UPDATE: I've disabled the comments for this post, mainly because I don't have the energy to argue with these people anymore. Besides that, all I'm getting are insults and off-handed accusations. I've yet to receive a level-headed response that properly justifies this Jake typist's behavior. I unfortunately am not optimistic about receiving a conversation as such, so I will no longer bother. I did get a decent response from oddsfront in the comments. Despite them missing the point, I'll give them credit for being composed atleast.

I don't want to waste anymore of my time with both the people and roleplays here. Seems like I've long outgrown this era anyway. Enjoy yourselves, and may all your narcissistic egos be boosted. Arrow shot to the sky. Whoever gets hit, gets hit.

It that this person is making me dislike Jake and ruining his image for me so much. And I get so pissed 'cause they always seem to always want to be Jake. I don't know about you, but isn't Jake supposed to be a HUMBLE, friendly, sweet, caring, approachable and WELCOMING guy? This person plays him so opposite to that, that I don't even want to interact with Jake at all. It's like talking to a pretentious, way too self-indulgent Jake from another universe. From what I've been observing, this person seems to put way too much of their idealistic selves (or just themselves in general) when playing Jake, and not gonna lie. They seem to think waaaay too highly of themselves behind that Jake mask. Not to mention this person is so obviously VERY SELECTIVE and a face chaser. Also noticeably a top chaser (This Jake frequents rps. I'll cut them some slack, there are a lot of top chasers, but that's not exactly something you want to be identified as) Pretty sure they will deny this if told to their face. Nah "mate". You know exactly what you're doing. And I'm not saying that because they don't talk to me. On the contrary, I'm one of the people who had the "honor" of being spoken to by this Jake. I understand you can favor your friends in the rp, but making new people or people outside your circle feel welcomed would at least be pretty decent. Especially if they want to interact with your fc with nothing but good intentions and the hopes of having fun. I've had a few of these people honestly open up to me about feeling shunned or feeling like they have to impress this Jake to get a decent interaction. They felt critically judged. I felt really bad and can't help but empathize with how totally degrading that is. That ruins an rp experience to be honest.

To that Jake rper. I admire your writing and literacy skills, but maybe try to be a little less pretentious? You might say you're not being pretentious, but to me and to the people who opened up to me, it sure is giving that type of energy. I understand and I'm for self-confidence, Jake's a pretty popular commodity right now, fans LOVE him and would love to approach him, so I guess I see where you're getting it from, but remember you're only borrowing his face and roleplaying as him. At least play the part a little closer to him than to home.
