It was raining hard when I first saw you. You, waiting for the rain to stop and me helplessly looking at you. I waited for a few more minutes to see if the rains going to tone down or stop, but it didn't happen.

I went where you are currently standing and lightly tap your shoulders.

"Hey, we live on the same building right?" 

I asked her and she looked at me bewildered and seemed to be questioning my presence

"I saw you yesterday on the lift" I clarify

She look at me and I got completely lost on her cat like eyes, so attractive and addicting

"You wanna share this umbrella with me? So that you wouldn't wait to make the rain stop before you were able to go home"

"Ofcourse, only if you want to" I said once more

She seems hesitant to answer. I probably scared her

"Oh okay" she said

"Shall we go?" I ask holding the umbrella for the both us

"Sure" she answered

We walk on the rain in a complete silence, shy to even talk and awkwardness on its finest. We were both shy to even speak.

I leaned more the umbrella on her side, scared the she might get wet by the pouring rain, I saw her look at the umbrella and back at me. 

She didn't notice isn't she?

"You're going to get wet if you continue to do that" she said pointing at the umbrella that gives her more protection than myself

"It's okay, the rain still wasn't able to wet my clothes" I joke and she laughed a little

After that, we walk more in a complete silence and thankfully, we finally arrived at our apartment complex

We both enter the elevator and pressed the floor number

I saw her pressed 8th floor and I on the other hand pressed for the 11th floor

So there's only two floors separating us?

But there's a lot of unit there, how am I supposed to know?

There's a complete silence and it felt odd for some reasons

"Thank you for sharing your umbrella with me" the nameless woman says and I smiled at her

"No worries. May I know your na-" I wasn't able to ask her my question as the elevator door open and she walks out

"Bye!" She said waving her hands, while the elevator door close

I saw a new opened chicken place near my apartment premises and I have decided that I should try their menu.
