Hiiro -Notes, Informative-

Description

This is for a more in depth look into what Hiiro does in the storyline. There are not really any major spoilers, so don't worry about anything getting wrecked for you. OG Anime and fanfic info mesh as well so you all know.

Foreword

Hiiro 'Narbe' Bairete

-Notes-

*Relationship to Pedestal of Narbe

6/24/21

Hiiro's inhuman heart 'Dagon Zot' and his human soul, are considered holy artifacts by the Pedestal of Narbe; 'PoN' has recently seen a surge of new fanatics for some reason and many believe forces of those that supported the chaos of Dagon Zot's rampages are building for some unknown cause. In reality they see Hiiro as the vessel of Dagon Zot's revival and they want the original Dagon Zot's form to come forth once more and begin a reign under the title of the 'True Daemon-King of Terror'. However, this is not as straight forward as it first appears... (cont. below).

*Hiiro's 'Nickname' of Narbe

6/24/21

Hiiro doesn't approve of this so-called other name of 'Narbe' for him and finds it thoroughly annoying to be called by it. Hiiro adopted his last name of 'Bairete' from a combination of his deceased father's and mother's names but no one other than he and his companions use his last name as he'd like. Instead, because of the growing suspicion of Dagon Zot's revival, and his actions throughout the OG Anime, he has started to become known as 'Narbe the Daemon-Prince'. Eventually everyone calls him 'Lord Narbe' out of a propaganda run that claims Hiiro will destroy the Three Kingdoms of Kunaaan and unite the land under Dagon Zot's/his power.

*Toll of the evil dragon heart upon Hiiro overtime

6/24/21

CII-LV takes place one year or so after the events of CI thus his age of 17 rolls around in the plot. Though it's not really mentioned as of any real importance, the Pedestal of Narbe officially (and secretly) takes plan to find and revive Dagon Zot at any cost. However, though Hiiro is mentally young and still rather childish to a fault, the fact that Dagon Zot's heart begins to influence him starts small but becomes more obvious over time. However, it is not just mentally but physically speaking as well. His loosely termed 'dragon form' is no longer able to be assume due to some unknown reason in Lucid Victory, but another phenomena takes place instead when Hiiro is killed over and over. As the power of his magic stems directly from the heart of Dagon Zot, the physical manifestation of the otherwise loosely coined 'dragon form' becomes known as his 'Frenzy-Shift' stages of progressive transformation into a similar form of Dagon Zot the evil dragon...

Every time Hiiro enters into a 'Frenzy' stage, his abilities and prowess/magic explodes in efficiency but only during a Frenzy stage. It also takes pieces of his human form and changes it subtly with every use and every time he dies. When the Frenzy Stage ends, his power/magic returns to that of his original potential but he progressively becomes more physically like the evil dragon. This is essentially the end goal of PoN, to 'revive' Dagon Zot meaning they want to cast down his human form and replace it with the evil dragon's. However, Frenzy-Shift is not something that can be easily activated. For every time it is to be activated, Hiiro has to die. Only by killing him can the Frenzy stage activate, while also restoring his human life in the process, but losing his human form as well. Only if he kills himself does this not happen, but he will still revive regardless. It will not activate under any other condition even if his life or those he cares for drives him emotionally berserk. He must die (other than by his own hand) to progress the transformation.

*Hiiro's progressive physical transformation into the 'True Daemon-King of Terror' and Frenzy stage

6/24/21

Throughout the story Hiiro must die in order to activate Frenzy stage, and only by that method does he begin to shift form into a similar form like that of Dagon Zot. Technically Hiiro in this sense cannot permanently stay dead, but can be killed and revived and so on and so forth over and over. Death can involve any kind of method as long as either a) his heart stops b) his head is severed from the body in which case his head has to be reattached to resume 'life' or regrows a new head c) all physical traces of himself and the heart are obliterated, permanently.

He cannot regenerate a full body from simply his head. However, if his head is destroyed, the body can regenerate his head instead (with all memories, abilities, etc in tact). This is due to the fact of Dagon Zot's heart residing in his body. As long as it resides within him by being connected spiritually/physically he cannot 'die'. The heart itself can regenerate from itself in truth should both the body and head be destroyed while retaining all previous transformations and so forth but only as a last resort. The heart itself can be destroyed but all three parts of his physical self must be destroyed at one time- head, body, and heart while also severing his soul from his physical form and spiritual connection with Dagon Zot's heart.

Only when all three parts have been destroyed as a whole and his physical and spiritual self be eliminated, can he actually be considered truly dead. As long as any fragment that is remotely part of the heart of Dagon Zot remains/exists, he can regenerate from it without fail. True death is virtually impossible in this sense. He is basically is the OP immortal/has the ability to regenerate in ridiculously short amount of time in the story. With every Frenzy stage (after the activation wares off) Hiiro loses some part of his original human form. It typically starts out with small changes, but progresses into a much more noticeable changes.

*Roles of Hiiro Bairete in CII Lucid Victory

(with information regarding of Kunaaan's deposition, in relevance to his story/progress)

6/24/21

After the defeat of Nanbuuko and the destruction of the evil dragon incarnate Dagon Zot, Hiiro and tow decide to continue traversing across the continent in hopes of continue peace among the three nations of Kunaaan. However, Hiiro can no long use his 'dragon-form' ability for some unknown reason. There is also a sinister fanatical group/occult after Hiiro and the heart of Dagon Zot. They are called the 'Pedestal of Narbe' and are seeking him out for their own mysterious intentions.

(The three nations are: Sain-Amoria, Ishilfeen and Vanlodis)

Each nation is in steady decline due to the nefarious actions the weapons dealer Nanbuuko had caused that resulted in a major jump in arms/soldiers and other items/interests of war. Now with no war and no means of getting their hands on any kind of retribution (money wise) they are forced to dig deep into their pockets as each nation struggles to keep up in appearances and power/control over and with the others. Tensions of money, power, and alliances are all on the line at this period of time in the story. It's about to boil over and become a massive full scale war for resources at this point, as the weapons and other war-crafted magical items and such are bulging at the seams to be used. No one wants them, but no one wants to let them go at the same time, without a heavy price to pay.

Hiiro wants to put a stop to the war in some way, but being penniless and without any kind of power over the situation other than his word of mouth, Hiiro is totally helpless to stop the fanning flames of glowering discontent. Despite his victory over Nanbuuko and Dagon Zot, he is still helpless to do anything about the looming war between the nations. Despite his wishes for peace, he is put at the center of the growing crisis when a conspiracy about Hiiro and the heart of Dagon Zot are used as a means of propaganda by PoN followers. Also, as he is not yet a fully fledged adult nor of any use with the sword, he is generally treated like a brat by anyone with any stance of power or influence. Though among the common people he's rather well liked and typically given special treatment due to his heroic actions.

Though the majority doesn't know of his secret being he has the still-quite-alive beating heart of Dagon Zot residing within his body. This alone could spark a massive out of control power-struggle as they would inevitably try to kill him, capture him, or attempt to allure him to their cause/side. PoN basically creates this panic out of the fact they try to make it appear only that if Hiiro joins PoN of his own free will, he will be able to be accepted and treated as he should be. That's the other thing about PoN being they are not forcefully making him join unlike the others that seek every opportunity to get to Hiiro in any way possible. PoN simply extends the invitation of diplomacy and safety to Hiiro should he side with them.

Though they are responsible for allowing the propaganda of his secret to be publicly known outside of Hiiro's close knitted group. They claim he can reach his true potential, but only if he chooses to do so out of his own free will and not by the outside force of opinion. Also, the hierarchy of the Pedestal of Narbe is very tightly kept secret as they hand their hand in every pocket of some kind. Be it political or common place, high up or cut throat, they have their means of getting Hiiro into some sort of agreement to convince him to their interests. While they are not specific about the 'revival of Dagon Zot' in regards to his self, they are quite public appealing in the idea that the 'true king' of all of Kunaaan should be Hiiro and served faithfully by those he sides with.

While Pedestal of Narbe is nothing more than a farce of public appearances to appeal to the masses and to make the other kingdoms quiver in rage and fear, the true goal of PoN remains and so does its' cause of ruling over Kunaaan as a unparalleled source of wealth and most importantly to them, power over all creation as Dagon Zot 'rightfully should'.

*The Propaganda War and the Public Facade/Secret Side of the 'Pedestal of Narbe'

6/24/21

PoN intentionally creates what comes to be known for and pushes the 'Prop-War' (short for Propaganda War) to basically 'force without force' Hiiro into joining their ranks and have him proceed to become the true 'king' of Kunaaan under their facade of being a holy 'crusade' with the intention to cease the war considering nations. Though PoN do not force Hiiro publicly to join them, they have their various connections to manipulate his decision in the end game phases of his steadily increasing and dire situation as his body warps into that of a monster with the eventual outcome of him totally losing his mind to their 'twisted desires' in the process.
