“You’re new here, huh?”

“And what makes you say that?”

“I’ve never seen you around before. I mean- unless I’ve been losing my vision whenever you pass.”

I chuckle.

“I, uh, I don’t think that’s possible.”

She smiles. Wow, she could light up a room. Seeing it upclose is definitely a whole other experience.

“Oh yeah? So when did you get here?”

“Last week. I’m just, uh, trying to get settled in.”

“Ah… I see.”

“You been living here long?”

She hums.

“2 years I think?”

Actually, it’s been little less than 2 years. 

“I’m guessing this is a pretty good place then?”

“I guess so, yeah,” she says nodding.

My name. Let’s not forget to give her that.

“Oh, uh- I’m Sakura by the way. Miyawaki Sakura.”

I extend my hand towards her. She takes it and shakes.

“Eunbi. Kwon Eunbi.”

I know.

“Well, Eunbi, I guess I’ll see you around,” I say, reluctantly letting go of her hand.

I smile at her before heading off. 

The introduction was lighthearted- short and sweet. Of course I knew everything she said about herself already, but naturally, there is a depth to her. I cannot wait to figure you out. 

Well, Eun, we have our eternity to get to know each other.
