ATTENTION! RE: pov: you let someone with a slur on their username in ur rp

Description

Dear viorvile,

Good day to you, it's a honest pleasure meeting you.

It was brought to our attention that a story has been posted regarding an incident within roleplay grounds, while I admit it was serious, there are many holes in your claims that... do not sit right with us.

Allow me to shine some context into our response for those who are the average reader that accidentally stumbled across here, user "viorvile" here on AFF directly called out the admin team of Euphoric due to an oversight on a username that was allowed into roleplay grounds, the said username had a homophobic slur in it.

Of course, such a incident warranted our attention, viorvile was not in the wrong for speaking up and pointing out our mistake, which caused us to immediately take action and reflect.

But what was wrong was that viorvile had spread some misinformation regarding the incident.

Now, let me go through viorvile's claims, just so we can get a clear understanding of the current situation.

"A friend also dmed them about how uncomfortable the siutation is and what did they get? Just a seen, No apologies, no acknowledgement."

In base, we do not delete any interactions between members, hence chat histories will remain logged in the account itself for easy retrieval.
We do not know who viorvile mused in Euphoric, but there are 3 chat logs we've managed to retrieve that spoke out against the username, those chat logs belong to usernames @fcukedgirl, @fcukedboy and @fakeisms.

Username @fcukedboy and @fakeisms left our base account on read.
While user @fcukedgirl was in fact left alone, the attached photo show that a draft apology was created.

"Did you talk to them about this?

Yes, they have been informed however they did not apologize properly and excused that it was just a mistake rather than admitting it is wrong and incompetent on their part."

An apology was created immediately after the departure of these three members, which was posted to Euphoric's story.

The admin that was held responsible personally typed their apology out and posted it without a second thought.

There was an effort from the typist who held the slurred username to extend an apology, but as the three former members had already unfollowed the roleplay members, the person in question was not able to apologize.

viorvile, I hope this story has shed some light on our side of the story and what steps were taken in order, we truly thank you for the insight you've given us.

But, with this story I'd like to spread a lesson.
Making public stories like these without the necessary evidences is harmful, not only to the roleplay itself, but to the people involved with the situation.
As such, please do not spread claims and misinformation under the disguise of "awareness", as you will not know the potential damages you've done.
Remember, there's always two sides to every story.

Thank you for your time.

Yours truly,

The Euphoric Admins
