Every minute to any holiday feels long. But none can compare to the wait for the clock to strike 12 midnight on Christmas. It feels like the reset of the year and all that happened throughout. 

This was the thought process of Kim Minjeong as she waited in line to buy alcohol at the supermarket to spend her christmas alone for the nth time. 

But as she reached for the last bottle of soju her hand brushed against another and suddenly she heard the sound of the christmas carols playing everywhere even when her airpods blasted rock on max volume.
