The sky is clear everything is perfect. He see how the sun gives light as he looked at the field of buckwheat flowers. He looked at the girl beside her, but the best sight and moment of all was her warm and sweet smile. He cupped her face and give her a gentle kiss. His heart beat erratically. He felt weak because of that simple kiss. But he also knew that it’s a kiss of his strength. He knew he’ll never had this unending bliss he’s feeling right now..unless he’s beside her.

“Babe.” He uttered then looked at her full of love and tender. “I love you.”

The girl smiled a genuine one before it became a sad one. “The time is up, babe. You can’t be here forever.”

Everyone in the emergency room fell in silence. That monotonous sound was still deafening. “The time of death 11:23 pm—.”

“Jinu hyung. I’m sorry I have to leave you all soon. I don’t want to..but I want to be with Lee Hi. I just want to rest..will you let me rest? Babe, my love for you is forever, Lee Hi. Wait for me, I’m coming for you now. This time you’re not going to be alone. I’ll be with you forever. I love you, wait for me.”

“Do not say it yet!” Soyoung interrupted then she immediately went to Hanbin’s bed and she’s the one who take over. “Our leader is a strong man.” She said while continuously reviving Hanbin. “He will not die tonight! Not on my watch. He will survive and that’s a damn promise!” She said sternly and full of determination, still doing the CPR.

His forehead creased. “What are you saying?” He looked at Lee Hi with full of confusion. Why do you want me to go back when it’s clearly obvious that I just want to be by your side. It’s here..It’s here where I belong now. I want to be here. I want to be here with you.”

“You made a promise.”

“But the day hasn’t even done yet. I just been here for an hour.”

“And I think it’s enough than nothing right?”

“No!” He cried as he hugged her tightly. He suddenly felt an unbearable pain in his chest. It was clenched tightly, he can’t let go this girl. He’ll die again and again just to be with her. If dying means being with her then he’ll gladly accept it. He lived for her..therefore he’ll die for her too. “Please don’t push me away. I’ll be good this time. I’ll give you all of my attention just please don’t push me away. Don’t ask me to come back because I won’t.”

“It’s sad to let you go this way, babe, but I can’t just not let you go too, because I am not selfish.” She faced him. Wipe his tears away and showed her most genuine and warmest smile.  “If we are really meant to be..someday, here in this exact place we will meet again..up in this sky, here in the clouds..but right now you have to go back first. Remember that I will always love you. Wake up now, Kim Hanbin.” She then give him a kiss..and right there and then he knew..he’ll never be with her again.

A tear escaped from his eyes. ‘Goodbye, babe. I’ll just have you in my dreams..because I knew that’s where can I hug and kiss you..but in this lifetime you were no longer there. Again, I am by myself. I am alone. I wanted to hold on but you decided to let go before I could even hold you tight. Bye, babe. Goodbye Lee Hi.’

After thirty minutes everyone sighed in relief when they heard Hanbin’s heartbeat again. Soyoung felt exhausted, she’s catching her breath and her face full of sweats but she don’t mind it all what’s important is Hanbin was saved tonight. “Welcome back B.I.” She uttered.
