Only muns and muses born in 2002 or earlier will be accepted, this means anyone 19 and above international age can be roleplayed.
We’re a semi-literate/literate roleplay so expect to see frequent and the use of paragraphs. Also note that muses will be different from how they are IRL because this is an alternative universe.
You have to use the face-claim’s birth name because we’re not an original character universe.
No facechasing, bashing, metagaming, godmodding or anything of the sort.
Out of consideration of others, to respect their identities and the portrayal of them, we will prohibit altering genders of the face-claim you choose to roleplay.
Please notify the admins when leaving the roleplay.
OPEN RELATIONSHIPS ONLY. If you are caught not roleplaying with others or ting with others for the sole reason that you are in a relationship, then you will be given a strike.
Because this is an alternative universe, you are allowed to use face-claims from the same idol groups (max. 2). For example you’re allowed to claim both Jungkook and Jimin from BTS. This is because BTS doesn’t exist here and the muses doesn’t have any personal relationships.
Reservations last for 3 days. Use a password when reserving a face-claim.
You’re allowed up to three (3) characters. The waiting period to bring in your second (2nd) muse is two weeks. The waiting period to bring in your third (3rd) muse is four weeks. Always ask an admin before applying for a second or third muse. Characters are to be paid for by credits.
Face-claim changes are free if done so within the first week with the approval of an admin. Two face changes are allowed per muse, and/or account.
In your profile you have to list whether your muse is a master or a slave. Use “IL-MASTER” or “IL-SLAVE” somewhere in your about me.
Do not use special characters for your name on your account.
Only para format is allowed. Except if you’re a master. Then you can use the sns format in the group dedicated to the estate’s app.
Do not spam the groups.
IC drama is allowed if everyone involved is okay with it. OOC drama is however not allowed. If you have issues with another roleplayer please approach an admin.
All ualities are welcomed. Do not however ignore anyone. Though this is a roleplay you should also be capable of making friends.
Be tactful when approaching someone about . Do not be aggressive about it and accept that not everyone will want to write with you/your muse. When turning down someone do so gently.
If you are removed from the roleplay due to an activity check, you must wait the duration of five (5) days before reapplying. We will not reserve your previous faceclaim during this time.
Triggering posts must be labeled with [TRIGGER] in the beginning of the post.
Please be active at least twice a week. Changing profile/cover photos, replying to dms, one-liners does not count. Replying to your posts and being active in the groups does.
If we see that you have been inactive for two (2) or more weeks without an approved hiatus, you will receive a message from the admins. Failure to reply to the message within two (2) days will result in you being removed from the roleplay.
On an island somewhere in the pacific ocean the wealthy comes to live out their deepest desires. The place exists thanks to a man named Han Daewon.
Han Daewon was born into one of South Korea’s wealthiest families. At the age of nineteen (19) he was married and life seemed good. He established several lucrative businesses and fathered five (5) children. As he got older he started to feel unfulfilled. Family life wasn’t what he wanted, he didn’t want to be tied down. Unfortunately divorce was out of the question and he needed an outlet.
The servants that worked for Daewon became the target of his restless nature. Aside for cleaning and cooking, the young women had to physically serve him. Daewon became insatiable and realized that he couldn’t risk getting caught.
In 1912 he bought a private island in secret. He envisioned a place where he could be himself and when the estate stood ready it became the hot spot for anyone wealthy enough to afford a stay. His family were told that he was away on business trips that became longer and longer. Soon he barely spent any time at home. The buying and selling of slaves became his most successful business investment.
When Han Daewon passed away in 1940 he left the island to his favorite slave. She was elevated to the status of Mistress and continued to run the estate to her death in 1990. As her Master had done she too left the island to her favorite slave.
The current owner was once a slave too. She keeps her identity a secret and takes part in everything that goes on at Ivory Lace.
A slave can be purchased with credits.
A Master can own up to three slaves.
A Master makes their own rules for the slaves they own.
All purchases must be agreed to by both parties out of character.
A slave comes with a responsibility. A Master can treat their slave in any way they want but Ivory Lace will not tolerate anyone’s basic needs not being met - eating, drinking, showering, etc. The estate has a reputation to live up to after all.
It doesn’t matter whether a Master owns the slave they spend time with, they still call the shots. They’re superior in any and every way.
Obey your master at all times.
If a master is disatisfied with you - be it your attitude or anything else - they can, should and will punish you as they see fit.
You exist only to be used.
Every sixth (6th) months you will be given a specially made vaccine to prevent pregnancies and STDs.
If a Master is inactive, ignoring the slave or if muns clash ooc, you’re allowed to ask to be disowned. Talk to an admin first.
A slave has no power.
Every week the slaves are given a small allowance that they can spend however they want. This is so that they can buy the necessities needed to keep themselves presentable.
When arriving to the island the slaves are stripped of all their belongings. The only thing they’re allowed to keep is the clothes they’re wearing.
Use sir, ma'am, master, mistress when you address someone of a higher rank. If the Master wants to be called something else then they’ll tell you.
