001. camp scintilla is a literate and original character roleplay. we take pride in advocating for muse development through literacy and roleplay events. please make sure that these are core ideas that you take passion in as well, as we strive to build a collaborative community to make the place a home for everyone.

002. due to the nature of potentially mature and triggering themes in this roleplay, we are only accepting typists and faceclaims who are at least 20 years old internationally (i.e., anyone born in 2001 and above; ‘02-liners are accepted given that their birthday has passed upon application to the roleplay).

003. only face claims of asian descent are accepted for now. for as long as they abide by the abovementioned rule and do not have a pre-existing, ongoing, or concluded allegation confirmed by a governing agency, you are free to get them reserved. in that manner, only officially represented figures will be admitted to the roleplay.

004. please observe the general rules of roleplaying at all times. no godmodding, fourth-walling, facechasing, shipchasing, racebending, and metagaming among others will be tolerated. you will be given at most a strike from the first report filed about your behavior before the admins decide to kick you out of the roleplay by the second report. this will result in a blacklist.

005. we will not be accepting faceclaims who are deceased, married, or do not wish to be roleplayed. banned career groups include youtubers, adult content creators, and twitch streamers. kindly send over a message in our platforms in any case you are unsure about your faceclaim of choice.

006. all orientations will be accepted.

007. there is a dating ban of 3 weeks. however, move-in couples are allowed given that they will have special AC requirements. the intention of the roleplay is to bring individuals together and build their stories and their connections from scratch. as such, this control measure is implemented as to not keep the move-in couple in their own bubble.

008. marriage is allowed after at least 6 months of dating with the provision of bringing NPC child/children. kindly coordinate with the admin team on the faceclaims of your NPC child/children so that we’re able to keep track and flag incoming couples of the claimed faces. likewise with dating, the moment we identify that your activity is focused solely on your significant other, please expect the admin team to give you a warning.

009. the roleplay operates on a currency system where certain actions are assigned specific values before a member is able to avail them. this is established by loading points in a resident’s apartment keycard which they can also use to avail specific amenities to aid their plot(s).

010. members may avail of a hiatus through their respective group chats with the admin team. ( Please refer to our Tumblr for the full list of classifications. )

011. character changes are allowed a month after being admitted to the roleplay with a clear indication of consistent activity within the community. you may only change faceclaims twice on a one month interval. second muses are allowed after a month of being in the community with the same provision for consistent activity. please include a note for the admins in your application form if you are securing a second muse. all stated actions have an assigned points value gathered through A.Cs and events. ( Please refer to our Tumblr for the full list of classifications. )

012. camp scintilla operates on a checklist system for the activity checks. each AC will last for 15 days, twice a month. hence, the 1st AC of the month will start on the 1st and end on the 15th. similarly, the second AC will start on the 16th and end on the 30th. these dates will be constant. ( Please refer to our Tumblr for the full details regarding ACs )

013. in the presence of mature content of varying forms in the roleplay, typists are mandated to not post potentially triggering forms of content (e.g., images, links, etc.) anywhere in the roleplay. however, typists could post triggering writing/threads as long as it is properly tagged. with regard to ual content, kindly post these in private.

014. for innuendos that arrive in casual conversations via open chat groups, kindly use the safe word jigglypuff as a cue of your discomfort. typists who will not stir the conversation away from said content are encouraged to be reported as we aim to provide a comfortable space for everyone to be in. members with offenses regarding triggering and ual content will be given a warning.

015. please be observant of the IC to OOC rule where the character’s behavior is not equal to the typist’s, failure to observe this rule results in a strike. all executions of IC drama should be agreed by all parties involved. In any case that you have plans of stirring drama for your muse’s development, kindly include an OOC note in related posts to give the community a proper heads up. we request that you discuss limits with your co-typists and set boundaries for your muse to muse interactions as needed.

016. if someone gets a strike, the first one will result to the team stripping off 50 points from that person’s keycard. the second strike will strip off 80 points. the third strike will result to being removed from the roleplay and getting blacklisted.

017. while it is implied that no OOC drama will be tolerated, typists who will be involved in such are expected to settle their issues with each other. please be mindful of the community you’re in and take note that everything that happens within the roleplay is fictional and should not be taken to heart not unless personal boundaries have been disrespected OOC. kindly raise your matters with the admins in any case a compromise is not being met upon your initial discussion with the typist you are in conflict with. members with the offense will be given a strike. in another instance of a typist being involved in OOC drama, they will be immediately removed and blacklisted from the roleplay provided that they have been proven to have caused discomfort to several members of the roleplay.

018. in addition to the point above, all accusations brought to the admins have to be met with evidence, and an investigation on the matter will be conducted as thoroughly as possible. however, do note that we will not be able to conduct investigations without evidence. as we seek to be as transparent with our actions, all decisions made regarding these matters or the typists involved will be notified publicly.

019. typists who will be caught practicing plagiarism in any shape or form (provided that there is enough proof from concerned parties) will immediately be removed and blacklisted from the roleplay. please be responsible content creators regardless of this activity’s fictional nature.

021. while established connections are a given for a literate roleplay, no typist will be excused for cliquey behavior and bubble roleplaying. this includes shunning current and neophyte members through badmouthing them and their muses in any particular manner (ie. personality of their muse, writing style, etc.). anyone caught exhibiting soft blocking behaviors as well towards co-typists such as not reacting through their posts (ie. either with emojis or comments) and hiding your profile’s visibility from them will be given the appropriate sanctions or consequences. the admins will not excuse the non-existence of common decency if you are that type of typist. should you prefer just chatting or writing with your friends, then this place is not for you.

022. please do not kick off any conversation about other roleplays and typists outside camp scintilla. let’s keep the community as exclusive as possible for the roleplay only.

023. camp scintilla is a hatchet burying zone meaning everyone is mandated to drop all existing grudges with users you may have had beef with in the past and start with a clean slate. in this regard, please do not speak ill of anyone within the roleplay. should issues still occur, kindly bring this up immediately in your respective admin group chats with ample evidence for us to aid you in your case.

024. the admins of camp scintilla reserve the right to remove delinquent members at any time should multiple reports about their disturbing behavior be met. in the same manner, we are to strictly screen applicants who may use duplicate accounts despite being kicked out or blacklisted initially from the roleplay. kindly act your age as the individuals who are handling this community aim to make this place as comfortable as possible for everyone to be in. while we strive to be objective in everything we do, the least we expect from the members is to abide by these rules and trust the admins to improve the community on a day-to-day basis. let’s be transparent with one another should any issues arise on your end and if there are concerns or suggestions that you’d want the admins to consider.

001. typists are required to provide their accounts from all stated platforms, if applicable: AFF, Tumblr, and Twitter. all accounts must be at least 4 months old. kindly provide your duplicate accounts as well, for purposes of filtering typists who may have had delinquency records from previous roleplays. should you not have an account in one or two platforms, please indicate N/A in the application form. all accounts disclosed to us will be kept confidential until the typist has landed the blacklist caused by violating multiple rules. please be transparent with us.

002. for reservations, kindly reach us via AFF or Tumblr with this information: your desired faceclaim, their group/profession including the agency they belong to, and their OC name. we ask for the latter as well for purposes of notifying other typists that your chosen name might potentially be registered in the roleplay’s masterlist as duplicate first names are not allowed. kindly wait for your reservation post to be published before your reservation is deemed valid. this information will be added to our pages as an FYI for other typists who wish to join the roleplay as well. if reserving anonymously on Tumblr, kindly provide a unique password as well, so that we are able to distinguish your application.

003. reservations will last for 48 hours and no extensions will be given. if your reservation has expired, you may lock in another reservation with us, but there will be no promises of your initially desired faceclaim being available this time around.

004. please make sure that you have read through all the rules and other crucial information of the roleplay (i.e., locations, available spots in jung district, etc.) prior to filling out the application form. successful applicants will be notified through the acceptance posts published on AFF and Tumblr. applicants may be contacted directly for any missed fields or to raise clarifications on specific pieces of information shared with us in their application.

005. in the same manner, please be patient with your acceptance in the roleplay as we will be doing this on a scheduled basis (mondays, wednesdays and saturdays, KST).

001. when creating your MeWe account, kindly make sure to indicate your muse’s full name as reflected in the application in english with no special characters, fonts or emojis used. please set Jung District - Chosen Residence as the information in the city field.

002. in the "feed preferences" settings, tick the New Posts options. this is a requirement so new posts would not get buried on your feed.

003. accounts to be onboarded in the roleplay should be clean with no contacts and free of posts from past roleplays. kindly make sure to change your URL ID as well in the settings of your profile to fit your new muse.

☆ for past members, accounts have to be cleared through either options: full deletion of posts from the pre-revamped roleplay OR deletion of posts containing comments given by muses who are no longer part of the revamped roleplay.

004. new members are required to accomplish a checklist upon arrival.

005. once you are all set, please add the staff within 48 hours upon acceptance. kindly inform us if you will be having delays with adding the admins so that we may issue a 24-hour extension before freeing your faceclaim.
