"Why. Why would we leave the house just to get a drink and then come back."

"It's not just that. The drinks are delicious."

"We can make them at home! Or have them delivered."

"But it's nicer there, they have comfy chairs and retro decor, it's really cozy." Hyukjae pouted. "Besides, you're forgetting something important," said Donghae.

"What?"

"There's not only drinks, there's also sweets. Cookies, cupcakes, you name it." Hyukjae grimaced. "I know you don't like going to those places but you'll like this one, I promise." 

"Ugh," Hyukjae groaned. Donghae was looking at him with puppy eyes yet again. "You've been there, right?"

"Hm. Last week. Everything is delicious. Please?"

Hyukjae closed his eyes. "Fine. But if I don't like it I'll complain."

Donghae smiled. "Okay. Let's go." 

One hour later, Donghae watched intently as Hyuk ate his waffles with whipped cream. The cafe was spacious and had light and bright colors. They were both sitting at a tall wooden table.

"This is really good!" he said with his mouth full. Donghae nodded.

"Try it with my coffee." 

"But yours doesn't have milk in it."

"Come on, just one sip." Hyukjae took his boyfriend's mug and took a sip.

"Hmm! Why does everything taste good!" Donghae laughed. "Remember when we tried to make pancakes?"

Donghae frowned at the memory of that disaster. 

"How could it be so hard to make them?" Hyukjae laughed. "Are we dumb?"

They both tried not to laugh so hard.

"We have to get us one of those waffle makers, to make them look like this. And a pre-made mix." Donghae laughed as Hyukjae kept eating. "Mh! Oh," Hyukjae savored his bite. "You have to try this. The combination of everything. So good." Donghae stretched out his arm but Hyukjae stopped him. "I'll put it together for you. It has to be the perfect ratio." 

He put the waffle, cream, chocolate sauce and fruits together in one bite on the small fork and held it out for Hae to receive the bite.

Donghae hesitated a little. He looked around before opening his mouth and Hyukjae fed him. Donghae was red, a sheepish smile adorned his face. After tasting everything, he nodded. "Woah."

"Right?" Hyukjae smiled. After a few seconds of silence, he laughed softly. "Okay, I admit it."

"Mh?"

"I do like this place."

Donghae smiled shyly at him. "We could come again sometime."

"Sure! Let's try everything on the menu."
