kim minjeong was a homesick university student, majoring in mathematics, and she recently had to move to a whole different neighborhood with a very strict landlady that does not allow her to adopt a pet to live with her as long as minjeong is under her roof. minjeong decides to bend the rules a little by starting to take good care of the stray cats around her building, which apparently has also crossed the mind of another university student, majoring in communications, that is named yu jimin.
