.

“Yeah, yeah sure thing. Just send me the details okay?" She rolled her eyes teasingly and exited the car. "Thank you again, oppa.”  She was already walking away, right in front of the glass doors when Siwon called out.

“Same number?!” He shouted, body stretched out against the front seats to hear her better.

“Yup! Ask my members if you forgot!” Walking backwards towards the elevator, she gave him another wide eye smile. With a wave of the hand, the metal doors closed and Siwon was left alone in his car.

He smiled to himself, looking forward to the next meeting with the girl.

Just a random one-shot :P I think Tiffany being chatty type of drunk and Siwon being panicky when she just exposes herself is so cute ;A; Been writing lots of angst lately because of so many Dahee and Siwon tweets. How can I make this about SiFany >:D
