..................

Lisa looked fondly at her girlfriend sleeping beside her. The girl's body was still hot and sweaty, the previous activities were amazing.

In an almost silent movement Lisa slipped from the bed, the cold wind of dawn shivering her once-hot body. She made a silent path to the window. His pack of cigarettes was still available on the counter; Jisoo must have been trying to throw it away again.

The Thai just pretended that she hadn't seen her girlfriend's protective act, but decided that she wouldn't take the girl's victory away from her. He threw the cigarettes in the trash and walked to his girlfriend's big closet drawer to get some clothes. She wore boxer briefs and an oversized shirt, and she also took off something similar for Jisoo; since she used to feel cold in her sleep.

Very carefully, she dressed the girl, pausing only to admire the love marks on the elder's neck. "I love you," she whispered before kissing the Korean girl's forehead, but before she could pull away a warm hand grabbed her wrist. "If you loved me, you'd warm me up on such a cold night"

The younger girl smiled when her girlfriend pouted, she couldn't resist it. "Yes baby, I was just going to the bathroom"

Jisoo sighed happily, then looked at her clothed body. "You dressed me again" Lisa tapped the Korean girl's forehead with her finger. "You always steal the whole blanket for yourself at night so I figured it would be cold"

" Thank you, my princess Jisoo pulled Lisa's body under the sheets. The warm arms of Jisoo involved slim body of Lisa, warming it automatically." You really need to go to the bathroom, or was a stupid excuse to call your lover?"

Lisa smiled and kissed her girlfriend's lips heartily. "Honey, you're the mistress" she joked, "Actually, I was just going to get some cigarettes from Chaeng in the next room."

The older one then feigned seriousness, "You know I hate it when you smoke, it spoils your lungs and makes you stink." It was Lisa's turn to pout. "Do you think I smell bad?"

Jisoo looked into Lisa's eyes and then kissed her bruised lips. "I didn't say that jagiya, I just said you stink after smoking"

"First you accuse me of cheating, then call me stinky? You're out of line" Lisa buries her neck in the crook of her girlfriend's neck, occasionally pressing kisses and biting into the girl's white skin.

Jisoo knew she was already scarred with amorous bruises , but she couldn't let the situation worsen with this new round of making out. "Stop leaving marks on my neck." Lisa's chuckle flutter raised Jisoo's fur, "What are you laughing at?"

" I just remembered when Jennie accused me of hurting you" She laughed to herself at her best friend's memories with a curious look. "Yes, I can remember Chaeng's face, she really believed it," Jisoo followed his girlfriend's laugh .

" I miss our innocent squirrel," Lisa moved to look at her girlfriend's face, "Jennie took our baby's innocence," the Thai woman complained.

Jisoo crawled to lie on his girlfriend's chest, tracing imaginary lines under the youngest's shirt. " Well, that's not what Jennie said,"

Lisa made a disgusted face, and Jisoo smiled, "Ugh, we should stop talking about it, it's disgusting."

They were silent for a moment.

" I love you" Jisoo covered Lisa with kisses of love. "I will always love you"

Lisa got out of bed and quickly ran to her new camera on top of Jisoo's desk.

With the camera pointed at the older woman's face, Lisa politely asked Jisoo to repeat this.

" I. Love you." Jisoo waved at the camera and made hearts with his fingertips. "I will always love you "

The Thai smiled and kissed the girl on the lips, quickly discarding the still on camera that was now just recording the audio .

At the end of the recording were the confessions of the two lovers .

Recording has ended.

She looked back at the small computer screen, tears slowly running down her face as she watched the footage from that old camera again.

In one other life, I would be your girl.

Unconsciously, the girl tenderly caressed the mark of unhappiness tattooed on her wrist, it was already faded; Lisa never had the guts to touch up or remove the damn tattoo.

Lisa wiped her tears when she heard the door open, soon a child ran to her bed and Lisa helped her upstairs.

"Please save me! Eomma is trying to feed me avocados!" The little girl cried in the woman's lap, Lisa couldn't help smiling at the girl with cat eyes. When she didn't get an answer from the older girl, the little girl placed her tiny hands on the Thai's cheeks, "Aren't you worried about eomma feeding me avocados?"

Lisa laughed and took her tiny hands away from her cheek, soon kissing the palm of one of them, "Your mother is just trying to keep you healthy, Sarang"

Little Sarang made a face at the woman, Lisa thought it was very cute, "Mother Chaeng is healthy and doesn't need to eat avocados"

"Well Sarang, I think you should ask your mother that, not me."

Before the girl could respond, the door was brutally opened by an angry mom. Sarang and Lisa froze automatically when the woman who also had cat eyes walked towards them.

"I told you not to run, didn't I?" The woman looked coldly between Lisa and the girl, who were holding each other as if their lives depended on it. "You ran downstairs so quickly I couldn't keep up! You could have been hurt!"

The girl pouted and her eyes filled with tears, she was obviously shaken by her mother's tone of voice, after a few minutes the girl broke down in tears.

Jennie quickly approached the bed and took her daughter from Lisa's arms, her anger replaced by Jennie's concern at having been rude to her daughter.

Lisa watched her best friend rock and comfort the four-year-old until she fell asleep. A pang of jealousy shot through his chest. Lisa was jealous of her friend's happiness.

"Do you mind looking at Sarang for a few minutes? She really made a mess of those avocados, I need to clean everything up before Rosie arrives" Jennie asked with gentle eyes.

The Thai smiled and pulled out the laptop so Jennie could put the child to bed. Sarang quickly grabbed the closest thing she could get, Lisa's favorite sweatshirt. Jennie instinctively smiled at the baby in the sweatshirt.

The next day

"Sarang told me you were crying, what happened?" Chaeyoung asked when they got into Lisa's newly renovated Mustang.

Instead of answering her best friend, Lisa just the radio as she exited the garage at Chaeng and Jennie's house.

Chaeyoung frowned when he got no response, Lisa clearly didn't want to talk about it. "You didn't talk all through dinner, not even when Sarang tried to start a food fight against you."

Lisa just turned up the radio, ignoring her best friend again.

Rosé hated seeing her best friend like this, Lisa hadn't gotten over her old love even after five years.

"You can talk to me when you feel up to sharing."

"Thanks Rosie Poop"

Lisa spent the day editing photos, and believe it or not, this was the only distraction so she didn't break during the day. She refused to speak to Chaeng or anyone else who intended to strike up a conversation with her, making her day completely lonely, with the exception of the ghosts that followed her.

The hours passed quickly, and soon afternoon arrived. It was time to go home.

Some of Lisa's friends invited her to celebrate the birthday of one of the photo crew, but the girl kindly declined, saying she would have to pick up Chaeyoung from work.

Lie

On Fridays, Chaeyoung left before noon to pick up her daughter from daycare, and then went home to lunch with Jennie.

This was just Lisa's excuse for not having to be with her friends. After all, they were Jisoo's friends too, and Lisa wasn't in the mood to remember the girl at some of her friends' parties; not after what she did to her.

Lisa got into her car and sighed sadly, it was a degrading routine and an endless cycle.

First, she would turn on the car's heater on cold days, and the air conditioning on hot days.

Second, she would turn on the music and put on the same songs, sung by a certain singer who had broken her heart.

Third, she would cry a little and then eat a bar of her favorite chocolate. (Jennie wouldn't let Sarang ride in Lisa's car because the vehicle was always full of sweets)

Fourth, she would go home and shower, eat and go to her room; avoiding people in your family again.

And finally, Lisa would go up to the roof and drink as much as she could, cry and spend the night reminiscing about her good times.

And that's exactly what happened.

It was after two o'clock in the morning when Lisa felt she was sated from her drunkenness, and it was really cold.

She quickly entered her room through the window, and then closed it; take that cold wind. Staggering, she kind of threw herself on the bed, she was so tired.

Tired of still having her heart trapped in a flawed and lying love, created and cultivated in her stupid head.

Not that her and Jisoo's love was a liar, or a deceit; they really loved each other. Well, Lisa always believed so.

Lisa lined up under the sheets and tried not to look for a reason to have her heart broken by her ex lover. To this day Lisa didn't know what had motivated Jisoo to end their relationship, which is, they loved each other. They even got the same tattoos on Lisa's 18th birthday!

" What do you think of rabbits and turtles?" Jisoo asked.

The girl looked at her wrist, the little turtle rabbit was still there, faded, but it was still there.

"Jennie said you removed your tattoo" Lisa whispered to herself, tears welling up in her eyes.

Thanks to her high alcohol tolerance, Lisa didn't wake up with a hangover. Alive! A good thing at least. The room was still dark as before, but it was still nice, if Lisa stretched a little and checked the time, she could think about sleeping again.

Before she could check the time, the door was brutally opened by someone short and excited. The short figure ran to the bed and climbed purposefully. "Good morning mommy Rosie!" The girl screamed, and Lisa looked at her confused. "Hey! You're not my mommy Rosie!"

"No Sarang, I'm not" Lisa pinched the puppy's cheeks, "Did you make a mistake again with the doors? You know, could you just ask your mom Chaeng to put up stickers so you can know which aunt Lisa's room is and which one it's your mother's"

The girl was obviously irritated by the accusation that she might have (again) confused her mother's room with Lisa's.

"That's not what happened!" Sarang grunted.

"So tell me what happened, but first," Lisa stretched and yawned. "Let's brush our teeth and make us breakfast"

After helping Sarang with toothbrushing, Lisa let the girl bring her toys to the safe area of the kitchen so she could also supervise the child while she cooked.

But apparently, Sarang wasn't interested in her toys at all; instead she just started talking about the little argument her mothers had during the night.

"Eomma Nini and Mom Chaeng had a fight because Eomma Nini commented that they were asked to go somewhere and said she wanted to go and leave me with you, but Mom Chaeng got angry and said it was like betrayal," Sarang stopped, "And I don't know what that means.. So, what happened was this"

Lisa briefly absorbed what she had just heard. "Yes, but what does this have to do with you breaking into my room?"

"I also heard eomma bear telling mommy squirrel that she wouldn't sleep with her because she was being selfish. I thought she would come sleep with you" Sarang just said, then her little tummy rumbled and she smiled. "I don't know what 'selfish' means either"

Lisa found it strange, it was unusual for Rosé and Jennie to fight. And it was even stranger, the fact that Jennie had made his beloved wife supposedly go to sleep in her room.

The photographer helped Sarang into the high chair and then sat down beside her. She slid the fruit bowl into the small one and sat beside it with a plate of waffles.

Sarang politely thanked her for the meal and Lisa handed her her pink children's Hashi. Lisa watched Sarang mercilessly skewer the banana slice and bring to a soft chew, the baby squirrel dancing happily with the taste.

They ate in silence, until they heard lazy footsteps, then Jennie appeared in the kitchen with her hair up and a comfortable outfit, she didn't look good; it looked like the woman hadn't slept much. "Good morning dear" she kissed the chewing child's cheek, "good morning Lisa" she also kissed the photographer's cheek.

"Good morning omma" Sarang replied with full, Jennie smiles and kisses the girl's other full cheek. "Where's Mummy Chaeng?" the child asked after swallowing.

Jennie started to prepare her own breakfast, "Your mom is at Aunt Alice's house, she'll be back before lunch" the child nodded.

"She promised she would take me to Aunt Dahyun's house today! It's Yuki's dog's birthday" Sarang pouts and Lisa wonders why Dahyun let Sana adopt a dog for Yuki.

The Korean sighed and swallowed her bread before replying, "I promise that Mom Chaeng will be home before lunch, so you can go to Yuki's house."

Sarang smiled at her mother and sat up in her chair, then Jennie picked her up and then left her so she could run/chase Kuma and Hank to play.

Lisa got up to wash the dishes and clean up the mess the child had made.

"I need to ask you a favor, Lisa," Jennie said quietly, as if she was too embarrassed to say it out loud. Lisa hummed in response, so Jennie continued. "I need you to stay with Sarang overnight"

The photographer then turned to face Jennie and leaned against the counter beside the sink, wiping her hand with a cloth.

Jennie looked at her food. "
