Ravenpaw’s Fate

After Ravenpaw was taken to live with Barley by his friends, Fireheart and Graystripe, he began a new chapter of his life as a loner. “I caught an adder once,” Ravenpaw said to Barley. Barley was impressed and decided to take Ravenpaw under his wing… or paw in Barley’s case. Since Ravenpaw wasn’t training to become a warrior for Thunderclan anymore, he took on the new name of Puma. Barley and Puma started to become good friends. They no longer have to be alone on their own but can instead be alone together. With Barley teaching him, Puma became stronger and wiser with every passing day. 

A few months had passed now and on one rainy day, Puma and Barley spotted Fireheart and Graystripe on the horizon. But they were with a lot of unknown cats, which Puma and Barley later found out were the cats of Windclan. “Can you help us find shelter from the rain for us and Windclan,” asked Fireheart. So Barley and Puma led them all to an abandoned twoleg house. Fireheart, Graystripe, and all of Windclan stayed the night and in the morning, they left to finish their mission and bring Windclan home. 

A few weeks later, leafbare came and the first snow had fallen. It was cold but Barley and Puma had shelter in a twoleg barn where it was warm and cozy. Then, one night, Barley and Puma saw Fireheart and Graystripe again. They ran out of the barn to see their friends, but when Puma saw the expression on his friends’ faces he knew that something was wrong. “We need to ask you something very important, for the sake of Thunderclan,” said Graystripe. “We need you to tell us what really and truly happened the day Redtail died,” said Fireheart. So, Puma told them the full story. After Puma finished telling Fireheart and Graystripe what happened, they bid their friend farewell and rushed back to the clan to tell the clan leader, Bluestar the truth about the day Redtail died. 

As the time passed, Barley and Puma grew closer and closer together. They soon became a couple but they didn’t want to tell anyone because they thought they would be ridiculed because they were both male cats, so they kept it lowkey. They went on to adopt two small gray kittens, which they found astray laying in a field. They named the girl Pepper and the boy Asher- Ash for short. They happily lived as a family together for the rest of their days.
