-No no no no...

I looked around in despair, holding my phone close to my heart. I've never been so worried in my life than right now.

What did I do? I should have look at what I was doing...

I looked at the screen again, frowning even more.

I was talking to my friend Eunji earlier, about guys and at the same time my biggest crush spoke to me. It was okay, until I replied to the wrong person.

Eunji
Leah! Quick. Who's better looking at our school?

Leah
Better? Err.. I dunno.

Eunji
I said quick! Okay then, who's the cutest?

Eunji
I think it's Moonbin.

Leah
Why are you asking that question when you know the answer?

Eunji
Because I want you to say ittttt. Admit you have a crush on him!

Leah
I won't. He's my friend since forever. It's too awkward.

I received a message from someone else.

Dongmin
Hi. Can I borrow your notes for the exam next week?

Leah
Yup. I'll give it to you tomorrow.

Dongmin
Thanks!

Leah
Why do you need it anyway? You have the best grade in our entire school.

Dongmin
I don't know. It just help me study.

Leah
Okay.

I switched the conversation to Eunji.

Eunji
The best romance drama start with a long term best friend...

Eunji
I'm sure Dongmin is into you too.

Eunji
Please go out with him, so you can match me with his best friend x.x

Leah
Yah, aren't you crazy?

Dongmin wrote to me.

Dongmin
Want to study with me tonight?

Leah
It's late. Mom won't let me go out.

Dongmin
I can come to your home.

I switched conversation.

Leah
Eunji-ya, he's asking if he can come home and study.

Eunji
What?

Eunji
Study my ! Just kiss him already.

Leah
He really just wants to study. He's innocent.

Eunji
Is he? Really?

I switched conversation again.

Dongmin
Sooo... Should I come?

Leah
Yeah. Why not.

I switched conversation.

Leah
Maybe he's not that innocent. Dongmin is really cute.

I received a message from Eunji. In another conversation.

Eunji
Will you study with him tonight? Wink wink.

My heart stopped.
I blinked, then changed conversation.
I replied to Dongmin.
I. Replied. To. Dongmin.

Oh no... What will I do? Wasn't he coming at my home? .

I quickly looked at myself in the mirror - I looked okay. I took my phone, shaking a little. I wrote to Dongmin.

Leah
I asked my mom, she said it's too late to have a guest home. Let's study another time.

He didn't reply. I frowned. Is he mad because of what I just said? Maybe...

I phoned my friend, as it was too dangerous to write.

She answered quickly.

"Yeah?" Her voice was always so full of joy.
"Eunji-ya... I did something stupid."
"Hm? I'm sure it's nothing."
"I wrote something to Dongmin but it was supposed to be to you... And now I think he's coming here and it will be awkward as hell."
"Yah. What did you write him? Why is it awkward?" She chuckled, I sighed.
"I said that he was cute."

She laughed loudly on the phone.

"You're joking right?"
"Sadly not."
"Well, at least you'll have something to talk about tonight."
"What do I do? I... It's so stupid..."
"Just let it go. If he likes you he'll tell you. Otherwise just let it pass."
"I'm so stressed..."

I hear my mom shouting at me in the living room.  "Leah - Dongmin is here for you!"

I gasped.

"I... I need to hang up. He's here."
"Nice... Call me back when you are able to match me with your in-laws."
"Shut up!"
"I love you."

I hung up. As I was able to open my door and walk to the living room, my door opened. We both looked at eachother silently a moment, then he chuckled.

"Are you that surprised? I told you I would come to study."
"R-right."

I guess he didn't saw my last message saying he can't come...
We both sat on my bed, far from each other - a lot of books in the middle.

I took a book and looked at it silently. I wasn't able to concentrate. All I was thinking about was the message I've sent. Why wasn't he saying anything about it?
Maybe he's not interested. Maybe he's ashamed I have those feelings...

"Do you need help with anyth-"

He casually turned his head to look at me and became silent. I guess I looked strange.

"Are you alright?" He asked. He looked worried. My heart was beating faster than usual.
I smiled awkwardly, trying to brush it off.

"Yeah... I... Yeah. And I'm okay for now, let's just study."

I looked at my book again, but he kept looking at me. I bit my lips, unsure of the feeling I was experiencing.

"Leah, I know you for years. I know when something is wrong. You can't hide it."

I sighed. Why was he so wise and cleaver? Why was he so good at noticing how I was feeling?

"I don't want to talk about it."
"Okay. If you change your mind, I'm right here."

We studied for about two hours silently. He noticed I was frowning and yawning more and more.

"I think we need to call it a night."
"Hm...
