María murdered her twin sister Hwasa… Or at least that’s what she believes. Convinced by her father that she killed Hwasa, María enters a mental hospital and resigns herself to spending the rest of her life. Haunted by the night that led her there, she can’t let go of the ghost of her sister, who keeps her company there. Three years into her stay, a heartbroken Moonbyul becomes her roommate, and María begins to let someone in for the first time since her sister’s death. Just when it seems like things are looking up for the two of them, María’s parents enter the picture for the first time since leaving her there, threatening all the progress she’s made. 

Can María and Moonbyul recover? And can María ever really let her sister go?
