Description

Everyone is his puppet in this tainted earth dominated by politics, money, greed, lies, blood, and devils. The notorious prince of crime Jung Daehyun lives for the chaos, pulling the strings in the underground only to fuel it more. He only lives by one rule, and that's to protect the smile of his beloved angel. So, what happens when the smile disappears from his angel's lips?

 

This story is a Joker x Harley Quinn inspired story, with Daehyun as the joker and Youngjae as Harley Quinn.

There is mention of , abuse, and violence but I haven't rated it M since I didn't put anything detailed or graphic in it. However, I might change it depending on what happens when I go over the chapters. 

Foreword

The pencil dropped from Youngjae’s hand, his smile fading.

Daehyun’s eyes widened.

“Don’t.” He grabbed Youngjae’s cheeks, squeezing them to keep his smile from disappearing.

The younger’s eyes doed into wide glittering circles, resembling the innocent look he had from when Daehyun first met him.

A/N: It's been over a year since I've posted a DaeJae story. TT But I'm really excited about this story. The idea for a Joker X Harley Quinn story was suggested to me by _DaeJae_Shipper (Thank you so much for this suggestion). It was difficult for me to come up with how to go about it but I hope you guys enjoy it. It's going to be kind of like a One-Shot with  4 or 5 parts (chapters). I can't wait to see what you guys think! I'll be posting it tomorrow!

Chapter 1: I'm here! Very curious as to where this is going, when you mentioned in the foreword this was a Joker and Harley AU, my mind immediately thought that it was DaeJae that had the trigger warning also mentioned in the foreword. It being Joker and Harley, perhaps there is still toxicity there (they aren't exactly the shining example of a healthy couple), but from what I can gather, the trigger warning seems to be more for where Youngjae was before... right? Or maybe I'm just hoping that.

Chapter 1: Oh my! This seems to be gearing up to be a dark fic and I love it! Felt a lot like a gritty noir novel. :O
I've been away from aff for a bit and seeing a notification of a new story was a pleasant surprise. I'm excited to know where the story will go. :)
