Soohyuk met with an accident and his life changed after that. He suffered from a concussion and was in a coma for a while. When he gains back his consciousness, he met Jehoon in the hospital who also met with an accident and doesn't know he is in a coma. Soohyuk goes to the hospital often for his rehabilitation treatment. Soohyuk became close to Jehoon and started confiding in him. 

Han Hyojoo is Soohyuk's girlfriend whom he has no feelings for. Hyojoo is arranged by Soohyuk's parents for them to be married to each other in the future. Hyojoo thinks the accident took a toll on Soohyuk and made him mentally unsound. She finds him talking to himself a lot and having suspicious behavior. 

One day Soohyuk found Jinah walking alone in the garden of the hospital. Soohyuk was drawn to her cheerfulness and couldn't take his eyes off her. He talks to Jehoon about Jinah and Jehoon encourages him to break off with Hyojoo and pursue Jinah. However Jehoon doesn't know that the person Soohyuk mentions is his girlfriend, Jinah, Soohyuk heeds Jehoon's advice and went to approach Jinah.
