Summary:

Minjeong wiggles her toes in her flip flops, dusted with grains of sand. Her denim cutoffs are faded and frayed, looking comfortable like only threadbare clothes can be, like Minjeong herself. She finally looks at Jimin. Her eyes gleam like precious stones in the moonlight, ponytail tousled with chlorine and the salty breeze. Jimin takes a deep breath of sea air before reaching across the space between them and gently brushing Minjeong’s hair out of her eyes.
