Kikwang/Dongwoon
Chocolate

 
It was like any other dates. Dongwoon would fetch Kikwang from his apartment and they would eat at their favorite restaurant. After a candle light dinner, Dongwoon would bring Kikwang for a walk, hand in hand, just enjoying each other‘s presence. They were quiet for a moment, looking around at the beautiful scenery, taking in all the different colors and noises. All of a sudden, Kikwang stopped walking, making Dongwoon surprised and slightly annoyed. Kikwang then pulled Dongwoon towards a shop opposite the road. Once they have crossed, Kikwang immediately pressed his face against the shop’s window pane. Looking in, Dongwoon realized that it was a chocolate shop. He scrunched his nose. He dislikes chocolate. Kikwang, however, was the exact opposite. Giving his best puppy-eyed face, Kikwang begged Dongwoon to get him his favorite chocolate bar. After much persuasion, a disgruntled Dongwoon entered the shop and bought the chocolate (and scaring the poor cashier lady because of his glare) Kikwang jumped up and down in delight, snatching the chocolate car from Dongwoon and tore off the wrapper in record time. Dongwoon rolled his eyes but he still led Kikwang to the nearest bench so that he could eat in peace. Dongwoon hated chocolate but he love buying them for Kikwang because the sight of Kikwang munching on chocolates just melted his heart. Moreover, he would be able to the chocolate off Kikwang’s lips and maybe steal a kiss or two. In Dongwoon’s mind, chocolate tasted alright when it was from Kikwang’s lips.

 

Hyunseung/Kikwang
Baking

They had a day off. All the other boys had plans except for Hyunseung and Kikwang (surprisingly). They were both watching tv while snuggling with each other to stay warm. After thirty minutes of watching “Secret Garden”, Kikwang was bored to his wits.

“Hyunseung, I’m bored.” Kikwang looked at Hyunseung and pouted.

Hyunseung, however, was feeling rather lazy that day and refused to do anything apart from sitting on the couch, watch tv and eat (and also to breathe, duh..and probably to take a shower too). He planned to catch up on all the drama he’d missed. So, without looking back at Kikwang, Hyunseung asked him to take a nap or carry weights instead of bugging him. Kikwang glared, which Hyunseung successfully ignored. Thinking hard, Kikwang tried to think of something for the both of them to do. Suddenly, Kikwang had a brilliant idea.

“Hyunseung, I’ve got it. Let’s bake!”

This time, Hyunseung turned to look at Kikwang with a puzzled expression. Before he could say anything, Kikwang dragged both of them out of the house to buy the ingredients.

“Let’s get this and that..and that…oh, definitely this.” While Kikwang was busy choosing the ingredients, Hyunseung just followed behind, thinking about all the drama he would be missing out.

An hour and a half later , they were both in the kitchen with their colorful aprons on.

“Let’s make strawberry spongecake!” Kikwang suggested.

“Ermm..but Kikwang, I don’t know how to..”

“Here! I’ve got the recipe. Let’s try.” Kikwang shoved the piece of paper with scribbles on it against Hyunseung’s face.  Kikwang hummed while taking out the utensils to start baking. Sighing, Hyunseung just followed suit.

~ 30 minutes later ~

“It’s not working Hyunseung! WHY?” Kikwang was close to tears.

“Perhaps we should put more flour?” Hyunseung wasn’t even sure himself. The batter was all gooey and slimy. How was it that they won the pasta-cooking contest in Beast Almighty?

“Nothing ever works out for me. I’m a failure.” Kikwang sobbed.

Looking at Kikwang, Hyunseung just smiled gently. He took Kikwang’s face with his (clean) hands and pecked his forehead.

“I admit. You are bad at baking.” Kikwang glared.

“However..” Hyunseung pinched Kikwang’s nose, “you are definitely not a failure.” Hyunseung kissed Kikwang’s eyes. “Not in my book though.” Hyunseung continued kissing Kikwang (now at his nose)

“No one else has provided me with so much warmth and tender loving care..” he kissed Kikwang’s lips this time. “So, promise me you will never ever say that you are a failure.”

Kikwang smiled, blushing a little and nodded against Hyunseung’s hands. They both kissed some more and as they were busy doing so, Hyunseung looked over at the batter and thought that perhaps, just perhaps, he could make good use of it later on.
