“ Aren’t you sleepy? “ the man with extraordinary rose colored hair asked his lover who was using his arm as his pillow while the both of them were laying in the old cottage where the latter stayed while guarding his sheeps.

“ I don’t want to. ” The brunette shook his head as he shifted to be closer to the warmth of his lover’s body

“ It’s already late, you should sleep, love. You always have a lot of work to do from your stepmother. ” Donghae said as his hand softly touched the hair of the man in his arm

“ I know… I just… There’s this strange feeling lately that keeps telling me that… ” Hyukjae paused, bit his lips not to continue

“ What’s wrong? ” Donghae asked, facing the love of his life and caressed his flawless face as their eyes met

“ …I’m afraid you will disappear… Hae, you are the prince who live on the moon. I am a human being… ” the shepherd looked up to the full moon that brightened the whole darkness of the night. 

“ When we met, I already knew you are way out of my league and we shouldn’t have continued seeing each other but— ”

“ but we still ended up together. It was fate, we couldn’t fight fate. ” Donghae said with a charming smile of his but it wasn’t enough to ease the worries from Hyukjae‘ s heart.

“ What if… fate asked us to be apart… ” The shepherd sat up, let the wool blanket slide off half of his body and allowed the cold air touched his skin

“ What if… we just cherish our present, love… ” The prince of the moon sat with him, resting his head on Hyukjae’s shoulder as his arms wrapped around his small body 

Hyukjae sighed 

“ Even if fate asked us to be apart, I would fight to my death. I will never forget you, my prince. ” He told the prince who just nodded weakly 

“ I love you, Hyukjae… I also will never forget you…” The Shepard noticed the sadness in his voice which he chose not to comment on 

“ but you should never die for me, my love. ” he continued 

“ If i was gone, please move on with your life. Get married, be happy. That guy your father wanted to engage you to, he seems nice. ” Hyukjae chuckled 

“ Yes, Jongwoon hyung is smart and cool. He’s good at making clothes. ” The moon prince suddenly pouted 

“ You think? ” 

Hyukjae laughed and placed a kiss on the prince’s lips
