Hello everyone!

As we are sure you have gathered from above, Wanderlust will be hosting our very own version of: The Squid Game! The admins have been hard at work planning this upcoming event and we hope you will consider joining us for our very first beta!

For those who have seen the show, we will be basing each game off the general rules of their corresponding titles - there will be differences as we have altered these games to be suitable for roleplay interactions. There will be 6 games, played over the course of two weeks (or more, as we want to encourage maximum participation with various schedules).

So far, a start date has not yet been selected (but will be within the month!), as the admins would like to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to join at a timing most suitable for the majority.

A few items to note:

1. This event is by no means mandatory! If you wish to participate, kindly fill in the google form link posted above — and if you are not interested, no further action is required.

2. Players are not expected to be active every day for the two-week duration of this event! Some games will overlap in length of time limit (e.g. post-based games may be allowed the entire week, whilst chat-based games may be hosted on one particular day). If you would like to participate but do not believe you will have time for all 6, join us anyway! Simply select the option in our form that is best suited to your circumstances and play along!

3. You do not have to have seen the show to be part of the games. Although references will be made, they simply share a common theme and nothing more — there will be NO SPOILERS ahead!

4. If at any point you change your mind, want to join in on additional team games, or simply want to drop out, kindly let the admins know and we will make the appropriate arrangements.

5. Wanderlust will be promoting this event on Tumblr and AFF for maximum exposure, and allow us to recruit more players before we begin. We are all about friendly competition and why not double down on those looking for a competitive edge! If you know of anyone interested in joining us, feel free to ask them to submit a formal application with us and sign up for Squid Game!

6. We are always taking suggestions if anyone has ideas to add or how we can most efficiently streamline everyone's progress! Players will be added into an official group for the event where each game will have a hashtag to be tracked. Posts can also be made outside of the group with the same hashtags (help us recruit your friends!)

7. Contrary to the above "announcement", those who do not win a game will not be "eliminated". We believe in fair play and will operate based on a points system, so that those who collect the most points by the end of the event will be our winners on top! All other participants will receive participation points for the games they complete.

8. Finally: once we receive the official sign up, you will each receive a business card via DM from one of the admins to confirm your "contract". As usual please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions in the meantime! Happy gaming!
