Memory of That Girl
Description
Jiyong stares at the woman who was her wife six years ago. She is nowhere near the Dara he loved. She has become someone else: confident, direct, and the woman of the world. She parties, she drinks, she dances provocatively and doesn't give a damn about what other people say. But why does he still miss her when she is no longer the girl she once was?
Sandara glanced at the man she despises. How can he be the same man who still unnerves her? His stare, his smirk, his eyes that pierce through her soul. She has successfully erased the trace of the meek, innocent Dara and now she projects a different girl in front of him. But why does he still torment her even when she says she's way over him?
How can they forget the past when every time they look at each other, they see the memories they so want to forget? Every time they touch, they can still feel the spark of their unforgettable lovemaking, and every time they walk away, destiny brings them back together. How can they forget each other, when the haunting ghost of once was a memory is getting into the deepest recesses of their heart no matter how they deny it? How can the past hurt them much more at present when they are both in someone else's arms?

"Is this who you are now?" Jiyong gripped her arm strongly. He stopped her from going back to the bar.
"I am who I am! I don't have to explain to you who I have become! So, let go!" Dara met his blazing eyes! "You are drunk and men are trying to get you into their bed."
"Why do you care?" She walked away again but Jiyong gripped her arm one more time.
"For God sake, Dee. Listen to me! I am your bestfriend!" Out of nowhere, he blurted the words that should not have been said.
"Bestfriend? Yah, I was just your bestfriend! The bestfriend you made believe that you loved her! The bestfriend you married and promised to never leave her! The bestfriend and your wife you left without a trace, without a last embrace, without a simple goodbye! So tell me Jiyong, are you still worthy to be called my bestfriend?"
Her fiery stare got him frozen as he let go of her arm slowly. She walks away and even if he badly wants to stop her, he will not dare. Of course, she'd be angry. Why wouldn't she, when he kept the reason of him leaving burried in his soul!
